Oblak Admits Arsenal Were Superior

According to the goalkeeper, the team showed too much caution early in the game, which negatively affected their performance.

“The team that wins is always considered the better side. They achieved victory, so congratulations to them. We feel disappointed and frustrated, but that’s part of football,” he said.

He further explained that Atletico improved after the break but failed to do enough to change the outcome.

“We performed better in the second half. However, in the first half, we gave them too much respect and played with fear. That hesitation cost us. Even though we improved later, it wasn’t enough to reach the final.”

“It’s unfortunate, and we are upset, but that’s life. Arsenal performed better overall, and they earned their place in the final.”
