Rhapsody of Realities December 17th 2024. ONENESS WITH HIM

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). When the Bible says “Christ in you,” what does it mean? “Christ in you” means Christ literally dwells in you. You’re His house; He lives in you, walks in you, and talks through you through the Holy Spirit. The Bible says, “For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones” (Ephesians 5:30). You’re His feet, and you’re His hands. You’re the limbs of Christ: “Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ…” (1 Corinthians 6:15). As a Christian, you’re inseparably one with Christ; you’re fused as one with Him. Remember His words in John 14:20, “…I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.” Hallelujah! In 2 Corinthians 3:5, Paul wrote about his experience of the Gospel as inspired by the Holy Spirit. He said, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.” Here was a man writing about his life, and he says, “My sufficiency is of God.” The same is true about you. In his letter to the Philippians, he said, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13). How could he have such a mentality? It’s because he understood the meaning of “Christ in you.” He knew he was no longer ordinary; he had become one with Christ, which means oneness with deity. The Word declares in 1 Corinthians 6:17, _”But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” You’re one with the Lord; therefore, every so often, boldly declare: “My sufficiency is of God!” That means the ability of God is working in and through you; that’s the reason you’re invincible, ever prosperous, fruitful and productive. Rhapsody of Realities December 15th 2024. WE LIVE TO PRAISE

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright (Psalm 33:1). The Bible says, “Praise is comely for the upright.” This is wonderful. It means that praise is consistent with, or befitting to, the custom of our Kingdom. We live to praise. No wonder the Bible says, “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Now, “Praise is comely” also means that praise is beautiful. The New King James Version says, “Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful.” In fact, The Passion Translation says, “…Praise him with all you have, for praise looks lovely on the lips of God’s lovers.” This means that God loves to receive our praise. When we praise Him, we actually position ourselves where we ought to be as a people of praise: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9). We’re called to show forth His praise. The meaning of praise according to the Scriptures is the offering of thanks through our lips: “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name” (Hebrews 13:15). That means we see His goodness in the things that happen in and around us, and in our world, and for that we praise Him lavishly. God intended that our whole life would be full of praise. You were created for His praise. When we express our praise to Him, sometimes it’s with deep emotions, and at other times it’s with an effulgence of joy that others may not see. But God sees it all; we do these in the light of the Spirit and in the place of His holiness. In such an atmosphere of praise, you’re conscious of His love because in His presence is fullness of joy, and at His right hand are pleasures evermore (Psalm 16:11). Hallelujah! Moment of Worship: https://loveworldlyrics.com/forever-lord-you-reign-by-pastor-saki-ippc-2022/ PRAYERHeavenly Father, I worship and adore you for your great love, your faithfulness, kindness and tender mercies. Rhapsody of Realities 22nd November 2024. SUPERIOR TO ANGELS

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life (1 Corinthians 6:3). This scripture indicates that Christians will indeed judge angels. We will be seated together with Christ on thrones, and we shall judge the world and judge angels according to the Scriptures. Does this imply that Christians are superior to God’s angels? Yes, and our superiority is the result of our identity, our oneness with Christ. We’re joint heirs with Christ, born of the Spirit of God. Unlike the angels who are servants of God, we’re God’s children: “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs–heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ…” (Romans 8:16-17 NKJV). The Bible says, “…the servant abideth not in the house forever: but the Son abideth ever” (John 8:35). And 1 John 3:2 says, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God…,” we have the rights and privileges of sonship. We’re one with Christ, and He has given us His authority; we live and function in His Name. Some have asked for clarification with reference to Matthew 22:30 which indicates that at the resurrection we would be as angels. You have to understand the context: it says, “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.” Here, Jesus was responding to a question about marriage after resurrection, but He clarified that in the resurrection, we won’t be bound by earthly institutions like marriage. Instead, we will be like the angels, without gender, and will not engage in marriage. This doesn’t mean we will “drop” in rank to the status of angels but that we’ll transcend earthly distinctions. In the resurrection, we’ll be like God, who is neither male nor female. Presently, the angels are sent to serve us: “But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation” (Hebrews 1:13-14). PRAYERDear Father, I thank you for making me a joint heir with Christ, seated in heavenly places with Him, living and walking in the authority in His Name. I walk in the consciousness of my divine nature and live victoriously, reigning in life through Christ. Thank you for my divine oneness with you, my position, authority and inheritance in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY:|| 1 John 3:1-2Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. || || Romans 8:16-17 NIVThe Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. || || Ephesians 2:4-6But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus: || READ ALSO: Daily Affirmations: I am the apple of God’s eye; no evil will befall me, neither shall any plague come near my dwelling.
