Rhapsody of Realities, November 8th 2024, HIS WORD—A GUIDING LIGHT

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light (Psalm 36:9). Some people allow past experiences or disappointments to shape their relationship with God, and that’s wrong. God’s Word is and must remain the foundation of your walk with Him. Your daily relationship with Him should be guided by His Word, not by what you have faced or what others say. His Word is the light that guides us every step of the way. Hallelujah! Remember the words of the psalmist, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). Those who ignore the Word grope in the dark and face so many calamities in life: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge… (Hosea 4:6). The Word of God is your life and your light; so never be casual or too familiar with the Word.Let the truths and realities of the Scriptures stir you up all the time. Love the Word. Hear the Word and acknowledge it; and then live the Word. That’s what you need to win every day. That’s what you need to walk in the supernatural every day. The Lord Jesus said in John 8:12, ..I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” How do you follow Him?You follow Him in the Word, through the Word, and by the Word. Then He says, when you follow Him, not only will you not walk in darkness, you’ll have the light of life. In other words, you’ll have answers; you’ll have solutions to life’s issues and problems. You’ll be a victor all the way. You’ll know exactly which way to go and what the direction for your life is. That’s what the Word gives you. Light gives direction. Light shows the way. God’s Word (His Light) illuminates your path to see, apprehend, and walk in the path God has preordained for you—His destiny for your life. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for your Word that is a guiding light in my life, illuminating my path as I fulfil my destiny in Christ, guided by your truth and wisdom. Thank you for granting me answers, solutions and the clarity I need to fulfil my purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. The love of God is shed abroad in my heart and I am manifesting this love, reaching out to my world with love. I refuse to allow anger, bitterness, and hatred to take its root in my heart. My life is the expression of the Father’s will; as I seek to do only those things that are honorable and pleasing to Him, my increase, progress, and prosperity are evident for all to see. I am in the centre of God’s will for my life and I am equipped with all things that pertain to life and godliness. I am filled with the fullness of God! The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yes, I have a goodly heritage. I do not struggle nor respond in fear because God had not given unto me the spirit of fear. I’m eternally victorious in Christ. I have power over crises; I’m prospering exceedingly, manifesting the righteousness and dominion of Christ everywhere. I live above, and far beyond the distracting elements of this world, because I live in Christ! My life is the testimony of God’s grace. I have been brought into a place of wealth untold. I am enjoying all that belongs to me in Christ. I live and walk in prosperity even as goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life. I carry blessings with me everywhere. Whatever projects that I am involved with prosper and are highly profitable. My life is exuberant with joy and I walk in the manifestations of God’s righteousness. I walk conscious of my heritage in Christ. Sickness has no place in my body. I thrive in health every day. God’s goodness and mercy surround me like a shield, and my life is perfect and pleasant. The life of God inundates every fiber of my being, making me impregnable to sickness and disease. From the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, eternal life is at work in me! I belong to Christ; therefore, I’m the seed of Abraham, graced for greatness and ordained to be fruitful and productive in every good work. My life is for the glory of God and I reign and rule by the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. I launch out today in faith, manifesting God’s goodness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen ?Speak in tongues.

Rhapsody of Realities, November 7th 2024, HE DELIGHTS IN FULFILLING YOUR DESIRES

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD …Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you…ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full (John 16:23-24). Observe what the Lord Jesus said in our opening scripture; He clarifies that we can ask the Father anything in His Name, and it will be granted. When you walk in love, your desires naturally align with His; therefore, you won’t ask for anything outside His will. He thus encourages us to ask and receive so that our joy may be full. What a blessed invitation! It shows the Father’s desire to bless us. Unlike earthly parents or others who may become weary of too many requests, God never grows weary of our many requests. He delights in answering us and fulfilling our desires.Therefore, when you ask, believe that you receive. Jesus did not say to ask and wait indefinitely; He said to ask and receive. This means from the moment you ask, start rejoicing and acting as though you already received because, in the spirit, it’s done.We often deal with disappointments from people who don’t keep their promises, but God is not like that. He is faithful, and He keeps His Word. Humans may fail, forget, or disappoint, but God never fails. 1 Peter 3:12 says, For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers Hallelujah!In Hebrews 13:5 (AMPC), the Bible says, For He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]. Ponder those words for a moment and be overwhelmed by the Father’s love and desire for you to live in fullness of joy, peace, confidence, dominion and victory every day. He delights in you and in fulfilling your desires. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for our privilege and authority in prayer, and my joy is made full. I refuse to doubt or waver because your Word is ever dependable, ever-sure and ever-trustworthy. Thank you for always hearing me and granting my petitions, for indeed, your Word is yes and amen, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. In him, I have access to all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Therefore, I have limitless wisdom. I am prudent. I have knowledge of witty inventions. I am skillful, proficient and knowledgeable. I devise the best solutions in every circumstance. I have discretion. Counsel is mine. I am full of sound wisdom. I have sound knowledge and understanding. I have strength, might, and power. I speak excellent and princely things. I have an understanding heart. The opening of my lips is for the right things. My words are all righteous. I speak the truth always. God has given me wisdom. There is nothing beyond me. There is nothing I cannot handle. I have a wise and discerning heart. Christ is my excellent wisdom. I live in health, prosperity, and excellence. I have no lack in this life because all my needs are met in Christ Jesus. Satan has nothing in me because I am full of the Spirit at all times. I have a wholesome tongue; my words are sculpted in line with God’s perfect will and direction for my life. I walk in divine health, prosperity, victory, success, and financial abundance. I am enjoying all that belongs to me in Christ. Lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places and I have a goodly heritage. I live and walk in prosperity even as goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life. I carry blessings with me everywhere. Whatever projects that I am involved with prosper and are highly profitable. I rejoice because the Lord Jesus has overcome this world for me. I have been made more than a conqueror in this life. I live in the victory Christ provided me; therefore, I am not afraid of sickness, for I reign in life through Christ Jesus. There’s no death in my path! In my path are life, health, blessings, peace, and prosperity. The glory of God is beaming out of me with intensity. The Lord is my beauty. He is my sweet attractiveness. I am divinely enabled to see, think, say and, to do things that ordinary men cannot do. I am sagacious. I have an extraordinary amplitude of comprehension. I am a wonder and surprise to many. The Lord has magnified me. He has increased my greatness. I have divine access to wealth untold in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Amen. Speak in tongues.

Rhapsody of Realities, November 5th 2024,THE AUTHORITY OF HIS NAME

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it (John 14:13-14). Notice carefully that the Lord Jesus didn’t say, “Whatsoever you shall ask me in my name, that will I do. Rather, He said, Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name there’s a crucial difference here. You can’t ask Jesus something in the Name of Jesus. Often, people pray without thinking about their words. Many pray to the Lord Jesus and end the prayer with in the Name of Jesus. This is not correct. This is a prayer without understanding, and some pray this way without seeing results because they approach prayer with a religious mindset, not with the understanding of what Jesus taught. When Jesus said, “Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name”, He meant that whenever you make a demand or declare something in His Name, He will make it happen. It’s about exercising the authority that His Name represents. In Acts 3, we see a practical demonstration of this by Peter and John when they encountered a beggar who had been lame from birth. In verse 6, Peter said to him, …Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. Peter didn’t pray to Jesus. He spoke to the man in the authority of the Name of Jesus. Peter then took the man by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately, the man’s feet and ankle bones received strength. He jumped up, stood, and began walking, leaping, and praising God. Hallelujah! Afterwards, Peter explained and said to the people: And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all (Acts 3:16). Peter and John were demonstrating exactly what Jesus taught in John 14:13-14. They used the authority of Jesus’ Name to perform miracles, signs, and wonders.When you speak in His Name, Heaven responds; miracles happen. His Name carries the same power and authority of His person. So, when you use it, you invoke His presence and direct His glory to the situation you’re dealing with. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus to effect changes. I exercise that authority to establish your will in the earth and in the lives of men. I pray today, that people everywhere will experience the goodness of God, for indeed the whole earth is filled with your goodness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Acts 3:12-16 And when Peter saw [it], he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? 13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let [him] go. 14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; 15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. Philippians 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; 11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Mark 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. DAILY AFFIRMATION I’m more than a conqueror! I have been translated from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of light. Diseases and infirmities are not a part of my life in the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. I recognize the efficacy of God’s Word that works in me today. I have and enjoy perfect health, victory, success, and prosperity now and always. My body and everything connected to me align with God’s provisions. Christ’s glory manifests in my body as I flourish in divine health daily. I believe God’s Word for me. I speak it because it is my life. The glory and blessings therein are evident in my life. I speak the same things God has said concerning me. I proclaim wellness, wholeness, and life to my body today. Everything connected to me is infused with eternal life and divine energy. Everything about me exudes the life of Christ; therefore, my health does not fail, rather, it is ever radiant and ever flourishing. There is no failure in my body systems; no heart failure, no kidney failure, no lung failure, no liver failure. All the organs and systems of my body, my heart, kidneys, lungs, brain, liver, skin, blood vessels and all others are functioning perfectly. There is perfect soundness in my body. I am an associate of the God-kind, recreated into the image and likeness of the Son of God! I function from the place of advantage, victory, dominion and power. I am guided and propelled by God’s divine wisdom to do

Rhapsody of Realities, November 4th 2024, WORKS OF LOVE THROUGH US

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it (John 14:12-14). What a profound statement the Lord Jesus made in the verses above. He said, “…He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do….” He meant the works of love He continues to do by the Spirit through us because we’re the extension of His ministry. As the prophet Isaiah said, “…he shall see His seed, he shall prolong his days…” (Isaiah 53:10). He’s prolonging His days and continuing His ministry through us. This is so amazing. Always remember that you’re not alone; Christ is at work in you. Look closely at verse 14 of the opening verse: “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” Did you notice there’s no special clause here? There’s no conditions or exceptions; He said anything. Most people have never truly understood this enough to take advantage of it. The Lord Jesus said exactly what He meant and meant exactly what He said. Anything you ask in His Name is yours. Glory be to God! In John 16:23, He tells us more about the day of the Church: “And in that day ye shall ask me nothing….” At first glance, this may seem like a contradiction of what we read earlier in chapter 14. But if you go back to chapter 14 and read from verse 12, you’ll notice what He’s talking about. He said, “…He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” The “greater works” are possible because Jesus has ascended to the Father and sent the Holy Spirit to empower us and impact the world with His love, power, and presence. We’re not limited. He has equipped us to do the same works that He did. This isn’t just about performing miracles; it’s about revealing the love and glory of God through our lives, just as Jesus did. PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the privilege of doing the works of Jesus and even greater works through the power of your Spirit in me. I declare that I am a vessel of your love, power and glory, manifesting your presence in every situation. Thank you for the confidence and boldness to ask anything in the Name of Jesus, knowing that you will do it. I rejoice and rest in the assurance of your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. DAILY AFFIRMATION: Thank You precious Father, for the provisions of the Gospel; I’m confident in all that You’ve done, and I take my place of dominion, reigning and ruling with You, for I know You’ve made all things mine. I’m what you say I am; I have all you say I have; and I can do all things in the Name of the Lord Jesus. I’m rich in all things because I’m a joint heir with Christ. I thank You Lord, for setting me apart as Your peculiar treasure, unique and special, born of the Spirit and the Word. Everywhere I go, I manifest Your virtues and perfection, living out my divine purpose. I am immune to every form of toxin, poison, or venom. I walk in the reality of who I am in Christ, a new creation with God’s indestructible and “uninfectable” life. My progress is unstoppable because I cannot be limited by sickness, disease, or the negativities of the ordinary life. As Jesus is above all things, so am I. The Holy Spirit has beautified my life. He brings colour into my life. I live a wonderful, colourful, beautiful, and productive life. I am vitalized, refreshed, renewed, and restored by the Holy Spirit daily. The Lord has brought me to a large place. I live in a land flowing with milk and honey. Every challenge is bread for me. I devour challenges, every target is bread for me. The Lord is with me and for me! The Lord delights in me, and He has given me an eternal testimony. Everywhere I go, testimonies and shouts of joy and victory abound all around me. I’m the expression of God’s fullness; He is my completeness. It makes no difference what challenges I face in life; there’s a force – an empowerment – at work in me to blaze through the barriers. I live in health, prosperity, and excellence. I have no lack in this life because all my needs are met in Christ Jesus. Satan has nothing in me because I

Rhapsody of Realities, November 1st 2024, A SET-APART BREED

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people…(1 Peter 2:9). The term “chosen generation” comes from the Greek “Genos Eklekton,” meaning an elect or chosen race, breed, or stock. The word “chosen,” implies being separated or set apart. It’s the same root word from which we get “sanctified” or “sanctification.” So, 1 Peter 2:9 isn’t merely telling us that we’re a choice amongst many; rather, it emphasizes our unique, distinct lineage. You’re of a peculiar lineage; it’s got something to do with your birth, your nature! It’s like someone trying to select a particular stock of chickens; his aim isn’t just to select the best-looking chickens but a specific breed, a chosen breed. There’s something inherent in their nature that he wants. In the same way, you’re not like everyone else who was born naturally; you’ve been born again—born of the Spirit and born of the Word. This makes you a different stock, a different race, a set-apart breed. That’s what our opening scripture accentuates: your inherent peculiar nature. It’s about the breed—how you were born. Your ancestry is divine. Everywhere you go in this world, keep in mind that you’re one of a kind. You’re not like everybody else. You’re God’s choice. The Bible says He gave Himself for you, cleansed and purified you unto Himself to be His peculiar treasure, zealous of good works (Titus 2:14). Then James 1:18 says, “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” “Firstfruits” means the first and the best, the cream of the crop. That’s who you are. Blessed be God! PRAYERDear Father, I thank you for setting me apart as your peculiar treasure, unique and special, born of the Spirit and the Word. Everywhere I go, I manifest your virtues and perfection, living out my divine purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. My life is for the glory of God, and I experience His goodness and mercies today; my life is one of honour, excellence, praise, glory and thanksgiving to the Lord at all times. l’m in Christ and Christ is my life! His wisdom, righteousness, peace, glory and joy are expressed through me. Eternal life is at work in me. It makes me master over circumstances. I have dominion over the world’s deplorable systems. I have dominion over Satan. I am superior to sicknesses and diseases. I am superior to defeat and depravities that affect the natural man. I live above this world and its corrupting influences. My life is for the glory of God. I walk in supernatural strength, supernatural health, supernatural supply, and supernatural abilities every day. My progress is unstoppable because I cannot be limited by sickness, disease, or the negativities of the ordinary life. As Jesus is above all things, so am I. The Holy Spirit has beautified my life. He brings colour into my life. I live a wonderful, colourful, beautiful, and productive life. I rejoice because the Lord Jesus has overcome this world for me. That life destroys sickness and death; therefore, I walk in health and wellness. I cannot be sick! Divinity works and flows from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. I thank the Lord for this great grace that I lavishly enjoy. God’s stamp and seal of perfection are on me, certifying my health, success, victory, effectiveness, and glory. Every day God loads me with great benefits. In His favour my horn is exalted. I am in sync with God’s plans and purposes for my life. There are no impossibilities with me. Eternity is alive in me. I live above infirmities and the harsh elements of this world because the One who lives in me is greater than he that’s in this world in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Speak in tongues
