Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf Appoints New Commissioners and Permanent Secretaries

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State officially appointed seven commissioners and six permanent secretaries on Monday, as part of his ongoing efforts to promote effective governance across the state. During the swearing-in ceremony at the Government House in Kano, the governor also inaugurated 13 Special Advisers, emphasizing the importance of quality leadership and public service. New Commissioners and Their Portfolios The newly appointed commissioners and their respective portfolios include: Governor’s Charge to the Appointees Governor Yusuf urged the newly appointed officials to demonstrate unwavering dedication and professionalism in their roles. He highlighted that the appointments were made after a thorough selection process to ensure the chosen individuals would contribute meaningfully to good governance. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure, education, healthcare, women and youth empowerment, water supply, and agricultural development.
