According to the Air Force, the reports spreading across social media platforms are entirely inaccurate and misleading. In an official clarification, NAF explained that the aircraft in question, a C-130 transport plane, was not engaged in any form of intelligence gathering or covert surveillance operations. The service emphasized that the insinuations being shared online do not reflect the true nature of the aircraft’s mission and should be disregarded by the public. The Nigerian Air Force further addressed speculation surrounding the personnel onboard the aircraft. Contrary to viral claims, the eleven individuals onboard — consisting of aircrew members and engineering personnel — are not intelligence operatives or espionage specialists.
