Despite this interest, the Brazilian forward is reportedly uninterested in signing for Tottenham, dismissively viewing Spurs as a club beneath the level he aspires to play for. At 24 years old, Rodrygo is believed to be open to leaving Los Blancos, particularly after falling down the pecking order under the leadership of Real Madrid’s current head coach Xabi Alonso. However, before committing to a transfer, the winger is said to be demanding reassurances from Alonso regarding more consistent playing time in the upcoming season. His dissatisfaction stems from a lack of regular involvement in Real Madrid’s campaign at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where Chelsea emerged champions.
