Christian Genocide in Nigeria: How Netanyahu Plans to Support Nigeria Through Intelligence Sharing

Concerns over the persistent killings of Christians in Nigeria have once again drawn international attention, following fresh comments by Israel’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Michael Freeman. The envoy disclosed that Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has expressed readiness to support Nigeria in addressing insecurity linked to attacks on Christian communities.

During a televised interview on Prime Time, a programme aired on Arise Television and monitored by LMSINT MEDIA, Freeman explained that the Israeli government is willing to collaborate with Nigerian authorities through intelligence cooperation. According to him, the approach will be guided strictly by the Nigerian government, ensuring respect for sovereignty and national security priorities.

He emphasized that Israel does not intend to impose solutions but rather to work in partnership with Nigeria wherever assistance is required to confront insecurity across the country. Freeman noted that discussions involving intelligence sharing are highly sensitive and cannot be disclosed publicly, as doing so would compromise their effectiveness.

The ambassador further stated that Prime Minister Netanyahu has been open about his concern for Christians globally, not just those in Nigeria. He explained that Netanyahu’s remarks were centered on the safety and growth of Christian populations worldwide, highlighting Israel as a unique example in the Middle East where the Christian population continues to increase.

According to Freeman, this point was raised to demonstrate Israel’s long-standing commitment to religious freedom and the protection of minority groups. He stressed that Israel’s willingness to assist Nigeria aligns with broader global efforts to safeguard vulnerable communities from targeted violence.
