Nigeria’s current security situation has drawn strong criticism from Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Senator, Ireti Kingibe, who expressed deep concern over the worsening conditions affecting citizens across the nation. According to her, the hardship Nigerians are currently facing has reached an alarming peak. She emphasized that the increasing instability is not limited to physical safety alone but extends into economic and social aspects of everyday life. Food scarcity, she noted, has become more intense than ever before, making survival increasingly difficult for many households. In her remarks, Kingibe also acknowledged the growing formation of opposition alliances, stating that she finds it encouraging when such collaborations are driven by genuine national interest rather than personal or political gain.
