Gov. Dikko Radda Survives Minor Road Accident on Daura-Katsina Highway

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, encountered a minor road mishap along the Daura-Katsina highway on Sunday, while he was on official duty.

The incident was officially confirmed by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, through a press statement. He clarified that despite the unfortunate occurrence, the Governor did not sustain any serious injuries and remains in stable health.

In the statement, Mohammed explained that Governor Radda was actively engaged in discharging his official responsibilities when the minor accident happened on the well-travelled Daura-Katsina route.

The statement partly read: “While on official engagements serving the good people of Katsina State, Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda was involved in a minor accident this evening along the Daura-Katsina Road. We are pleased to assure everyone that the Governor is in excellent health, having not suffered any significant injuries.”

Governor Radda’s survival of the incident without harm has brought relief to citizens of Katsina State, who have expressed gratitude for his safety. The occurrence also underscores the demanding nature of governance and the risks that come with constant mobility in service of the people.
