Speaking on The Gary Neville Podcast, the ex-defender described Mikel Arteta’s squad as solid, reliable, and consistent, qualities he believes will give them the edge in the title race.

Neville made it clear that the setback against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool has not changed his opinion about Arsenal’s title prospects.

“I have already backed Arsenal for the title, and I’m not going to change that just because of today’s result,” Neville said.

The Sky Sports pundit also highlighted the importance of individual players stepping up in crucial moments. He singled out Declan Rice, urging him to become the type of midfielder who can dominate big games, while also praising Martin Ødegaard as a potential match-winner.
