A massive fire outbreak has destroyed properties worth millions of naira at the Araromi Spare Parts Market, situated at Agodi-Gate in Ibadan, Oyo State. According to reports from Naija News, the fire started at approximately 2 a.m. on Saturday and has yet to be completely extinguished. Firefighters are working tirelessly to contain the flames. The General Manager of Oyo State Fire Services, Akinyemi Akinyinka, confirmed the incident, stating:“We are battling a serious inferno at Agodi-Gate. Please call on water tanker owners to assist us. The situation remains challenging.” As of now, the cause of the fire remains unknown, but investigations are ongoing to determine the source. A devastating fire broke out at Christ Apostolic Church in Wisdom Estate, Ibadan, Oyo State, on Friday night, trapping several worshippers during the vigil. The blaze began at approximately 9:30 PM along Olohunda Road in Lagelu Local Government Area. Eyewitnesses shared that some worshippers had already fallen asleep in preparation for the vigil when the fire ignited. One witness recalled, “Some people had already slept off when the fire started.” Another onlooker described the chaos, stating, “An elderly woman, unable to walk, was still inside the church when the fire raged.” The Oyo State Fire Services were quickly alerted and arrived at the scene.
