During the TikTok live stream, which occurred on a Tuesday, Carter Efe made the following statement that sparked massive backlash: “If Wizkid calls me my G, that means the lion don carry belle. That guy too get pride, idiot.” Following this, members of Wizkid FC — the loyal fanbase of the internationally acclaimed musician — reportedly retaliated by launching mass reporting campaigns against Carter Efe’s social media handles across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. On Wednesday evening, Carter Efe took to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to express his frustration and reveal that his Instagram account with over 1.8 million followers had been suspended, allegedly due to actions taken by Wizkid FC supporters. Shortly after that, Carter Efe posted a video, visibly emotional, stating that his TikTok account had also been taken down. He begged for forgiveness and pleaded with Wizkid and his fans to help restore his accounts.
