Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him…(John 6:44). The Lord Jesus explained that God draws individuals through His Word and His message: “It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me” (John 6:45). When people hear the message and respond in faith, they’re drawn to Jesus because “…faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). This means for someone to come to Christ, they first need to hear the message of the Gospel (Romans 10:14). This underscores the importance of our individual responsibility in preaching and sharing the Gospel because it is through this proclamation that God draws people to Himself. So, more than ever before, preach the Gospel with conviction. In Romans 1:16-17, Paul’s conviction is palpable as he asserts that the Gospel is the definitive power of God for salvation. No wonder he preached it boldly, covering whole regions and territories with the Gospel, even at the peril of his life. He said in Romans 15:19, “…from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.” His valedictory remarks to the Christians at Ephesus, just before he rounded off his ministry, will provoke your faith for the Gospel and literally make you weep in intercession for souls. Read the entire portion in Acts 20:18-27. Paul knew that there are no alternatives; the Gospel is the singular pathway to salvation for all who believe. Therefore, like Paul, be resolute and absolute in your commitment to proclaiming the Gospel. Refuse to stay silent in your workplace, in the marketplace, and in your community. Consider the divine connections and opportunities God orchestrates in your life—the people you meet, the places you go—they’re not just for your personal gain but opportunities to share the message of salvation. Proclaim Christ to everyone you meet, recognizing that God networks us primarily to fulfil His eternal purpose of drawing people to Himself through us. Hallelujah! PRAYERDear Father, I recognize that it is through the proclamation of your Word that you draw people unto yourself. I walk in boldness and clarity as I share the message of salvation with those in my sphere. I see every encounter as an opportunity orchestrated by you to bring others into the Kingdom. By your Spirit, I’m empowered to be an effective witness of your grace and love to a hurting world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. My body was fashioned for the Lord’s presence. It is the temple of the Holy Spirit, therefore sickness, disease and anything that hurts or binds have no place here. I live in the ageless zone, where I can only grow without aging. Each day, I get stronger and healthier. Like the eagle, my strength and my youth are renewed. The plan of the enemy against me is completely null and void. I have peace all around me! I am never without strength because the Strengthener – the Holy Spirit – is in me. He ministers to my body and energizes me in health, strength, and vigor. Weakness is not an option in my life because the Holy Ghost dwells in me. I am empowered with might from within; therefore, I am victorious at every count and in everything. I refuse to live or function by natural abilities or within human capacities. I make full proof of God’s limitless power that has been deposited in my spirit; thus, I reign, rule, and dominate my world. The Lord is my Shepherd—to feed, guide and shield me; I lack nothing! He makes me lie down in fresh, tender green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. Therefore, I walk in ever-increasing prosperity, possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. The glory of God is evident in my finances, health, family, business, and ministry. Christ in me is my guarantee of perfect health, prosperity, and success. Eternal life flows into everything I lay my hands on to do, causing endless prosperity. God’s divine power has given unto me all things that pertain to life and godliness. I live in endless prosperity. I declare that I am reigning in life–in my health, finances, job, and every area of my life. I walk in the victory and dominion of Christ today. I manifest life, glory, and excellence in every fiber of my being, and I grow from strength to strength every day. I live above the systems of the world. I’m seated together with Christ, far above principalities, powers, and the elements of this realm in Jesus’ name. Amen. Speak in tongues.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life (1 Corinthians 6:3). This scripture indicates that Christians will indeed judge angels. We will be seated together with Christ on thrones, and we shall judge the world and judge angels according to the Scriptures. Does this imply that Christians are superior to God’s angels? Yes, and our superiority is the result of our identity, our oneness with Christ. We’re joint heirs with Christ, born of the Spirit of God. Unlike the angels who are servants of God, we’re God’s children: “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs–heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ…” (Romans 8:16-17 NKJV). The Bible says, “…the servant abideth not in the house forever: but the Son abideth ever” (John 8:35). And 1 John 3:2 says, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God…,” we have the rights and privileges of sonship. We’re one with Christ, and He has given us His authority; we live and function in His Name. Some have asked for clarification with reference to Matthew 22:30 which indicates that at the resurrection we would be as angels. You have to understand the context: it says, “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.” Here, Jesus was responding to a question about marriage after resurrection, but He clarified that in the resurrection, we won’t be bound by earthly institutions like marriage. Instead, we will be like the angels, without gender, and will not engage in marriage. This doesn’t mean we will “drop” in rank to the status of angels but that we’ll transcend earthly distinctions. In the resurrection, we’ll be like God, who is neither male nor female. Presently, the angels are sent to serve us: “But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation” (Hebrews 1:13-14). PRAYERDear Father, I thank you for making me a joint heir with Christ, seated in heavenly places with Him, living and walking in the authority in His Name. I walk in the consciousness of my divine nature and live victoriously, reigning in life through Christ. Thank you for my divine oneness with you, my position, authority and inheritance in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Fear, doubt, and unbelief have no place in me, for my faith in God and His eternal Word is the victory that overcomes the world! Christ lives in my body; thus, I live the transcendent life, and I reign over sickness and disease. Daily, I live the good life that the Lord prearranged for me before the foundation of the world. I live in Christ’s victory, glory, dominion, and righteousness every day. I live in health because the life of God is in me and my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Christ in me is the hope of glory! Wholeness, health, and prosperity are guaranteed in my life because Christ lives in the very quarters of my heart, making fiber of my being inundated with His presence. I’m conscious of who I am. Nothing can go wrong with my liver, heart, or kidney, because Christ is my life. Daily, I have success, peace with prosperity, unspeakable joy, and health. I was born to reign and manifest the glory of the Kingdom of God on earth. My life is the expression of divine beauty, excellence, success, and greatness. I’m glorified in Christ; thus, I walk in health, wholeness, and wellness. Christ is my assurance of health and eternal life. I have dominion in Christ, I rule over my body with the Word of God and in the Name of Jesus. I disallow infirmity and I cut off any abnormality from my body. I speak in conformity with the Word of God. Thus, I live the awesome, transcendent life of ever-increasing glory; in health, vitality, and abundance as the Lord preordained.
