Popular Nigerian artist, John Ighodaro, better known by his stage name Johnny Drille, has spoken candidly about his experience with fatherhood and how it reshaped his view of family. LMSINT MEDIA previously reported that Johnny Drille and his wife, Rima Tahini, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Amaris Esohe Ighodaro, on November 17, 2023. In a recent interview shared by Dose Of Society, the Mavin Records singer revealed that becoming a father has deepened his respect and admiration for his own parents. Johnny described parenthood as a transformative journey, stating: “The one rule I live by is family first. No matter where I am or what I’m doing, if my family needs me, I would drop everything. That’s my priority.” Reflecting on his upbringing, he emphasized the unwavering role his family has played throughout his life: “Family has always been my foundation. Whenever the world feels too heavy, I turn to my family, and I always find relief. My parents, especially, have stood by me. My biggest ambition is to care for them and give them the chance to explore the world.” He recalled the difficult times his family endured, sharing: “We didn’t have much. I remember seasons when there was barely enough food, but my parents always found a way to make ends meet. They made life enjoyable for us, even during hardships. What seemed like fun as a child, I now realize was their way of protecting us from the harsh reality.” Speaking about the shift that came with fatherhood, he noted: “Now that I have a daughter, I understand what it truly means to care for someone. I now see the depth of sacrifices my parents made. Raising a child completely changes you, in ways that are often not talked about enough.” He concluded by expressing heartfelt gratitude: “I’m thankful for having parents who raised me with love and care, especially in a challenging world. They gave me the tools to face life.” Related News:Learn more about parenting psychology from the American Psychological Association.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is the essence, the title deed of things hoped for. Hope is usually in the future; it is something you look forward to, something you desire that’s not yet realized. It’s a picture of the future or an image of a desired outcome, accomplishment, possession, or fulfilment. So, hope is important as it precedes faith. Faith, on the other hand, is the essence of hope. Hope is foundational for faith to operate. Without hope, faith has no substance, no life. The Bible tells us that these three abide: faith, hope, and love (1 Corinthians 13:13). While it emphasizes that love is the greatest, it also shows the indispensable nature of all three. These elements—faith, hope, and love—are unique to us as part of our God-given nature. Hope is critical because it sustains us, keeping us connected to the future. It is the picture, the image that faith gives substance to. When you can see it in hope, faith makes it real. The relationship between faith and hope is beautifully illustrated through the concept of wave-particle duality in quantum physics. Experiments in quantum mechanics reveal that subatomic particles, when unobserved, exist as waves. However, when observed, the wave collapses into a particle, forming matter. This phenomenon parallels the operation of faith and hope. Hope is the potential energy—the wave, the possibility. When you focus on it, when you observe it through faith, it collapses into matter. It becomes real. The Bible already explained this reality. It shows us that hope must precede faith. Hope provides the picture, and faith transforms that potential into a tangible reality. Without hope, faith has nothing to act upon. When you have hope, you possess the possibility of what can be realized and faith activates it, turning that which was hitherto intangible into substance. PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the three creative elements: faith, hope, and love. I set my heart on the vision of your Word, stirring hope in my heart for a greater and brighter future; my faith is alive and active; it brings every possibility to reality. My faith is active, producing results and materializing every promise in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, has shed light on why President Bola Tinubu received a special invitation to Rome from Pope Leo XIV. According to LMSINT MEDIA, President Tinubu departed Abuja for Rome on Saturday, honoring a personal invitation from Pope Leo XIV, the current leader of the Roman Catholic Church. President Tinubu’s visit coincides with the inaugural mass celebrating the beginning of Pope Leo XIV’s Papacy as the 267th Bishop of Rome. He was accompanied by top figures in Nigeria’s Catholic community. The formal invitation, issued by Cardinal Pietro Parolin, emphasized the need for Tinubu’s presence at this significant religious ceremony. LMSINT MEDIA also reported that prior to becoming widely recognized at the Vatican, Pope Leo XIV — formerly known as Robert Prevost — served as Prior General of the Augustinian Order from 2001 to 2013 and had visited Nigeria on nine occasions. Even after concluding his role as Prior General, Prevost maintained a strong relationship with Nigeria. Notably, in 2016, while he was Bishop of Chiclayo in Peru, he was invited to Abuja for the Mid-Chapter Assembly of the Nigerian Augustinian Order. Before his elevation to the Papacy, Cardinal Prevost had plans to return to Nigeria in July for the ordination of new priests within the Augustinian community. Bianca Ojukwu, who appeared live on NTA Weekend File from Rome shortly after Tinubu arrived, explained that the Pope’s long-standing relationship with Nigeria significantly influenced the decision to invite President Tinubu in person. She highlighted Pope Leo XIV’s familiarity with Nigeria, noting that he has firsthand knowledge of the streets and chapels in cities like Abuja and Maiduguri. Additionally, she emphasized Nigeria’s position as one of the fastest-growing Catholic populations globally. Discussing the potential diplomatic value of the Papal invitation, Ojukwu stated that Pope Leo XIV’s relationship with Nigeria could strengthen ties between the Vatican and the West African country. “As the spiritual leader of over 1.4 billion Catholics globally, Pope Leo XIV acknowledges the turbulence in today’s world,” she said. “His leadership can contribute to a new world order rooted in peace and stability — something Nigeria’s Catholic population deeply values.” Ojukwu also appreciated the recognition Nigeria received from the Papacy, highlighting its role as Africa’s most populous country and an influential player in promoting peace and religious harmony. She further remarked on the symbolic importance of President Tinubu — a Muslim — attending a Catholic mass, indicating his inclusive leadership style. “It’s quite telling that despite being a Muslim, the President accepted the invitation to participate in the Pontifical mass. It reflects his commitment to unity and his role as a leader for all Nigerians, regardless of faith,” she concluded. Among those who traveled with Tinubu were Archbishop Lucius Ugorji of Owerri, President of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria; Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama of Abuja; Archbishop Alfred Martins of Lagos; and Bishop Matthew Kukah of the Sokoto Diocese. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one (John 17:22). John 17 recounts the beautiful prayer of the Lord Jesus, a profound and intimate moment that marked the culmination of His farewell discourse to His disciples, just before His arrest and crucifixion. In those precious words, the Lord Jesus spoke to the Father with deep love for His disciples, desiring their protection, unity, and sanctification. Part of His endearing and amazing words is what we read in our opening scripture. He said, “And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them….” How extraordinary this is! He gave us His glory. Blessed be God! Many Christians pray, “Oh God, we will not take your glory.” Though this sounds religious, it’s unnecessary and incongruous with His truth. The glory that Jesus received from the Father, He has given to us. Jesus Himself said it, and this glory is ours to walk in. Think about what this glory represents. In the Old Testament, the garment of the priest symbolized glory and righteousness. It was known as the robe of righteousness, and Jesus has clothed us with that very glory. Hallelujah! Part of walking in God’s glory is walking in His divine provisions. To live in lack, sickness, poverty, or sin is not glorious. You’re called to walk in victory, in abundance, and in divine health. You’re called to reign in life. Walk in this consciousness every day, and you’ll see the manifestation of His power and abundance in your life. Refuse to settle for less than what God has already provided for you. You’re a prince of power with God; called, sanctified, justified, and glorified. Therefore, manifest His glory everywhere: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9). PRAYERRighteous Father, thank you for the glory you’ve given me in Jesus Christ. I’m endued with this glory, and I live above lack, sickness, and fear. Renowned American R&B artist, Chris Brown, has been remanded in custody by the Manchester Magistrates’ Court over allegations of assault. The incident unfolded on Friday, where presiding judge Joanne Hirst denied bail to the singer, ordering that he remain in custody. Justice Hirst noted that the seriousness of the case places it outside the jurisdiction of the Magistrates’ Court, prompting the transfer of the matter to Southwark Crown Court in London. The upcoming court session has been scheduled for June 13, 2025, following the adjournment of the initial hearing. According to a report by LMSINT MEDIA, Brown was taken into custody on Thursday at The Lowry Hotel in Salford. His arrest stems from a reported bottle attack that allegedly occurred at Tape nightclub in Mayfair during 2023. The singer faces charges of grievous bodily harm, after claims emerged that he struck music executive Abe Diaw with a bottle during the nightclub altercation. As a result of the incident, Diaw filed a civil suit seeking $16 million in compensation for the injuries and associated damages he claims to have suffered. Princess Opeyemi Bright has made history as she officially assumes office as the youngest serving Mayor in the United Kingdom. At just 29, she now holds the esteemed title of First Citizen of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Her official inauguration took place on Friday, May 16, 2025, marking a significant milestone in British politics. Born in the United Kingdom to Nigerian parents, Princess Bright’s appointment has been met with widespread celebration as a shining example of diverse representation, youth leadership, and the growing global presence of the Nigerian diaspora. “This is nothing short of God’s grace,” she expressed during her inauguration ceremony. “I am honoured to serve this borough, and as a proud Nigerian, I will uphold my heritage with grace and excellence. I hope this journey encourages others to step forward, lead, and make a difference.” Her political journey began at age 22 when she was first elected as a councillor. Since then, over the past seven years, Princess Bright has earned recognition as a dedicated voice for youth development, social inclusion, and economic accessibility. Her rise to the mayoralty is notably inspired by her mother, Dr. Councillor Afolasade Bright, who previously served as Civic Mayor of Hackney between 2006 and 2007. Additionally, her father, Pastor Gbolahan Bright, MBE, is a respected clergyman affiliated with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, further rooting her leadership within a legacy of service. Princess Bright’s achievement is viewed as part of a larger wave of Nigerian trailblazers shaping politics across the globe. Figures such as Kemi Badenoch, the UK’s Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Chi Onwurah, Labour MP, Uzoma Asagwara in Canada, and Esther Agbaje in the U.S. exemplify how Nigerians abroad are transforming political landscapes and dismantling stereotypes. Her elevation to this leadership role also counters the prevailing belief that young people are detached from governance. It reinforces the impact young leaders — especially women — can have in shaping communities and influencing change. Experts suggest her achievement could offer valuable insights for Nigerian policymakers, especially in terms of engaging the diaspora and supporting young leaders through strategic development programs. Princess Bright’s historic accomplishment goes far beyond personal success. It stands as a symbol of hope and empowerment for young Nigerians worldwide. Related News:

Akinwande stated, “The firefighting team, under the leadership of ACFS Adedeji (Mrs.), responded swiftly to the scene. “Upon arrival, it was discovered that a private residential structure—a three-bedroom flat—was already engulfed in flames. “Our team acted quickly to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. Manchester United icon, Paul Scholes, has publicly disagreed with former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson over recent remarks suggesting that Manchester United should organize a victory parade if they clinch the UEFA Europa League title this season. Scholes criticized the notion, describing it as inappropriate and humiliating given the Red Devils’ underwhelming performance in the English Premier League throughout the current campaign. Earlier, Merson made headlines on Sky Sports, asserting that it would be arrogant of Manchester United not to plan a celebratory event in the event of their Europa League triumph. “Trophies don’t come frequently. Manchester United are far behind where they should be. Enjoy the wins while they last. Not having a parade feels like arrogance. I would definitely want one,” Merson stated. In a counter-opinion published in his TNT Sports column, Scholes sharply disagreed: “There’s absolutely no justification for organizing a parade just for winning the Europa League. It would honestly be quite embarrassing.” The former midfielder emphasized that the real reward for lifting the Europa League title lies in the automatic qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League, which would not only improve the club’s financial situation but also enhance their ability to attract top-tier talent during the summer transfer window. Manchester United are set to face Tottenham Hotspur in what is expected to be a high-stakes Europa League final showdown this Wednesday. Related Post:
Why Passive Income Matters More Than Ever in Nigeria Let’s keep it real. 2025 has not made life easier for most Nigerians. Inflation is biting harder, the Naira is still unstable, and the job market can’t keep up with the youth population. Yet, some Nigerians are quietly securing the bag—and they’re not stressing over 9-5 jobs. How? They’re tapping into smart passive income ideas. Passive income is money earned on autopilot. Once you set up the system, it keeps generating income with little or no daily effort. And no, we’re not talking about Ponzi schemes or fake investment platforms. We’re talking real, working strategies backed by smart Nigerians using tech, skills, and platforms that pay. Here are the most powerful and sustainable passive income ideas Nigerians are using in 2025—and how you can start. 1. Monetizing Educational Content on YouTube With data costs dropping and smartphone usage skyrocketing, Nigerians are cashing out by teaching what they know on YouTube. It doesn’t have to be flashy. Some of the top creators in Nigeria make bank simply by teaching: Once a channel gets monetized (1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours), every video becomes an asset. ? Example: See how Nigerian YouTuber CodeWithMosh turned tutorials into a 7-figure empire. Learn how to start a profitable YouTube channel in Nigeria → (insert your internal article link here) 2. Selling Digital Products on Selar and Paystack Forget about importing physical goods. Nigerians are now selling: The best part? You only create the product once. After that, it sells itself—especially when promoted with Instagram reels, WhatsApp status, or TikTok. ? Pro Tip: Use Canva to design e-books and templates for free. 3. Affiliate Marketing Through Blogs and WhatsApp Affiliate marketing is simple: promote other people’s products and earn a commission when someone buys. Top Nigerian affiliates are promoting: If you don’t have a blog, no stress. WhatsApp broadcast, Facebook groups, and even TikTok can drive sales. ✅ External Reference: Learn how affiliate marketing works from Neil Patel 4. Investing in Dollar-Based Crowdfunded Real Estate This is where smart money lives. Platforms like Risevest, Coreum, and Bamboo now allow Nigerians to invest in fractional real estate with as little as ₦5,000. The properties are often in the US or UK. You earn rent and capital appreciation in dollars, making it a hedge against Naira depreciation. ? Recommended Platform: Risevest – SEC-regulated, pays in dollars. 5. Earning Royalties from Audiobooks and Music Are you a writer, speaker, or musician? Platforms like Audible, Spotify, and Boomplay let Nigerians upload content and earn royalties over time. Even short stories or devotional books can be turned into audio. Once uploaded, it earns forever. ? Example: Convert your eBook to audio using tools like Speechify 6. Building Niche Websites that Rank on Google Nigerians are now building hyper-specific websites like: These sites earn passively through Google AdSense, affiliate links, and sponsored posts. Once built and ranked, they can generate income 24/7. ? Tool Tip: Use Rank Math SEO to make your WordPress blog optimized out of the box. 7. Dropshipping with Local Fulfillment Dropshipping is not dead. It’s just smarter in 2025. Instead of importing from China, Nigerians now partner with local vendors, set up Instagram shops, and fulfill orders via dispatch riders. Popular niches: skincare, perfumes, customized mugs, fashion accessories. Final Thoughts: It’s Time to Work Smarter, Not Harder The Nigerian economy in 2025 doesn’t favor those who rely on one income stream. These passive income ideas are not get-rich-quick schemes. They require setup, smart execution, and consistency. But once they start working, the freedom is real. Don’t just hustle—build systems that make money while you sleep.
