President Bola Tinubu has emphasized that Nigeria is gradually shifting from a survival-oriented phase toward stability, with the country steadily progressing toward an era of sustained prosperity. The statement came during his address at the 4th Elective National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held in Abuja. Tinubu outlined his administration’s achievements and highlighted measurable impacts across various national programs. Reflecting on the government’s initiatives, the President underscored their effectiveness and real-world impact. “Tonight, you have seen firsthand accounts from beneficiaries of our programs. These initiatives are tangible, implementable, and impactful, not mere rhetoric as some opposition voices claim. We are moving from survival mode to stability and gradually advancing toward prosperity,” he stated. Engaging Nigerian Youth in Governance President Tinubu also directed his remarks to young Nigerians, emphasizing their critical role in governance and party activities. “To the youth of our party and nation, I speak directly to you. You are not just the future of Nigeria, but also the cornerstone for a brighter and assured national future,” he said. He applauded the energy, innovation, and creativity of young Nigerians, citing their digital fluency and entrepreneurial mindset as essential national assets. “Your creativity, technological know-how, entrepreneurial drive, and courage are among our greatest national strengths,” Tinubu added. The President urged the APC to provide more avenues for youth participation in leadership and decision-making. “Our party must continue to expand opportunities for young people—not as symbolic participants, but as genuine decision-makers. We need to nurture a generation of young progressives who are politically engaged, intellectually equipped, morally disciplined, and deeply committed to national development. The Nigeria we envision cannot be realized without you at its center,” he concluded.
