According to reports from eyewitnesses at the scene, the devastating collision involved a heavy-duty trailer and a smaller vehicle transporting sachet water, commonly recognized in Nigeria as “pure water.”
This unfortunate event transpired less than 24 hours after a previous fatal crash at the exact same spot, amplifying public anxiety regarding the lack of adequate road safety measures along this frequently traveled route.
Emergency personnel have arrived at the scene and are currently managing the situation. However, the number of casualties involved in this latest incident has not yet been officially confirmed.
