Rhapsody of Realities June 7th 2025, THE POWER OF GIVING

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway (Acts 10:1-2). God is plainly against selfishness. Conversely, He’ll seize any opportunity to save, bless, and uplift a giver. Notice the word “save”; even non-Christians who are givers—who are liberal and generous—get God’s attention, and He seeks to save them. If He can find someone to pray for them, He will exercise His legal right to act and guide them into salvation. The story of Cornelius in Acts 10 beautifully illustrates this truth. Cornelius was a Roman centurion, a Gentile and not part of the Jewish community. Yet, he was a devout man who feared God and was known for his generosity. He gave alms to the people and prayed continually. His giving and prayers did not go unnoticed; they ascended as a memorial before God. As a result of his generosity, God sent an angel to Cornelius with a divine instruction to send for Peter who would bring him the message of salvation. Think about it; an angel appeared to Cornelius because of his giving! God orchestrated an entire salvation plan for Cornelius, his family, and his household because of his generosity. As Peter preached about Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit fell upon everyone present. They began speaking in tongues and praising God. This moment was a pivotal point in the Early Church, highlighting the universal vision of the Gospel. God despises stinginess; it is contrary to His nature and reflects the nature of the devil. So, every time God looks at a stingy person, He sees the enemy. But when He sees a giver, He sees something of Himself in that person and He’s drawn to that one in love. 2 Corinthians 9:7 AMPC says, “…God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving].” Let this be your description and your experience of God’s love will be overwhelming. CONFESSIONI’m a cheerful giver, and through my giving, I position myself in alignment with God’s divine purpose, experiencing His abundant grace. I function in supernatural blessings, favours and increase. Thank you Lord for making me a channel of blessings to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY2 Corinthians 9:6-7 AMPC[Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who SOWS generously [that blessings may come to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings. 7 Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving]. Proverbs 11:24-25There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and [there is] that withholdeth more than is meet, but [it tendeth] to poverty. 25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. Acts 10:3-4He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. Hebrews 13:16 AMPCDo not forget or neglect to do kindness and good, to be generous and distribute and contribute to the needy [of the church as embodiment and proof of fellowship], for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. Rhapsody of Realities June 6th 2025, THE LORD—YOUR SUSTAINER AND PROVIDER

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). As Christians, when we say Jesus Christ is Lord of our lives, it means more than He being our saviour. The Hebrew and Greek words for “Lord” carry the same meaning, which includes master, caretaker, bread provider, sustainer, boss, and teacher. This is the essence of what it means for Jesus to be Lord; it means He’s your sustainer, your master, your caretaker, your bread provider, and your teacher. If this is true, and thank God it is, then it means He’s more than capable of taking care of you. You don’t have to beg Him to take care of you or plead with Him to provide your needs with a sense of desperation as if He’s reluctant to do so. Such a disposition reflects a lack of understanding of who Jesus is as your Lord and Sustainer. Read His words in Matthew 7:11, “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” Ponder this for a moment. You have to learn to trust the Lord and rely solely on His Word. Act on His Word. The world’s systems are failing. In the days of Joseph, the Bible records that money failed. Inflation was rampant and the currency became worthless. But in the midst of that crisis, God’s people experienced supernatural prosperity. Why? Their trust was in the Lord, their sustainer. The Lord Jesus is more than able to sustain you through every season of life. Read Matthew 6:25-34 where He stresses your value and then tells you what to do and what not to do. So, act on His Word today. The triumphant life is for those who act on God’s Word. PRAYERDear Father, I thank you for being my Lord and Sustainer. I refuse to be anxious about anything because you are my caretaker, provider, teacher, source and sustainer. My trust is in you, and I function in supernatural prosperity as I live by your Word, in victory every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDYGenesis 47:15And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth. Psalm 37:25I have been young, and [now] am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. Matthew 6:25-34Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, [shall he] not much more [clothe] you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof. Rhapsody of Realities June 2nd 2025, YOUR LIFE IS DIFFERENT

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Many today have been conditioned to expect certain ailments or health challenges when they get to a certain age in life. They’ve been told that between ages 45 and 50 their bodies will begin to slow down, certain pains will set in, and at age 60, heart problems may arise. These conclusions have been drawn from mere human wisdom and experience, not divine truth. As a child of God, your life is different; you’re not an ordinary person. You’re not subject to the limitations and corrupting influences of this world. Never accept the verdict from man’s limited knowledge stemming from the wisdom of this world with respect to your health. Your body is not subject to the elements of this world and the vagaries of nature. You’re in Christ and from Christ where divinity rules. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” This means no inherited sickness or weakness, because you’re born of God, inundated with eternal life. Your identity is not in your earthly lineage. It doesn’t matter what ran in your biological family—heart problems, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.—those things have no hold on you! You’re a new creation in Christ, born into a new family—the family of God. If sickness tries to attach itself to your body, you say, “In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I rebuke this sickness. I remove it from my body!” Your words have power; use them to establish your divine health. Take charge of your body. Speak in tongues and charge your spirit and then give the Word concerning your health. Your body will respond to the Word of God. You belong to the divine class, full of the life of God! Even now, say, “I refuse to be sick. I live above age-related or environment-related conditions. My blood pressure is normal, my heart is perfect, and all my organs function perfectly. I walk in divine health and strength all my days, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.” PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the reality of my divine nature in Christ. I refuse to accept the limitations, sicknesses, and conditions that the world prescribes. My body is full of life, health and strength. No infirmity can thrive in me because the Spirit of God quickens my body. I live victoriously, walking in divine health and supernatural vitality, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Rhapsody of Realities June 1st 2025, WORDS—YOUR MOST VALUABLE ASSET

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matthew 12:37). Not realizing their value and power, many misuse words. They don’t speak correctly. Speaking correctly means speaking in consonance with the Word of God; saying what God has said. Hebrews 13:5-6 says, “…for he hath said…So that we may boldly say….” Words are “things”; they’re living; they’re powerful; they’re creative. Words shape destinies, define realities, and determine outcomes. If you want to understand why your life is the way it is, review your words; listen to yourself. The words you speak determine your health, your appearance, and even your future. Your thoughts and words shape not just your life but even your physical appearance. That’s because words are thoughts clothed in vocabulary, and every person is a reflection of their thoughts. Therefore, if words are an expression of thoughts, then your words reveal your character. No one can live beyond the character of their words; your words define you. Have you seen people who constantly look worried, even when they’re not frowning? Their faces carry the imprint of their thoughts and words. Their health, their emotions, and even their physical features are affected by what they’ve been saying and thinking. That’s because your words are the forces that mould your life. When you speak words of faith, victory, power, success and divine health, your life will align with those words. Proverbs 15:4 says, “A wholesome tongue is a tree of life….” Proverbs 18:21 declares, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” 1 Peter 3:10 takes it to a climax; it says, “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.” Speak the right words, for you’re what you say. What you say is what you get (Mark 11:23). Praise God! PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the power of words and the ability to speak and shape my future in line with your perfect will. My words are filled with faith, strength and divine wisdom, bringing health to my body, joy to my spirit and success to my path. I walk in victory always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Rhapsody of Realities May 31st 2025, HE KNOWS THE DETAILS

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26 NKJV). Life is full of decisions—some simple, others life-changing. At times, you may find yourself at a crossroads, unsure of what to do. There’s an opportunity open to you, and you’re wondering, should I take it? What’s the best step forward? The good news is this: the Holy Spirit knows the details! Consult with Him and He’ll give you the perfect guidance you need. Ponder again Paul’s beautiful and inspired words in Romans 8:26 as quoted in the theme verse. The Holy Spirit, knowing all things, knowing the will of God and the mind of the Father, makes intercession for us—not from outside but from within. He prays in you and through you, helping you when you don’t know what to pray for or how to pray. There’s so much you don’t know about situations, people, and even about your own future. But the Holy Spirit knows and understands the fine details; things about your life, the things beyond human perception, and He intercedes for you accordingly. Imagine having someone who knows exactly what you need and praying in your behalf with divine accuracy. That’s the ministry of the Holy Spirit! But here’s the key: if you don’t pray in the Spirit, you won’t experience this divine help. You can’t just sit around, sighing and waiting for life to happen, crossing your legs, shifting in your seat, or even shedding tears; that won’t change anything! Someone might even pray, “Dear Father, my case is dire, please pity me.” The Lord has already pitied you—that’s why He sent Jesus and gave you the Holy Spirit. Look at what the Bible says: “Once you were not a people [at all], but now you are God’s people; once you were unpitied, but now you are pitied and have received mercy” (1 Peter 2:10 AMPC). Did you see that? He’s done everything necessary for your success. The question is, will you take advantage of it now that you have the Intercessor within you? When you pray in the Spirit, you align yourself with God’s perfect plan. Instead of confusion, you receive clarity. Instead of struggling in uncertainty, you walk in divine precision. Even now, take some time to pray in the Spirit; speak in tongues and stir up the Spirit within you. Glory to God! PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the intercessory ministry of the Holy Spirit, who enables me to pray effectively and accurately. I am never helpless or confused because the Holy Spirit guides me in all things. I function with divine wisdom and supernatural ability, effecting changes in my life and circumstances. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8). There’s a difference between the Holy Spirit coming upon you and the Holy Spirit dwelling in you. From the day of Pentecost in Acts chapter 2, the reason for the Holy Spirit coming upon anyone was to take up residence within them. And that’s what has happened with us. In the Old Testament, He came upon people to enable them to fulfil a specific purpose for a particular time. Various individuals experienced this, including Elizabeth, upon whom the Holy Spirit came and she was filled with the Holy Ghost: “And it came to pass, that when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost” (Luke 1:41). The Holy Spirit also came upon Samson, empowering him to accomplish mighty feats, but he was not filled with the Holy Ghost: “And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand…” (Judges 14:6). Now, as one who has received the Holy Spirit, you have been endowed with power to accomplish extraordinary things. The Bible declares, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…” (Acts 1:8). The word “power” here is from the Greek “dunamis,” meaning the dynamic ability to cause changes. Consider the significance of this: God says you have received the ability to effect changes. Why then should you remain in an undesirable situation, crying and pleading with God to intervene about things you can change? So, go ahead and effect a change. After receiving the Holy Spirit, the apostles lived in the reality of His indwelling presence. Each one of them operated in the supernatural. That’s the same life He’s given you. Being filled with the Holy Spirit, you’ve been endued and equipped with divine ability to effect changes and walk in the supernatural every day PRAYERDear Father, thank you for filling me with the Holy Spirit and empowering me with divine ability to effect changes in my world. That joy produces laughter deep in my spirit, causing my health to bloom and flourish. Nothing can weigh me down. Rhapsody of Realities May 26th 2025,CHANGE LEVELS

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18). Have you ever come to a point where you knew you had to change levels? You looked at your life and said, “I’ve been at this stage for too long; it’s time to move up!” This is important because you should always desire growth and advancement! Our life in Christ is upward and forward; it’s from faith to faith, grace to grace, and from glory to glory. At every stage, I always set clear targets for my life. I determine what I would achieve at different times, and the remarkable thing is, I always hit my targets ahead of schedule. This taught me an important lesson: setting goals works. But beyond setting goals, taking action is what brings results. Some people wait, hoping that God will step in and change their situation without them doing anything. But that’s not how it works. There’re things God does, and there’re things you must do. Think about a farmer; he cultivates his land, plants seeds, and waters them, but he doesn’t make them grow. He understands that if he follows this process, the soil will cause the seed to germinate and produce a harvest. Where is God in all these? He’s the One who gives life to the seed. The soil itself carries a divine mystery; when a seed is planted, it dies first, and then God’s power causes it to spring back to life. Now, imagine a farmer who never plants anything. Harvest time will still come, but while others are reaping, he will have nothing, because he didn’t plant anything. It’s the same with life—if you don’t plant seeds, you won’t see a harvest. I discovered that planting seeds into my mind and heart produces results. Even greater is the discovery that I can plant seeds into the realm of the spirit and reap a supernatural harvest! So, do something to change your current state and estate. Many people haven’t changed levels in five years. Their lives have remained the same, except that things have become harder because the world has moved forward while they remained stagnant. When you don’t upgrade your life and mindset, you won’t be able to accommodate the changes in the world around you. Decide to change levels. Take the necessary actions today that’ll create the future you desire. PRAYERDear Father, I refuse to remain at the same level. I take action, planting the right seeds into my heart, my mind, and the realm of the spirit. By the power of your Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I move forward and upward, changing levels and fulfilling my destiny. Thank you for your divine power at work in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Rhapsody of Realities May 25th 2025, THE UNIQUENESS OF THE PASTORAL OFFICE

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12). Our opening scripture lists for us the fivefold ministry gifts or offices in the body of Christ: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Through these ministry gifts and offices, the Lord builds up His Church, ensuring that every member is equipped for the work of the ministry. However, among all the ministry offices, it’s the pastoral ministry that God specifically holds responsible for the congregation. While there are others who may function as pastors for a period of time by God’s commission, they may not necessarily be called to the pastoral office. Some assume that being a minister of God means one must pastor a church, but this is not so. Pastoring a church is a unique calling, and stepping into it without being specifically called by God could lead to regrettable extremities. The pastor’s office has a special calling and ability to deal with the problems of people on a regular basis. When those who aren’t called to be pastors take on that role, the burdens and challenges of the people can weigh heavily on them. Some of the issues shared by congregants can rub off on them, causing them to experience similar difficulties. It takes that divine power to deal with such situations. This is why some ministers, after counselling others, find themselves becoming victims of the very situations they tried to help resolve. It’s because the counselling wasn’t done with a pastoral calling or pastoral ability. So, it pays to be in your calling. It’s important to teach God’s children as many are unaware of the distinctions between the different offices and how they operate in God’s plan. And thanks be unto God! The Lord is building His Church, training and preparing His labourers for the task at hand. PRAYERDear Father, thank you for setting ministers in the body of Christ according to your divine wisdom. I walk in the fullness of my calling, functioning in the grace and ability you have given me. Rhapsody of Realities May 24th 2025,THE HOLY SPIRIT—OUR SURE-GUIDE

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13). The ministry of the Holy Spirit is so vital for every Christian; He’s our teacher and our guide, and when you rely on Him, He’ll teach you everything you need to know about life and guide you on how to live triumphantly every day, fulfilling your God-given purpose. If you’re a Pastor, for example, you need His guidance at all times. Pastors deal with many people, each with different challenges and questions. Often, people come to church with burdens, seeking answers, and a pastor cannot simply pick a subject at random. That’s why it’s important to pray and expect guidance from the Holy Spirit. A pastor or a leader, for instance, may already be dealing with a particular subject in church, but every service is unique. Therefore, each service must be approached with the understanding that the Lord has something definite for everyone. But how can this be achieved? How can the Word be ministered in such a way that it meets each one at their respective points of need? It’s only through the Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus said, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:38). That living water—the Word of God—pours forth through you by the Holy Spirit. If you give Him attention, His Word will flow from you like water poured on a thirsty soul, bringing answers to questions, solutions to problems, healing to the afflicted, restoration to the broken-hearted, sight to the blind, and courage to the disheartened. This principle is not just for pastors—it applies to every Christian. The Holy Spirit lives in you and desires to guide you daily in all things. Recognize His presence in you and encourage His ministry in your life. He’ll teach you, lead you, and cause His Word to flow through you to impact others. Hallelujah! PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the amazing person of the Holy Spirit, my Teacher and Guide. I yield myself completely to Him, allowing His wisdom, knowledge and power to flow through me, bringing solutions, healing and direction to many. Rhapsody of Realities May 23rd 2025, PRAY FOR LEADERS AT EVERY LEVEL

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Many desire a quiet and peaceable life; yet, they neglect the action the Lord says would cause it to happen. The Word of God is clear on what we must do to make our nations the haven of peace and prosperity that God ordained them to be: we are to pray for all men, including leaders at every level or position of authority. Therefore, make it a culture, every day, to pray for your president and all those who work with him; pray for the governors. In your state, city, or community, pray for the leaders at every level and for those who work with them. Pray for the community heads, the judges, the leaders of the police and the armed forces, the heads of the different institutions and parastatals in your nation. When you pray for them like this, the prosperity in your nation will blossom and the people will profit from the good that’s in the land. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 1:19, “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” There’s more wealth in your nation than you can imagine, but the onus is on God’s people to do the needful; act on the Word. Pray for your nation and its leaders as God has instructed. The solution is not in protesting or bringing down the government. Even if you removed a leader and replaced him or her with another, it wouldn’t change the root issue. The real solution is in prayer—praying according to this pattern, which Paul outlined by the Spirit: supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks for all men, and for all in authority or positions of leadership. Even now, take the next few minutes to pray for those in authority in the nation where you live, work, or do business. Create the conditions for a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty in your nation through your heartfelt prayers as directed by the Spirit. PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the privilege and responsibility of prayer. I pray for all the categories of leaders in my nation and around the world, that their hearts are mantled by your wisdom and influenced by your righteousness. Those that work with them, including the systems and structures they put in place, all align with your perfect will for the Gospel to prevail in every nation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Rhapsody of Realities May 22nd 2025, LIVE ABOVE HUMAN LIMITATIONS AND MIND-SETS

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48). In Christ Jesus, we’ve been called to a life of perfection, victory and glory. Yet, there’re those who knowingly or unknowingly resist this truth by holding on to human limitations. They often say, “We are all human,” or “Nobody is perfect.” They use these statements to justify living below the divine life we’ve been called to in Christ. When people say “We’re all humans,” they forget the transformation that took place when we were born again. The Bible declares, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). As new creatures in Christ, we’re not merely human—we’re born of God, partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). The other common phrase “Nobody is perfect” also contradicts the Scriptures. The Lord Jesus unequivocally stated in our opening verse, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” Perfection means to be full-grown in maturity, blameless, unspotted, wanting nothing; a completeness. Then you have another common generalization which is “We all make mistakes,” as though living beyond mistakes is inevitable. But the Word of God teaches us differently. The Bible says, “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God” (1 John 3:9). The seed of God—the life and nature of God—is in you, empowering you to live above error and walk in righteousness. It’s about your knowledge and understanding of Christ and His Gospel. It’ll put you above every limitation to live the glorious life He has given you. Many are hindered by negative beliefs and traditions handed down by those who don’t know the truth. But you must look to the Word and refuse to live by these limiting mind-sets. The life in Christ is one of excellence, righteousness, victory, and dominion over sin, Satan and circumstances. The life of Christ in you is a perfect life, and it’s your responsibility to walk in its reality. Refuse to accept mediocrity or failure. Look to the Word, believe it, and live by it. Hallelujah! CONFESSIONI am not a mere human; I am born of God, a partaker of His divine nature, incorruptible and impregnable. I live the life of righteousness, perfection and glory in Christ. Rhapsody of Realities May 21st 2025, UNDERSTANDING IMMORTALITY

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed (1 Corinthians 15:51). Many misinterpret Hebrews 9:27, which says, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” They conclude from this verse that every person must die once. But the actual rendering is that because it was appointed for men to die once, Christ died once for all humanity. His death was the fulfilment of that appointment, not a statement that every individual is doomed to die physically. The Gospel of Jesus Christ abolishes mortality. 2 Timothy 1:10 says, Christ Jesus abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. This is a present reality for those in Christ. You’ve been brought into immortality—deathlessness. Immortality means you don’t die. Some argue that men like Enoch and Elijah who were taken by God without dying must return to earth to experience physical death. This is also absurd, as it undermines the essence of the Gospel and the victory of Christ over death. The Lord Jesus declared, “…I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die…” (John 11:25-26). The revelation of eternal life is vital. John wrote, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life…” (1 John 5:13). Eternal life is the nature of God imparted to the human spirit at the New Birth, and you must live daily with the consciousness that you have passed from death to life. Life works in you now that you’re born again. This knowledge and revelation is necessary for you to walk in the fullness of God’s plan for your life. Mortality has been defeated, and you’ve been called to walk in the realms and reality of immortality. The generation of the Church that hears and acts on this message is the generation of the Rapture, and we’re that generation. PRAYERDear Father, I thank you for the gift of eternal life, which I possess in Christ Jesus. I declare that death has no dominion over me, for I walk in the reality of immortality, as unveiled in the Gospel. I live in the consciousness of this life, upward and forward only, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Rhapsody of Realities May 19th 2025, THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FAITH AND HOPE

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is the essence, the title deed of things hoped for. Hope is usually in the future; it is something you look forward to, something you desire that’s not yet realized. It’s a picture of the future or an image of a desired outcome, accomplishment, possession, or fulfilment. So, hope is important as it precedes faith. Faith, on the other hand, is the essence of hope. Hope is foundational for faith to operate. Without hope, faith has no substance, no life. The Bible tells us that these three abide: faith, hope, and love (1 Corinthians 13:13). While it emphasizes that love is the greatest, it also shows the indispensable nature of all three. These elements—faith, hope, and love—are unique to us as part of our God-given nature. Hope is critical because it sustains us, keeping us connected to the future. It is the picture, the image that faith gives substance to. When you can see it in hope, faith makes it real. The relationship between faith and hope is beautifully illustrated through the concept of wave-particle duality in quantum physics. Experiments in quantum mechanics reveal that subatomic particles, when unobserved, exist as waves. However, when observed, the wave collapses into a particle, forming matter. This phenomenon parallels the operation of faith and hope. Hope is the potential energy—the wave, the possibility. When you focus on it, when you observe it through faith, it collapses into matter. It becomes real. The Bible already explained this reality. It shows us that hope must precede faith. Hope provides the picture, and faith transforms that potential into a tangible reality. Without hope, faith has nothing to act upon. When you have hope, you possess the possibility of what can be realized and faith activates it, turning that which was hitherto intangible into substance. PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the three creative elements: faith, hope, and love. I set my heart on the vision of your Word, stirring hope in my heart for a greater and brighter future; my faith is alive and active; it brings every possibility to reality. My faith is active, producing results and materializing every promise in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
