Nigerian forward Christantus Uche was the standout performer as Getafe CF opened their new LaLiga campaign with a convincing 2-0 away victory over Celta Vigo, according to LMSINT MEDIA.

Uche created the breakthrough just two minutes into the second half when he delivered a precise assist for teammate Adrián Liso, who calmly converted to give Getafe the lead.

The 22-year-old forward then capped off his brilliant display by scoring the second goal in the 72nd minute, sealing the match and ensuring the visitors secured all three points.
