Businessman and socialite Pascal Okechukwu—famously known as Cubana Chief Priest—recently revealed that during the early days of Burna Boy’s career, he often provided the now Grammy-winning artist with accommodation. Speaking during a livestream with TikTok influencer Peller at his mansion in Owerri, Imo State, he emphasized that numerous celebrities had stayed with him, underscoring, “CP no small.” He recounted that Burna Boy used to stay at his place for several days at a time. Pointing to his long-standing establishment in the nightlife and hospitality industry, Cubana Chief Priest boasted, “Money na water! I have been doing this business for a long time.” He also mused rhetorically about Burna’s ascent to greatness: “Giant Of Africa no be person go bring am up?” In essence, he highlighted his role in supporting talent during their nascent stages—even when they were not yet household names—underscoring both generosity and pride in his contributions to their journey.
