Court Orders Blord Remanded in Kuje Prison Over Alleged Impersonation of VeryDarkMan

A well-known Nigerian cryptocurrency businessman, Linus Williams Ifejirika, widely recognized as Blord, has been ordered into custody at the Kuje Correctional Centre following allegations of impersonating social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, popularly called VeryDarkMan.

The decision was made after his court appearance at the Federal High Court located in Abuja on Thursday, April 1, 2026. During the proceedings, the defendant was presented before the court to respond to multiple accusations, which reportedly include identity misrepresentation and document falsification.

Following the hearing, the court ruled that he should be remanded at the Kuje custodial facility pending further legal proceedings.

In a video circulating online that captured the moment Blord was escorted from the court premises to the correctional center, VeryDarkMan publicly addressed the development through his social media platform. He disclosed that Blord would remain in custody for a period of 26 days, a duration that coincides with the Easter celebration.

According to statements shared by VeryDarkMan, the allegations stem from claims that Blord falsely used his identity for promotional activities. He stated that Blord allegedly fabricated travel documents bearing his name and announced that he would be present in Onitsha for the launch of a digital platform.

Furthermore, he alleged that Blord publicly declared that a payment of ₦500 million had been made to secure him as a brand ambassador. He also accused him of falsely endorsing a digital payment application and producing large-scale promotional materials, including billboards and printed flyers, featuring his image without consent.

VeryDarkMan emphasized that all claims of endorsement, partnership, or agreement were entirely untrue and made without his approval.
