Mrs. Chinyere had selflessly devoted her time to assisting her husband in classroom teaching duties for years — despite not receiving any form of salary or official appointment. Her touching story gained public attention after a viral media report showcased her unwavering commitment to supporting her blind husband in the pursuit of quality education for students. Governor Otti’s Swift Intervention Acting on the matter, Governor Otti instructed his Special Adviser on Basic and Secondary Education, Kenechukwu Nwosu, to pay an official visit to Ozuitem Secondary School. The visit was aimed at assessing the school’s existing challenges and verifying the authenticity of the viral video involving the blind teacher and his supportive spouse. Following the verification, Governor Otti approved her appointment, making it official through a formal presentation. Mrs. Chinyere was handed her letter of employment by the Special Adviser.
