The incident unfolded in the early hours of Thursday (Nigerian time), shortly after the final whistle at the Estádio Urbano Caldeira, where emotions ran high following Santos’ disappointing performance.

A viral video clip obtained by LMSINT MEDIA on X (formerly Twitter) captured Neymar engaging in a heated verbal confrontation with a visibly frustrated fan. The altercation quickly drew attention, with goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão stepping in to physically separate the Brazilian superstar from the escalating situation.

Despite the clash, Neymar was deeply involved throughout the match, showcasing his flair both on and off the ball. He came close to equalizing for Santos with what looked like a clear scoring chance. In his attempt to celebrate what he believed was a goal, Neymar smashed the corner flag and aggressively tugged at his shirt, only to realize the ball hadn’t fully crossed the goal line—leaving the crowd in disbelief.

According to LMSINT MEDIA’s match report, Internacional secured victory with goals from Johan Carbonero and Rafael Santos Borré. Although Álvaro Barreal netted a late consolation for Santos, Neymar failed to convert key opportunities throughout the game.
