In a recent development from Liverpool FC’s pre-season activities, first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker has officially become the third squad member to exit their ongoing pre-season tour in Japan.
The Brazilian international has reportedly traveled back home due to personal reasons, making him unavailable for the club’s final fixture of the tour. His absence was evident as he did not participate in the Reds’ open training session in Tokyo on Tuesday.
Earlier in the week, Joe Gomez was the first to leave the camp following a complaint of Achilles discomfort. The English defender is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the club’s AXA Training Centre located in Merseyside.
The club’s pre-season journey has been marked by unexpected exits, and while fans will miss Alisson’s presence on the pitch, his quick return is anticipated as Jurgen Klopp continues to reshape the squad ahead of the 2025/2026 Premier League season.
