According to reports from eyewitnesses at the scene, the devastating collision involved a heavy-duty trailer and a smaller vehicle transporting sachet water, commonly recognized in Nigeria as “pure water.”
This unfortunate event transpired less than 24 hours after a previous fatal crash at the exact same spot, amplifying public anxiety regarding the lack of adequate road safety measures along this frequently traveled route.
