Rhapsody of Realities, November 6th 2024,OUR POWER OF ATTORNEY TO USE THE NAME

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all (Acts 3:16). When we pray today, we don’t pray to Jesus in the Name of Jesus as that would be incorrect because it suggests using His power of attorney towards Himself, which makes no sense. The power of attorney Jesus gave us is to act in His stead, to use His Name as though He were the one speaking or making a request. Imagine you have given your lawyer the power of attorney to act on your behalf. This authority isn’t used to address you, but to interact with others on your behalf. Similarly, Jesus has given us His Name to represent Him. So, when we say, “In the Name of Jesus,” it carries the same weight as if Jesus Himself were speaking. This is one of the greatest honours we have as Christians. During our Healing Streams Live Healing Services, when I declare, “I bring you healing in the Name of Jesus, it’s not a simple statement; it’s a declaration of His authority and power. It doesn’t matter where the people are in this world or the situation they’re facing; when we use the Name of Jesus, every hindrance is removed, and the power of God is released. His Name is an instrument. Hallelujah! If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, for example, you can kill that cancer using the Name of Jesus. Place your hand over that area and say, “In the Name of Jesus, I command the cancer to die and pass out of my body.” If you do it the first time and nothing seems to happen, don’t despair; refuse to be moved. Remember, “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy” (Jonah 2:8). You can declare repeatedly that it’s dead until it dematerializes. If you’ve been feeling intense pressure in your head, tell it to loosen up in Jesus’ Name! Perhaps you’re usually attacked by fear, to the point you don’t like being alone in the house at night; it’s time to put an end to it. Even now, address that spirit of fear, say, “In the Name of Jesus, fear, I rebuke you; get out.” Then start declaring, “I refuse to fear; I’m bold in the Name of Jesus!” Maybe you’ve been job-hunting for a long time now to no avail, you can decide and say, “Today, I’m going out to have the best job I’ve ever had in my life, in the Name of Jesus” and you’ll get it. Hallelujah! The power of attorney given to us to use the Name of Jesus is absolute and ineffable. No circumstance, situation, or demon can gainsay, withstand, or refute that power. PRAYERDear Father, I thank you for the power and authority of the mighty Name of Jesus. I stand in the victory and dominion of that Name against circumstances and the forces of darkness. Satan’s influence and manoeuvres over God’s people are frustrated in the Name of Jesus, and the Church revels in the dominion and triumph of Christ, supremely blessed and favoured, in Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen. I am a king, and my words are full of power and authority; therefore, I live a life of victory, success, divine health, abundance, excellence, and glory. I am not a victim in this life. I am born and called to be a victor. I enjoy extraordinary strength by the Holy Ghost and divine enablement in my inner man. My life is a life of ever-increasing glory and peace. There is no turmoil here because I flourish in God’s rest. I am not a victim but a victor. God’s Word is producing what it talks about in my life. God’s Word is alive in me; therefore, I cannot die. Every time I receive the Word of God, it goes into my spirit and permeates my body. I belong to a deathless race that enjoys divine health, glowing daily with God’s beauty. I’m an associate of the God-kind, in vital, inseparable oneness and union with divinity. I’m superior to satan, and I’m above the forces of darkness, because I’ve been brought into the God-kind, a divine pantheon. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, holy and irreproachable in God’s sight. I’m living in health 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. The same Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead lives in me; it’s impossible for me to be brought down by sickness. No matter what the devil throws at me, I stand strong

Rhapsody of Realities, November 5th 2024,THE AUTHORITY OF HIS NAME

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it (John 14:13-14). Notice carefully that the Lord Jesus didn’t say, “Whatsoever you shall ask me in my name, that will I do. Rather, He said, Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name there’s a crucial difference here. You can’t ask Jesus something in the Name of Jesus. Often, people pray without thinking about their words. Many pray to the Lord Jesus and end the prayer with in the Name of Jesus. This is not correct. This is a prayer without understanding, and some pray this way without seeing results because they approach prayer with a religious mindset, not with the understanding of what Jesus taught. When Jesus said, “Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name”, He meant that whenever you make a demand or declare something in His Name, He will make it happen. It’s about exercising the authority that His Name represents. In Acts 3, we see a practical demonstration of this by Peter and John when they encountered a beggar who had been lame from birth. In verse 6, Peter said to him, …Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. Peter didn’t pray to Jesus. He spoke to the man in the authority of the Name of Jesus. Peter then took the man by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately, the man’s feet and ankle bones received strength. He jumped up, stood, and began walking, leaping, and praising God. Hallelujah! Afterwards, Peter explained and said to the people: And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all (Acts 3:16). Peter and John were demonstrating exactly what Jesus taught in John 14:13-14. They used the authority of Jesus’ Name to perform miracles, signs, and wonders.When you speak in His Name, Heaven responds; miracles happen. His Name carries the same power and authority of His person. So, when you use it, you invoke His presence and direct His glory to the situation you’re dealing with. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus to effect changes. I exercise that authority to establish your will in the earth and in the lives of men. I pray today, that people everywhere will experience the goodness of God, for indeed the whole earth is filled with your goodness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. DAILY AFFIRMATION I’m more than a conqueror! I have been translated from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of light. Diseases and infirmities are not a part of my life in the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. I recognize the efficacy of God’s Word that works in me today. I have and enjoy perfect health, victory, success, and prosperity now and always. My body and everything connected to me align with God’s provisions. Christ’s glory manifests in my body as I flourish in divine health daily. I believe God’s Word for me. I speak it because it is my life. The glory and blessings therein are evident in my life. I speak the same things God has said concerning me. I proclaim wellness, wholeness, and life to my body today. Everything connected to me is infused with eternal life and divine energy. Everything about me exudes the life of Christ; therefore, my health does not fail, rather, it is ever radiant and ever flourishing. There is no failure in my body systems; no heart failure, no kidney failure, no lung failure, no liver failure. All the organs and systems of my body, my heart, kidneys, lungs, brain, liver, skin, blood vessels and all others are functioning perfectly. There is perfect soundness in my body. I am an associate of the God-kind, recreated into the image and likeness of the Son of God! I function from the place of advantage, victory, dominion and power. I am guided and propelled by God’s divine wisdom to do

Rhapsody of Realities, November 4th 2024, WORKS OF LOVE THROUGH US

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it (John 14:12-14). What a profound statement the Lord Jesus made in the verses above. He said, “…He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do….” He meant the works of love He continues to do by the Spirit through us because we’re the extension of His ministry. As the prophet Isaiah said, “…he shall see His seed, he shall prolong his days…” (Isaiah 53:10). He’s prolonging His days and continuing His ministry through us. This is so amazing. Always remember that you’re not alone; Christ is at work in you. Look closely at verse 14 of the opening verse: “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” Did you notice there’s no special clause here? There’s no conditions or exceptions; He said anything. Most people have never truly understood this enough to take advantage of it. The Lord Jesus said exactly what He meant and meant exactly what He said. Anything you ask in His Name is yours. Glory be to God! In John 16:23, He tells us more about the day of the Church: “And in that day ye shall ask me nothing….” At first glance, this may seem like a contradiction of what we read earlier in chapter 14. But if you go back to chapter 14 and read from verse 12, you’ll notice what He’s talking about. He said, “…He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” The “greater works” are possible because Jesus has ascended to the Father and sent the Holy Spirit to empower us and impact the world with His love, power, and presence. We’re not limited. He has equipped us to do the same works that He did. This isn’t just about performing miracles; it’s about revealing the love and glory of God through our lives, just as Jesus did. PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the privilege of doing the works of Jesus and even greater works through the power of your Spirit in me. I declare that I am a vessel of your love, power and glory, manifesting your presence in every situation. Thank you for the confidence and boldness to ask anything in the Name of Jesus, knowing that you will do it. I rejoice and rest in the assurance of your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. DAILY AFFIRMATION: Thank You precious Father, for the provisions of the Gospel; I’m confident in all that You’ve done, and I take my place of dominion, reigning and ruling with You, for I know You’ve made all things mine. I’m what you say I am; I have all you say I have; and I can do all things in the Name of the Lord Jesus. I’m rich in all things because I’m a joint heir with Christ. I thank You Lord, for setting me apart as Your peculiar treasure, unique and special, born of the Spirit and the Word. Everywhere I go, I manifest Your virtues and perfection, living out my divine purpose. I am immune to every form of toxin, poison, or venom. I walk in the reality of who I am in Christ, a new creation with God’s indestructible and “uninfectable” life. My progress is unstoppable because I cannot be limited by sickness, disease, or the negativities of the ordinary life. As Jesus is above all things, so am I. The Holy Spirit has beautified my life. He brings colour into my life. I live a wonderful, colourful, beautiful, and productive life. I am vitalized, refreshed, renewed, and restored by the Holy Spirit daily. The Lord has brought me to a large place. I live in a land flowing with milk and honey. Every challenge is bread for me. I devour challenges, every target is bread for me. The Lord is with me and for me! The Lord delights in me, and He has given me an eternal testimony. Everywhere I go, testimonies and shouts of joy and victory abound all around me. I’m the expression of God’s fullness; He is my completeness. It makes no difference what challenges I face in life; there’s a force – an empowerment – at work in me to blaze through the barriers. I live in health, prosperity, and excellence. I have no lack in this life because all my needs are met in Christ Jesus. Satan has nothing in me because I

Rhapsody of Realities, November 3rd 2024.WATER BAPTISM AND THE HOLY COMMUNION

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come (1 Corinthians 11:26). There are those who ask if it is right to partake of the Holy Communion when you’re not water-baptized. First, in Christianity, we have sacraments like the Holy Communion and Water Baptism. In Mark 16:15-16, the Lord Jesus charged the disciples to spread the Gospel to every corner of the earth and to every person, emphasizing the importance of Water Baptism: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned” (Mark 16:16). In Matthew 28:19, He said, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.Then, in 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Paul shares an important revelation he received from the Lord. He recounts the events of the night the Lord Jesus was betrayed, highlighting the profound significance of the Holy Communion. In consequence, Water Baptism and the Holy Communion are not dependent on each other; you can partake in the Holy Communion even if you’ve not been baptized in water. The Bible doesn’t stipulate that you can only take the Holy Communion if you’ve been baptized in water.However, in many churches, the Communion is often reserved for those who are baptized members. There’s nothing wrong with this practice. The reason many follow this guideline is that baptism is viewed as a sign of one’s full belief and commitment to the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It signifies a complete acceptance of the Gospel.In the Early Church, during the great persecution, if individuals were asked about their faith and they denied it, their baptism was used as evidence of their true commitment to Christ, often leading to their persecution.Churches typically do not baptize non-believers. This is why many churches believe that true Christians should be baptized and therefore may only serve Communion to those who have been baptized. The practice is commendable and aligns with the church’s desire to honour the significance of baptism in the Christian faith. *CONFESSION* Dear Father, I recognize the significance of the Holy Communion and Water Baptism as symbols of my faith and commitment to you. Every opportunity to partake in the Holy Communion is my declaration of my victory over Satan, the world and its elements; a declaration that the Lord Jesus bequeathed His wealth, rights, and privileges to me, a will which is now in force. I have eternal victory and dominion over sin, sickness, disease, death and the devil, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. *FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 28:19-20* Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. *Acts 2:41-42* Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. *1 Corinthians 11:23-25* For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the [same] night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also [he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me. I live a life of faith. I’m not moved by what I feel, see, or hear. I am only moved by God’s Word. The presence of the Holy Ghost in my life gives strength to my spirit, soul, and body. I am replenished and built up by the Word. I walk in the full benefits of the salvation that Jesus Christ wrought for me, including health, peace, prosperity, and all-round success. Every day of my life is full of God’s glory, beauty, excellence, and grace. Every day God loads me with great benefits. In His favor my horn is exalted. I live above infirmities and the harsh elements of this world because the One who lives in me is greater than he that’s in this world. Nothing and no one can hurt or come against me successfully, for I have the unconquerable life of God. Satan and the powers of darkness are under my feet; therefore, I have nothing to fear. The impulses of fear have been completely disabled from my life. Irrespective of the situation, I’m bold and courageous, speaking the Word in faith. Everything connected to me is infused with eternal life and divine energy. Everything about me exudes the life of Christ; therefore, my health does not fail, rather, it is ever radiant and ever flourishing. There is no failure in my body systems; no heart failure, no kidney failure, no lung failure, no liver failure. All the organs and systems of my body are functioning perfectly well. There is perfect soundness in my body. I’m seated with Christ, far above all principality, power, might, dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come! I’m exalted with Him in glory; I know who I am: chosen, royal and peculiar! My life is the expression and manifestation of the glory and righteousness of Christ. Therefore, I am superhuman! I have the life of Christ at work in my spirit, soul, and body. I walk in supernatural strength, supernatural health, supernatural supply, and supernatural abilities every day. My progress is unstoppable because I cannot be limited by sickness,

Rhapsody of Realities, November 2rd 2024. THE DIVINE PERSPECTIVE

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD For God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, has made His light shine in our hearts, to reveal the knowledge of His glory in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6). What a profound truth this is! The same God who spoke light into being has illuminated our hearts. But why did He do this? The answer lies in the latter part of the verse: “…to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” This is truly powerful! If you’re a believer, Christ resides in you, and His purpose is to display and reflect God’s glory through your life. Your life is meant to daily reveal God’s glory. Many people base their lives on their emotions, circumstances, or others’ opinions. But as a child of God, you’re called to live by God’s knowledge. This knowledge provides a divine viewpoint—seeing and understanding life from God’s perspective, which is the ultimate Truth. How does God see your situation? What does He know and say about it? His words are the ultimate truth. So, live by the knowledge God has given, aligning yourself with His truth. When you do, you’ll experience His glory manifesting in your life. God has given us His Word and Spirit to understand His thoughts and ways. Therefore, live by this higher knowledge—God’s knowledge. When you realize that God’s light shines in your heart to give you this divine insight, you’ll recognize the extraordinary power within you to reveal His glory in every aspect of life. This divine knowledge transforms you, enabling you to live victoriously and reflect His glory to the world. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for illuminating my heart with your light, granting me the knowledge of your glory in Jesus Christ. I live by this divine insight, seeing life from your perspective, speaking your truth, and living by your Word regardless of circumstances, opinions, or external factors. I consistently display your glory in everything I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 1:27 God has revealed the riches of His glorious mystery among the Gentiles: Christ in you, the hope of glory. 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, He has granted us everything required for life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by His glory and excellence. Ephesians 1:17-18 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, so that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened to know the hope of His calling and the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints. DAILY AFFIRMATION Dear Father, I am deeply thankful for the gift of life and wellness. I choose to live fully in this truth, constantly walking in health and prosperity. Thank You for the divine power that supplies everything I need for life and godliness. I reject illness and anything that brings darkness or limitation. Sorrow and depression are far from me. Jesus is Lord over my life, so Satan holds no power over me or my loved ones. I live by faith in Jesus Christ, who loved me and gave Himself for me! I live boldly, knowing that I have transitioned from death to life. The resurrection life flows within me. I am dead to sin and its consequences. Sickness, disease, poverty, and depression have no hold on me because life reigns in me. I flourish greatly each day, in every place, and at all times. I walk in the awareness of my inheritance in Christ. My body is free from sickness, and I thrive in continual health. God’s goodness and mercy encircle me like a shield, making my life complete and joyful. God’s Word is my testimony; its truths fill my thoughts, and I live in the reality of His promises for my health. I am strong, energetic, and victorious as the Lord has made me, manifesting His plan for health. My understanding is enlightened; I see beyond the visible and am empowered for the impossible. My life aligns with God’s purpose, so I will never face illness. I continue moving from strength to strength, victory to victory, filled with joy, living in Christ’s grace and glory. In Christ, I have all I need for life and godliness. My body is perfected by the enduring Word of God, and I flourish in health and strength like never before. I choose and live the good life of divine health, abundance, joy, strength, and vitality. I can never be at a disadvantage because I am a child of the Most High. I manifest the excellence of the Spirit, and the life of God within me is greater than anything the enemy can bring, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Speak in tongues. Rhapsody of Realities, November 1st 2024, A SET-APART BREED

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people…(1 Peter 2:9). The term “chosen generation” comes from the Greek “Genos Eklekton,” meaning an elect or chosen race, breed, or stock. The word “chosen,” implies being separated or set apart. It’s the same root word from which we get “sanctified” or “sanctification.” So, 1 Peter 2:9 isn’t merely telling us that we’re a choice amongst many; rather, it emphasizes our unique, distinct lineage. You’re of a peculiar lineage; it’s got something to do with your birth, your nature! It’s like someone trying to select a particular stock of chickens; his aim isn’t just to select the best-looking chickens but a specific breed, a chosen breed. There’s something inherent in their nature that he wants. In the same way, you’re not like everyone else who was born naturally; you’ve been born again—born of the Spirit and born of the Word. This makes you a different stock, a different race, a set-apart breed. That’s what our opening scripture accentuates: your inherent peculiar nature. It’s about the breed—how you were born. Your ancestry is divine. Everywhere you go in this world, keep in mind that you’re one of a kind. You’re not like everybody else. You’re God’s choice. The Bible says He gave Himself for you, cleansed and purified you unto Himself to be His peculiar treasure, zealous of good works (Titus 2:14). Then James 1:18 says, “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” “Firstfruits” means the first and the best, the cream of the crop. My life is for the glory of God, and I experience His goodness and mercies today; my life is one of honour, excellence, praise, glory and thanksgiving to the Lord at all times. l’m in Christ and Christ is my life! His wisdom, righteousness, peace, glory and joy are expressed through me. Eternal life is at work in me. It makes me master over circumstances. I have dominion over the world’s deplorable systems. I have dominion over Satan. I am superior to sicknesses and diseases. I am superior to defeat and depravities that affect the natural man. I live above this world and its corrupting influences. My life is for the glory of God. I walk in supernatural strength, supernatural health, supernatural supply, and supernatural abilities every day. My progress is unstoppable because I cannot be limited by sickness, disease, or the negativities of the ordinary life. As Jesus is above all things, so am I. The Holy Spirit has beautified my life. He brings colour into my life. I live a wonderful, colourful, beautiful, and productive life. I rejoice because the Lord Jesus has overcome this world for me. I have been made more than a conqueror in this life. I live in the victory Christ provided me; therefore, I am not afraid of sickness, for I reign in life through Christ Jesus. There’s no death in my path! In my path are life, health, blessings, peace, and prosperity. I have the life of God in me. That life destroys sickness and death; therefore, I walk in health and wellness. I cannot be sick! Divinity works and flows from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. I thank the Lord for this great grace that I lavishly enjoy. God’s stamp and seal of perfection are on me, certifying my health, success, victory, effectiveness, and glory. Every day God loads me with great benefits. In His favour my horn is exalted. I am in sync with God’s plans and purposes for my life. There are no impossibilities with me. Eternity is alive in me. I live above infirmities and the harsh elements of this world because the One who lives in me is greater than he that’s in this world in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Speak in tongues

Bible Reference: Romans 3:24 – “Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” Devotional Message: We live in a world where most things come with a price tag—actions demand consequences, efforts yield rewards, and errors demand restitution. Yet, in the divine economy of God’s grace, something extraordinary happens: we are justified without cause. The Apostle Paul, in Romans 3:24, reveals a profound truth—our justification is freely given. It is not something we earned or deserved, but a gracious gift from God through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Justification means that God declares us righteous in His sight. This isn’t because of anything we did to merit it, but solely due to His unmerited favor. Think about it: despite our failings, sins, and imperfections, God looks at us and says, “You are righteous.” But why? The answer is grace. We are justified “freely by His grace.” Grace is God’s love and mercy in action. It is the foundation upon which our salvation stands. We didn’t work for it, and we surely didn’t earn it. It is freely given through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ, who paid the ultimate price for our sins. Reflection: When we embrace the truth that we are justified without cause, we find liberation from the constant striving to be good enough. The burden of self-righteousness is lifted, and we can live freely, knowing that God’s grace covers us. This revelation leads us into deeper gratitude and devotion, not out of obligation but from a heart transformed by His love. Prayer: Lord, thank You for justifying me freely by Your grace. Help me to always remember that it’s not my works but Your unmerited favor that has made me righteous. May I live in the light of this grace and share it with others. Amen.
