Serie A powerhouse AC Milan are reportedly preparing an ambitious move to secure the services of talented KRC Genk striker Tolu Arokodare ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window. Following what many considered a disappointing performance in the previous campaign, the Rossoneri are eager to overhaul their squad and restore their competitive edge in Italy and Europe.
According to a report published by Italian outlet Football Tuttosport, Milan’s sporting director, Igli Tare, is actively working on offloading Belgium international Divock Origi as part of a reshuffle in the forward line. Tare’s plan involves creating space for Arokodare to join the squad at San Siro, potentially giving the team a much-needed boost in attack.
The Nigerian international has been strongly linked with other top-tier European sides, including Bundesliga powerhouses Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, as well as Premier League giants Manchester United. These links underline just how highly rated Arokodare has become since bursting onto the scene.
If AC Milan can successfully bring Arokodare to San Siro, it would represent a significant statement of intent from the club’s new technical leadership under Allegri and Tare. With multiple European giants monitoring the Nigerian’s progress, Milan will likely need to move quickly to finalise a deal before rival suitors make their own offers.
