During a recent visit to Doha, Ukraine and Qatar formalized a defence cooperation agreement, marking another milestone in Kyiv’s efforts to build international security partnerships. Strategic Collaboration with the UAE During his visit to the UAE, Zelenskyy met with President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to explore further defence cooperation. Ukrainian specialists are already operating within the Emirates, working on strengthening airspace protection and safeguarding critical infrastructure. According to Zelenskyy, there is a clear pathway for integrating Ukraine’s defence strategies into the UAE’s security framework. These solutions are based on real-world experience and have proven effective under sustained conflict conditions. Saudi Arabia Agreement and Regional Momentum Earlier in the week, Ukraine confirmed the signing of a defence cooperation document with Saudi Arabia during Zelenskyy’s visit to Jeddah.
