Group Commends Tinubu’s Official Visit to the United Kingdom

A socio-political organization known as Diaspora for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027 has applauded the outcome of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu’s recent official trip to the United Kingdom, describing the visit as productive and beneficial for Nigeria’s global relations.

In a statement issued by the group’s Chairman, Julius Imabeh, on Friday, the association described the meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and King Charles III as a landmark diplomatic interaction that highlights the strengthening relationship between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

According to the statement, the engagement represents an important step toward improving bilateral cooperation, building stronger diplomatic trust, and encouraging mutual economic growth between the two countries. The group explained that the visit reflects a renewed determination by both nations to deepen collaboration, maintain respect for shared interests, and promote long-term prosperity.

Imabeh further stated that the visit carries strong economic significance for Nigeria, noting that high-level diplomatic meetings often create opportunities for foreign direct investment, expansion of international trade, and stronger partnerships in major sectors such as infrastructure development, energy production, agriculture, and modern technology.

He added that the successful engagement has helped to boost international confidence in Nigeria’s economic policies and leadership direction. From a strategic and geographical perspective, the group believes the visit reinforces Nigeria’s position as a key commercial gateway within Africa and a major partner for global cooperation.

Speaking further, the Women Leader of DPBAT2027, Mrs Jocelyn Igbafe, said the diplomatic mission will also help improve international cooperation and support programmes focused on empowerment, skills development, and inclusive economic growth, especially for women and young people across the country.

She explained that meetings of this nature create opportunities for knowledge transfer, cultural exchange, and development of human capital, which are essential for sustainable national progress.
