Transfer News: Galatasaray Tables €75 Million Deal for Victor Osimhen as Napoli Considers Offer

Galatasaray and Napoli have officially reopened discussions regarding a potential permanent transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen. After a successful loan period, the Turkish Super Lig champions are eager to secure Osimhen on a full-time basis.

Renowned football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, disclosed that Galatasaray is prepared to activate Osimhen’s €75 million release clause. The proposed payment structure would see the amount settled in three separate installments.

In an update shared via his official X account (formerly Twitter), Romano stated:

“New direct talks underway today for the Osimhen deal ahead of a crucial week.
Galatasaray’s offer is currently on the table: €40 million upfront, followed by two payments of €17.5 million each.
Napoli is open to this arrangement but is pressing for alternative payment conditions along with strict bank guarantees.”

This indicates that while Napoli is receptive to Galatasaray’s offer, the Italian club is keen on revising the financial terms to ensure more favorable and secure payment assurances.
