Rhapsody of Realities March 3rd 2025, PRIORITIZE CHURCH ATTENDANCE

Pastor Chris Oyahkilome DSc DSc DD Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching (Hebrews 10:25). One of the things you must become more conscious of and take very seriously as we anticipate the Lord’s soon return is what the Bible says in Hebrews 10:25 (NIV), “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” If you’ve been found wanting in this aspect, not taking church attendance very seriously, you need to change and make it a priority. Be regular with your church attendance, because in the house of God, you’ll learn the Word of God and be established in the Faith. This isn’t optional but a clear instruction for every child of God. Today, there’s so much information competing for your attention. This is one more reason why you must prioritize church attendance. Don’t assume you’ll know it by merely thinking about it. The Scriptures have been given to educate, inform, and culture us in the things of God. The Lord Jesus said, “Search the Scriptures…” (John 5:39) and Paul admonished, “Study the Word” (2 Timothy 2:15). What better way to learn and share the Scriptures than with other Christians in Church! In the Old Testament, God commanded the children of Israel to gather at appointed times. In the New Testament, the principle remains; you must present yourself in the house of God. It’s not about hopping from one church to another every Sunday; rather, be committed and actively participate in the activities in your church family. Get introduced to the leaders of the church and make yourself known. Identify with the family of God. The love you have for other Christians is a testimony in your spirit that you’ve passed from death to life as 1 John 3:14 says,“We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.” Present yourself in the house of God and make yourself available for the Spirit of God to minister to you through the Word. The Bible describes the church as the pillar and ground of truth, the custodian of God’s revelation. So, prioritize church attendance and let the Word of God transform your life from glory to glory. Hallelujah! PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the privilege of belonging to your family. I commit myself to learning and living by your Word, presenting and making myself a committed member of a church family, and demonstrating your love to others. Your Word cultures me, and I walk in its light daily, bearing fruit that glorifies you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. I don’t stagger at the Word of God through unbelief; I’m ever strong in faith, giving glory to God! No sickness, disease or infirmity can thrive in my body because I’m joined to the Lord and I’m one spirit with Him. There’s no death in my life, family, finances, business, or job because the One in me is greater. I am a life-giving spirit and everything I touch or connect to receives life. Rhapsody of Realities February 24th 2025, RULE YOUR WORLD

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us (Romans 8:37). Think about what we just read in our opening scripture! It means your victory over the adversary is already settled. It’s the result of what Jesus accomplished for us through His death, burial and resurrection. Today, your responsibility is to maintain that victory; rule your world. Take charge. God has given you the dominion and the authority to alter the course of events in the earth, using the Name of Jesus. Revelation 1:6 tells us something remarkable; it says God has “…made us kings and priests….” Kings rule. Kings exercise dominion and exert authority. Romans 5:17 tells us something equally beautiful; it says, “…they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” That’s your calling: to reign in life through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that God set Jesus Christ in the high place of glory, put all things under His feet, and legally declared Him to be the head over all things for the benefit of the Church: “And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all” (Ephesians 1:22-23). The Church is His body; therefore, if all things have been placed beneath His feet, and you’re part of His body, it means all things have been placed under your feet. Satan, failure, sickness, poverty and death are all under your feet. Glory be to God! You’re seated at the right hand of God in Christ Jesus; that means you’re in the place of divine authority and power. Therefore, reign in life, and rule over circumstances. Hallelujah! Moment of meditation: https://loveworldlyrics.com/sovereign-lord-you-are-by-pastor-ruthney-and-loveworld-singers-praise-night-22/ PRAYERDear Father, with the authority you have given me, I take charge of my world with confidence and boldness. I enforce your will and purpose in my city and nation as I side with you in bringing your Word to pass in this world. I declare that your Word prevails in the lives of men, for amplified activities of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. READ ALSO: DAILY AFFFIRMATIONS: I have the life of God in me. I am born of God. I walk in the fullness of the blessings of Christ. I am propelled, by the sheer force of eternal life. My ever-expanding peace and reign have no end. I am present, constant, and relevant. I am the seed of Abraham. Everything about me expands and extends even unto eternity. I am a tree planted by the rivers of water. I bring forth my fruits and my leaves shall never run dry. I am furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. Everything required for life and godliness is present in me. There’s order and grace in my life. I will never go down. When men are cast down, I will always be lifted. I walk in preordained pathways, for God has structured the course of events in my favour, and I go on to fulfil my divine destiny, to the glory and praise of His Name. I rejoice with profound joy because the Lord has filled my mouth with laughter and His joy is my strength. I do not know weakness, depression, or oppression of any sort. I think the right thoughts and speak the right words. I am a testimony and the inheritor of the blessings of Abraham. I was born to be triumphant always and in every place. Regardless of the challenges that I may face, I will always win. It makes no difference what happens, where I find myself or who’s against me; I am more than a conqueror! I am stronger, bigger, healthier, brighter and wiser today, than I was yesterday, for the invigorating power of the Holy Spirit works actively and mightily in and through me daily. It works in me mightily, causing my health to flourish daily. No weapon formed against my body shall prosper, for my body is preserved by the Spirit. I was born for the praise and glory of God; therefore, my life shows forth God’s praise and glory. I can never be disadvantaged, because the Lord God is mighty in me. I’m the expression of the unseen Christ, the brightness of His glory. As He is, so are am I in this world. I experience ever-increasing glory, always full of grace, peace and righteousness. I declare that God has given me riches and wealth, and the wisdom to multiply them in Jesus’ name. Amen. Speak in tongues. Rhapsody of Realities February 18th 2025,THE LIVING AND ACTIVE WORD

Tuesday,Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). I love the James Moffatt’s rendering of the verse above. It says, “For the Logos of God is a living thing, active and more cutting than any sword with double edge, penetrating to the very division of soul and spirit, joints and marrow — scrutinizing the very thoughts and conceptions of the heart.” That’s the Word; it’s a living thing. The Amplified version says, “It’s living and active”: “For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Imagine inundating your spirit with the Word; it’ll have a great impact on your soul and body! When the pressures of life come, when you’re squeezed by life’s challenges, it’s the Word that’ll come forth. And God’s Word is God’s creative material; it’ll produce what it talks about. 1 Timothy 4:15 says, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” Also, Joshua 1:8 says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Instead of worrying about your health and trying to figure out every little sensation in your body; meditate onthe Word. The Word will keep you in health and safety. When you face difficulties, respond with the Word. God’sWord holds the power to change circumstances and bring life to every situation. Therefore, I refuse to be sick or broken in life. I am always in sync with the Holy Spirit, God is at work in me both to will and to do according to his good pleasure. My eyes are opened to see financial opportunities and divine doors that are opened unto me to produce wealth. I am favoured by the right people in the right places at the right time. Rhapsody of Realities February 17th 2025, THE WORD IN YOU

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly… (Colossians 3:16). There’s something so important and beautiful that Jesus said in John 15:7, and it explains why you need to have the Word of God abundantly in you. He said, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” You have to abide in Him and have His Word abide in you. That’s what fortifies you against the troubles and adversities of life. It brings to mind what He said in John 8:31, “…If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.” It’s about abiding or continuing in His Word, doing the Word, never giving up. But if you don’t know His words, how can they abide in you? You’ve got to hear them, learn them, study them, and keep them in you. And here’s the beautiful result of having the Word abide in you: “…ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you” (John 15:7). The word translated “ask” here is ‘aiteo,’ which means “to call or require.” So, itmeans to call up or call forth what you desire. The phrase “be done” comes from the Greek word “ginomai,” meaning to come into being. The Lord Jesus is saying, “If my words abide in you, you shall call whatever you think about, whatever you require, and it will come into being.” That’s powerful! It makes spiritual sense because if God’s Word is abundant in you, why should you beg for anything? God’s Word is the creator of all things. The Bible says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” (John 1:1-3). If all things were made by the Word, and that Word is in you, why not release the Word instead of begging? Call forth what you desire, and it will manifest; it will leap into reality! So, heap up the Word in you and it’ll cause you to triumph in life. PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the power of your Word at work in me. Your Word is in my heart and on my lips. Even now, I call forth my desires; your Word on my lips creates realities. All things work together for my good, and I live a victorious, fulfilled life because I walk in the light of your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Rhapsody of Realities February 9th 2025,

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it (John 14:13-14). When you study the words of the Master in the scripture above, you’ll realize that He was referring to using His Name with authority; doing great works in His Name. He was emphasizing the power and authority vested in His Name, making it clear to us that this authority is effective in bringing about any desiredresult. Hallelujah! Let’s examine those words a bit more: first, He said, “If you shall ask anything in my name….” To ask here means to demand something. The Lord Jesus was referring to situations where you demand that something should happen in His Name. At such moments, He says, “I will cause it to happen.” What an assurance! This is a demonstration of the authority we have in His Name. An example of this can be found in Acts chapter 3, where Peter and John encountered a man who had been crippled from birth. Peter simply used the Name of Jesus with the understanding of the authority that it wields. He understood what Jesus meant when He said, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do…” (John 14:13). As a result, Peter demanded healing for the man who was crippled from birth. The Bible says, “And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God” (Acts 3:7-8). This is precisely what Jesus was talking about—using His Name with authority. Recall what He said in John 10:25, “…I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.” He commissioned us to do the same in His Name. We have the authority to speak to anything in His Name and have a miracle. You can speak to broken bones, blind eyes, and every challenging situation in His Name, and there’ll be a change. Glory to God! When you speak in His Name, He’s present with divine power to ensure that your words come to pass. He guarantees the results. This is the authority we’ve been given; it’s power beyond this world; power to change circumstances in His Name. Hallelujah! Moment of Worship: https://loveworldlyrics.com/so-it-is-written-by-sylvia-and-loveworld-singers-praise-night-21/ PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the authority in the Name of Jesus. Rhapsody of Realities Tuesday, February 4th 2025, SALVATION GAVE YOU POWER OVER SIN

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins (Luke 1:77). In Luke 1:76-77, we see a powerful revelation about salvation. It says, _*“And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins.”*_ The first thing about salvation is remission or the removal of sin. This is so important because without this understanding, many live a life that doesn’t reflect the true change salvation brings. In Acts 3:25-26, the Apostle Peter addressed the Jewish congregation, reminding them of God’s promise to their ancestors. He declared that they were the children of the prophets and of the covenant made with their forefathers. Peter explained, _*”Unto you first God, having raised up His Son Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities”*_ (Acts 3:26). This verse reveals another crucial aspect of salvation: the blessing to be turned away from sin. God blessed us by sending Jesus to turn us away from our iniquities. You couldn’t do it by yourself. You might have struggled with sin, but when you received salvation, you received power over sin. In Luke 24:46-47, Jesus made it clear that repentance and the remission of sins should be preached in His Name among all nations, starting from Jerusalem: _*“…Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”*_ Now you can understand why Paul cried out in Acts 13:38-39, _*“Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.”*_ This is a truth that many people need to understand. Sin is no longer a factor; its power to lord it over you has been removed. In Christ, you’ve been made sin-free. It helps you further understand why the Bible says in Romans 6:14, _*“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”*_ Hallelujah! *PRAYER* *Dear Father, I walk in the liberty of your grace, knowing that sin has no dominion over me. Through the sacrifice of Jesus, I have been made righteous, justified, and sanctified. I live in the consciousness of this victory, free from guilt, walking in the fullness of the blessings of salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.* *FURTHER STUDY* *||* *Colossians 1:13-14* Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins: *||* *||* *Romans 3:21-25* But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; *||* *||* *Romans 6:6-7* Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. *||*  READ ALSO: DAILY AFFIRMATIONS: I am a new creation, born with the life and nature of God. The knowledge of God’s Word in my heart, causes me to walk in faith, dominion, glory and power. I affirm that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life, and His life and nature that transcends the ordinary human life has been imparted to my spirit. My old life has been completely supplanted by the divine life, which is superior to sickness, disease, defeat and the depravities of the natural man. I am no longer subject to sickness, disease, failure, or death. God’s word abides in me forever. According to His supreme Word, I affirm that my whole being is saturated with light. I radiate His glory with health, success, prosperity, and excellence. My mind is flooded with the light of His Word and I only see pictures of life, strength, and health. I know who I am! I live above the deception, trickery, manipulation and lies of the adversary. I function in absolute victory. All grace—every favour and earthly blessing—come to me in abundance so that I may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need, be self-sufficient, possessing enough to require no aid or support, furnished in abundance, for every good work. I am a life-giving spirit and everything I touch or connect to receives life. My body is God’s house; the Holy Spirit perambulates every fiber of my being and every cell of my blood. In the presence of God is fullness of joy and at His right hand are pleasures evermore. I’m full of joy, peace, love, and kindness. I’m continually filled with the Spirit of God. I have the life and nature of God in me; therefore, I’m an overcomer and more than a conqueror. I live in Christ, where divinity reigns. I reign

Rhapsody of Realities February 2nd 2025, YOUR OFFERING MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar (1 Kings 3:4). In 1 Kings 3, when Solomon became king of Israel, he was deeply troubled. He knew he was not the firstborn son, and his mother, Bathsheba, was not the first wife of his father, David. Solomon understood that his position as king would bring challenges because he had older brothers who despised both him and his mother. For example, when you study the accounts in 1 Kings 2, Solomon’s older brother Adonijah attempted to usurp the throne, and Solomon later ordered the execution of Adonijah, Joab, and Shimei to secure his reign. These show the violent and unstable environment in which Solomon ascended the throne. So, despite being king, he faced several threats to his life and position. He knew he had to do something beyond the ordinary to secure his reign and separate himself from the danger around him. What did Solomon do? He offered an extraordinary sacrifice to God. 1 Kings 3:4 says, “And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.”*_ Solomon was determined to put everything on the line in his worship to God. Today, we can learn from what Solomon did. It’s one of the ways to move forward and establish yourself where God has placed you. Moment of worship:   *PRAYER* *Dear Father, thank you for the opportunity to give into your Kingdom. I refuse to be subject to the limitations of this world, for Christ is my riddance as well as my advantage. Rhapsody of Realities January 31st 2025, LIFTED INTO HIS CLASS

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son (1 John 5:11).. When you receive eternal life—which is the unfading, unending and indestructible life of God—you receive the very nature and righteousness of God. This life lifts you into God’s class of being. Let me explain this to you because it’s so important. We often talk about who God is. God is not just a supernatural being who is so powerful that no one can resist Him, allowing Him to do whatever He pleases. While that’s true to some extent, there’s more to God than just His power. The Bible tells us that God is holy, God is righteous, God is just, and God is love. He created everything, and nothing exists that He didn’t create. Everything belongs to Him. We are from God; He made us. He had a plan for us, and in His plan, He determined to give us eternal life so that we would be more than mere creatures. He gave us eternal life to lift us into His class of being. That’s what the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17: “…If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature….” If you’re born again, it means you’re in Christ, and if you’re in Christ, you’re a new creature, a new kind of man, a new type of being, in God’s class of being. This doesn’t mean that you are equal with God but that you share in His nature. He remains your God and Heavenly Father, and He is greater than you, yet you can now relate with Him at a personal level, in a father-and child relationship. Just as a child relates to the parent as a human being, not as a dog or cat that belongs to a different class, we have been lifted into God’s class to relate with Him as associates of the God-kind. That’s what receiving eternal life means, and it’s the life that God has given to us through Jesus Christ. This is the good news we preach. This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is why we proclaim it to the world that eternal life has come and that now, anyone who believes has been lifted into God’s class of being. Moment of Meditation: *PRAYER* *Dear Father, thank you for the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. I rejoice because I have been lifted into your class of being, with your divine nature and righteousness. I’m a new creation, born again with your unfading, unending and indestructible life in me. I walk in the consciousness of this life every day, influencing my world with your power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.* *FURTHER STUDY* *||* *John 3:16* For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.*||* *||* *2 Corinthians 5:17* Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. *||* *||* *1 John 5:11-13* And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. *||*  READ ALSO: DAILY AFFIRMATIONS: I am empowered me to do great wonders and miracles and to effect positive changes in my world and in my health, family, and finances. Rhapsody of Realities January 29th 2025, A CALL TO ACT YOUR FAITH

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). In Luke 8:22-25, the Lord Jesus and His disciples set sail across the lake when a violent storm arose, causing the boat to be filled with water. The disciples, filled with fear, woke Jesus, saying, “Master, Master, we perish!” Jesus then arose, rebuked the wind and the raging waters, and the storm immediately ceased, resulting in a great calm. It was a marvellous display of divine authority. Then the Bible says, “…And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him” (Luke 8:25). Now, here’s what’s important: after rebuking the wind and the waves, Jesus turned to His disciples and asked, “Where is your faith?” That statement speaks volumes. He’s saying, “You could have done it yourselves.” By asking, “Where is your faith?” the Lord Jesus revealed that what they needed all along was their faith. He demonstrated that with faith, even the forces of nature are subject to us. He expected His disciples to know that their faith could have handled the situation. Hebrews 11:33-34 tells us what our forebears did through faith. They subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. We can do the same and even more in our day because we have the same spirit of faith (2 Corinthians 4:13). Our faith is real, it is substance, it has power, and the beautiful thing is that every Christian has faith. We all have the same measure of faith (Romans 12:3), and with your faith, you can do anything. You can change anything. The forces of nature, hell and of this world are subject to you. Activate your faith even now and speak to the storm, and there’ll be a great calm. Speak to your body, your blood, your bones, your heart and kidneys. Speak to your job, your finances, and your business. Speak and declare perfection in your health, your home and family. Rhapsody of Realities Tuesday, January 28th 2025, FRAME YOUR REASONING WITH THE WORD

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind… (Romans 12:2). When your reasoning is framed by God’s Word, you can’t think limitations, defeat, weakness or failure. God’s Word gives you a champion’s mentality; you just know that come what may, you’re always in victory. It brings to mind the story of Joshua and Caleb, two of the twelve spies sent by Moses to scout the land of Canaan, the land God had promised to the Israelites. While ten spies doubted and came back with a negative report, Caleb and Joshua had a different report. Caleb’s faith and courage stood out, and God promised that he and Joshua would live to enter the land and that Caleb would inherit the land he had explored. Years later, at 85, Caleb reminded Joshua of God’s promise and boldly declared, _*”Now therefore give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day…*_ (Joshua 14:12 NKJV). Caleb could have said, “You know, I’m 85 now, old and stricken with years. There’re lots of giants in Hebron. Can we get some other land? Is there an alternative?” But no; despite his age, Caleb was determined to claim Hebron. What a mindset! Some people, even in their 50s, start to believe they are too old to accomplish certain things, simply because in today’s world that has become a popular belief. They’ve become more acquainted with the ways of the world than with the Word of God. Caleb didn’t care how great or fenced the cities were or how formidable the Anakim giants seemed. He knew that with God, victory was inevitable. All that was important to Caleb was the Lord with Him! This same mentality should drive you today. You need to have the right mindset. God is calling you to think differently—to think as He would have you think. This is very important because the Lord has sent us in our day. He’s in us and always with us. You can do something about your family, business, work, finances, city, state and nation, knowing that victory is already yours in Christ Jesus. You’re not at the mercy of anyone. None of the powers of this world can dominate you. You’re the seed of Abraham; you’re an heir of God and joint-heir with Christ. You’re a God-man, a partaker of the divine nature. Have the right mentality about yourself; frame and construct it through the Word. Praise God! Rhapsody of Realities Monday, January 27th 2025, PRAYING LIKE HIM

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples (Luke 11:1) The Lord Jesus was so different from the religious leaders of His day and from what the people around Him were used to. Everything about Him was transcendent and awe-inspiring, including His prayer life and prayer language. His disciples, having watched Him for a while, came to Him one day and said, “Lord, teach us to pray.” Now, why did they ask this? Remember, they were Jews, and the Jews knew how to pray. The Jews prayed all the time; their entire life was centred around the temple and revolved around prayer. So, for a Jew to say “Teach us to pray,” means something significant. They already prayed religiously because their religion demanded it. They prayed several times a day as a routine. But they noticed something different about Jesus; they saw that His prayers were effective. They saw results. His words had power. Something happened when Jesus spoke. When Jesus prayed, it wasn’t religious; it seemed like He was actually talking to someone who was listening. They never saw the religious leaders pray like that. And even more astonishing, it seemed as though whoever Jesus was talking to responded, as His life reflected answers to those prayers. This was what amazed the disciples, so they said, “Master, teach us to pray.” Jesus taught them to pray, and they learned to pray like Him. As you study the Gospels, the Book of Acts, and the Epistles, you discover that they indeed learned to pray like Jesus. Through their writings, they taught us to pray as Jesus taught them, and now, we also pray like Jesus and have results like Jesus. When you get to know prayer like this, you’ll love to pray. You’ll realize that you can actually effect changes and make things happen through prayer. Prayer becomes a powerful tool to bring God’s will to pass in your life, in the lives of others and in the nations of the world. Moment of Meditation:   *CONFESSION* *My prayers are powerful and effective, imbued with the authority to cause changes in my life, my family and my world. Every word I speak in prayer carries power and produces results. Thank you, Lord, for making me an agent of change, in Jesus’ Name. Be Empowered by the Holy Spirit: Fear No Enemy

By His Eminence, Apostle Solomon Moses Mustapha (Babasebioba) Introduction: Living Fearlessly in the Power of the Holy Spirit Apostle Solomon Moses Mustapha, fondly known as Babasebioba, inspires believers to live a life of fearlessness through the power of the Holy Spirit. By being “drunk in the Holy Spirit,” believers are shielded by the blood of Jesus—the name above every other name—and remain untouchable in the camp of their enemies. Supernatural Power Within You Preaching from Acts 28:1-6, Apostle Babasebioba highlighted the story of Apostle Paul’s shipwreck on the island of Malta. Despite being bitten by a venomous viper, Paul was unharmed, demonstrating the supernatural power that God grants His people. Acts 28:5-6 says:“But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects. They were expecting him to swell up or suddenly fall down dead, but after waiting a long time and seeing nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and began to say that he was a god.” This power, Apostle Babasebioba stressed, resides in every believer filled with the Holy Spirit. It grants immunity against the plans of the enemy, ensuring that God’s children are not intimidated by ordinary circumstances. Breaking the Chains of Spiritual Attacks The Apostle shared that enemies often orchestrate spiritual attacks, such as dreams where one’s glory is consumed. Referencing Psalms 107:20, he reminded believers:“He sent his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Babasebioba prayed that any spiritual attacks tormenting believers would be nullified in Jesus’ name. He emphasized that salvation and deliverance from such schemes are available through the power of God. Recognizing and Overcoming Household Enemies Quoting Matthew 10:36, Apostle Babasebioba said:“And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household.” He explained that many battles Christians face stem from close relationships. However, with the Holy Spirit, believers gain authority over these challenges. He urged believers to be filled with the Spirit and walk boldly in their divine heritage. Signs and Wonders: Your Birthright as a Believer According to Mark 16:17-18, signs and wonders are the believer’s heritage:“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Apostle Babasebioba emphasized that no weapon formed against believers would prosper because they are covered by the blood of Jesus. Victory Over Challenges Using the analogy of Paul’s shipwreck and snake bite, Apostle Babasebioba encouraged believers to remain steadfast in faith during challenges. He reassured them that temporary trials often precede victory, quoting Psalms 108:13:“With your help, we will win the battle; you will walk all over our enemies.” He urged believers not to be swayed by public opinion but to hold firmly to God’s word, which is the ultimate truth. Special Prophetic Prayer and Testimonies Babasebioba prayed for all listeners: Believers were encouraged to partake in the “Holy Water” available at Seed of Christ Golden Church branches worldwide for miraculous testimonies. Conclusion: Walk Boldly in Authority In closing, Apostle Babasebioba urged believers to remain full of the Holy Spirit and trust in God’s promises. He reminded them that their identity in Christ makes them immune to the attacks of the enemy and victorious in every battle.
