Rhapsody of Realities December 15th 2024. WE LIVE TO PRAISE

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright (Psalm 33:1). The Bible says, “Praise is comely for the upright.” This is wonderful. It means that praise is consistent with, or befitting to, the custom of our Kingdom. We live to praise. No wonder the Bible says, “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Now, “Praise is comely” also means that praise is beautiful. The New King James Version says, “Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful.” In fact, The Passion Translation says, “…Praise him with all you have, for praise looks lovely on the lips of God’s lovers.” This means that God loves to receive our praise. When we praise Him, we actually position ourselves where we ought to be as a people of praise: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9). We’re called to show forth His praise. The meaning of praise according to the Scriptures is the offering of thanks through our lips: “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name” (Hebrews 13:15). That means we see His goodness in the things that happen in and around us, and in our world, and for that we praise Him lavishly. God intended that our whole life would be full of praise. You were created for His praise. When we express our praise to Him, sometimes it’s with deep emotions, and at other times it’s with an effulgence of joy that others may not see. But God sees it all; we do these in the light of the Spirit and in the place of His holiness. In such an atmosphere of praise, you’re conscious of His love because in His presence is fullness of joy, and at His right hand are pleasures evermore (Psalm 16:11). Hallelujah! Rhapsody of Realities December 14th 2024. ONLY JESUS CHRIST GIVES ETERNAL LIFE

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him (John 17:1-2). What confidence Jesus had, to state that God had given Him power over all flesh to give them eternal life. This means Jesus is the One who gives eternal life. If He’s the Lord of your life, you have eternal life in you because He gives eternal life to all those over whom He’s Lord. You can only know and understand life when you know the source of life, and that’s Jesus Christ. The next verse says, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent” (John 17:3). Notice how Jesus classifies Himself here with God because He is Himself God. He didn’t say, “that they might know thee, the only true God,” and stop there. He said “and Jesus Christ”; meaning you’ve got to know God and you’ve got to know Jesus Christ. You can’t have one without the other. Jesus is eternal life; that’s the reason He can give it. So, if you don’t know Him, you can’t know life. The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). Again, we see that God gives eternal life through Jesus Christ. This truth gets even clearer in 1 John 5:11-12, which says, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” He says, “…this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life….” Observe the tenses. It doesn’t say if you have the Son, God will give you life. Rather, it says, “If you have the Son, you have life.” That’s the same thing Jesus said in John 6:47: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” Glory to His Name forever! PRAYERDear Father, I thank you for the eternal life that I have received through Jesus Christ. I rejoice that I have your life and nature in me, making me more than a conqueror. I walk in the consciousness of this divine life, and I manifest your glory, love and power as I share this truth with others, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Rhapsody of Realities December 13th 2024. USE HIS AUTHORITY, PRAYING IN HIS NAME

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind (Colossians 2:18). In Christianity, we don’t worship angels, neither do we ask angels to pray for us. No matter how much you call on them to pray for you, they won’t pray for you because they can’t pray for you. Jesus told us how to pray; He said, “…Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you” (John 16:23). We pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus. We’re the only ones with the right, privilege and blessing to use His Name in prayer. We don’t even ask Jesus to pray to the Father for us. Jesus said, “At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: for the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God” (John 16:26-27). So, we don’t say, “Lord Jesus, please talk to the Father for me.” No; the Father Himself loves us, so we talk to Him directly. I’ve always pointed out the difference between praying to God through Jesus Christ and praying to God in the Name of Jesus. They’re not the same. Praying to God in the Name of Jesus is what Jesus told us to do. Praying to God through Jesus Christ is making Jesus a medium, and after you’re born again, He’s not a medium to you. He’s a medium to God only for the sinner. Remember what He said: “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). But when you come by Him to the Father, you don’t need a medium anymore because you’re now in the presence of the Father. Praying in the Name of Jesus is a matter of authority. It means you’re using His authority. Why do you use His authority? Because He saved you, and He owns everything. His Name is on all creation; everything was created in His Name. Everything belongs to Him. The Father put the Name of Jesus as the stamp on all of His creation: “Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him” (Colossians 1:15-16). Therefore, everything listens to Jesus (Matthew 17:5). Everything! So, use His Name today with boldness. Moment of Worship: https://loveworldlyrics.com/what-a-privilege-rita-soul-healing-streams-12/ PRAYERDear Father, I thank you for the authority you’ve given me to use the Name of Jesus in prayer. I exercise this authority with boldness, knowing that I have direct access to you and that all creation listens to me as they listen to Jesus. I walk in health, dominion, strength, victory, peace and the abundant Iife, because I live in the Name of Jesus. Hallelujah! Rhapsody of Realities 9th December 2024. HE CLEANSES YOU FROM ALL SINS

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14). Our opening verse says in Christ Jesus we have redemption (riddance) through His blood, and then in the concluding part, it says, “…even the forgiveness of sins.” That word “even” is in parenthesis, which means it wasn’t in the original text. The translators inserted it by their own prerogative, but it was wrongly applied. The correct conjunction is the word “and”: “In whom we have redemption through his blood, and the forgiveness of sins.” To say “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins” suggests that “we have redemption of sins through His blood, meaning the forgiveness of sins.” But that’s not true, because they are two different things: first, in Christ Jesus, we have our riddance or redemption, and secondly, we have our freedom from sins (forgiveness). We’re free from sins. That means you don’t have to sin. You don’t have to keep watching to be sure that you don’t sin; rather, just keep walking in righteousness; keep walking in the light in His Word—His Word is light (Psalm 119:105). 1 John 1:7 says, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” This happens automatically. As you walk in the light of God’s Word, and in fellowship with other Christians, He automatically cleanses you from all sins. Sin is everywhere because man’s world has been polluted. But the Lord cleanses you from all sins, including sins you didn’t necessarily commit but rubbed off on you. This was the reason they had all kinds of ceremonial “washings” in the Old Testament. If they wanted to go into the presence of God, they’d wash their hands and their feet; they had to wash all the time. But it’s not so today: the blood of Jesus Christ Himself cleanses us from all sin automatically. He takes care of any sin, whether from someone else, from the environment, etc., so that you can keep walking your way through life in victory, from glory to glory. Hallelujah! Then in John 15:3, He says, “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.” It’s the ministry of the Word to cleanse you of sin, guilt, and all unrighteousness so you can walk in perfection and excellence, producing works and fruits of righteousness. PRAYERDear Father, I thank you for my new life in Christ, a life of righteousness with freedom from sin. Thank you for the continuous cleansing that comes from walking in the light of your Word. I walk in perfection and excellence, producing works and fruits of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY:|| 1 John 1:9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. || || Romans 3:24-26 NIVand all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. || || Acts 13:38-39Be it known unto you therefore, men [and] brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. || READ ALSO: Daily Affirmations: My heart is full of God’s love, kindness and compassion; and I express these lavishly everywhere and to everyone. I am stronger, bigger, healthier, brighter and wiser today, than I was yesterday, for the invigorating power of the Holy Spirit works actively and mightily in and through me daily. Senators Plan to Distribute 10 Billion Copies of Rhapsody of Realities in Reach out world day

To encourage a shift of mindset for progress and the advancement of the country, several senators have supported the plan to distribute 10 billion copies of “Rhapsody of Realities.” At Thursday’s “Reachout World Day with Rhapsody of Realities” program launch at the National Assembly Complex, the senators pledged their support. According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy Church publishes a devotional magazine called Rhapsody of Realities every month with the goal of promoting constructive change. Rhapsody of Realities is a life guide that gives readers a daily view on God’s word, according to Sen. Omueya Dafinone (APC-Delta), who made this statement. He claims that the newspaper aims to give readers everywhere the chance to reflect on their life on a on a regular basis to improve one’s quality of life. Sen. Thomas Joel-Onowakpo (PDP-Delta) also spoke, stating that he was aware of the transforming work being done by Christ Embassy Church. It will take a lot of money to reach the initiative’s goal, he said, but the implementers should not worry and instead have faith that “the money for the work of God will come.” According to the senator, the book is a guide that should be read because “it will take you all the way,” much like the Bible. As a result, he encouraged everyone to read it, particularly the young people who will have access to it. Pastor Obi Chiemeka, the director of the Christ Embassy Ministry Center in Abuja, had earlier stated in his introductory remarks that the publication had been translated. translated into braille for the blind and 8,132 other languages worldwide. Chiemeka stated that the newspaper will be released on a monthly basis and that it was presently being translated into several dialects, which, when added, would bring the total number of translations to twelve thousand. According to him, the newspaper also appealed to a wide range of demographics because it had sections for children, beginning readers, teens, and adults. This national launch day is being held for that reason. We want everyone to be aware that we will be delivering 10 billion copies worldwide on December 2nd,” he stated. Ms. Comfort Esung, a Corps Commander with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), stated in her remarks that the publication should be interpreted with confidence. Esung stated that FRSC is prepared to collaborate with Christ Embassy Church to distribute the book. According to her, the publications could be efficiently distributed through a number of channels that the commission has, including first responders, Special Corps Marshals, and corps members. According to Dr. Chris Iyam, Executive Director of CYPA-Africa, his life has altered since he first learned about the publication in 2008. He claimed that lawmakers would not make mistakes in any laws passed in the nation if they started their days by reading Rhapsody of Realities. According to Iyam, the national launch, which was attended by 109 senators and 360 members of the House of Representatives at the national assembly building, was a calculated move. He asserts that the nation’s millions of destiny are within the national assembly’s members’ grasp.
