Early Life and Education
Born on December 7, 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the third of seven children in the family of Tim and Angelina Oyakhilome. Among his siblings are five sisters and one brother, all actively involved in the operations of LoveWorld Incorporated (Christ Embassy).
Pastor Chris attended Edo College and later gained a scholarship to study Architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Alli University) in Ekpoma, Edo State.

On February 2, 1991, Pastor Chris married Anita Ebhodaghe, and the couple was blessed with two daughters, Sharon and Charlene.
Ministry Beginnings
Pastor Chris’s ministry began during his university days. While at Ambrose Alli University, he founded a youth ministry called Youth for Christ, which became the largest student fellowship on campus. Later, the name evolved into Believers’ LoveWorld (BLW), widely known today as Christ Embassy.
After his graduation in 1987, Pastor Chris established a church in Benin City before relocating to Lagos in 1989. BLW rapidly grew, expanding its reach to higher institutions and cities worldwide.
