Victor Osimhen Transfer Update: Napoli Engages Galatasaray in New Direct Talks, Outlines Two Key Conditions

Napoli Football Club has reinitiated direct negotiations with Turkish giants Galatasaray over the potential sale of their prolific Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen.

This update was shared by renowned football transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano, who disclosed that Napoli has specified two critical conditions that Galatasaray must meet to secure the signature of the Super Eagles forward.

According to Romano, the reigning Serie A champions have expressed their openness to evaluating Galatasaray’s latest bid for Osimhen. The discussions between both clubs are actively progressing with a goal to reach a final agreement on the 26-year-old’s transfer within this week.

Sharing this development on his official X account (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, Romano stated:

“Fresh direct negotiations ongoing today concerning the Osimhen deal as we approach a decisive week. Galatasaray has officially submitted a bid: an upfront payment of €40 million, with an additional €17.5 million and another €17.5 million structured as installments. Napoli is receptive to this proposal but is firm on revising the payment schedule and securing bank guarantees.”

In addition to the club negotiations, Osimhen himself has reportedly expressed a strong desire to make the move to Galatasaray, having turned down lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal
