A senior aide to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has downplayed the recent coalition announced by opposition leaders, describing its members as “expired politicians” who lack genuine political weight or grassroots influence.
He further emphasized that President Tinubu is not in any way disturbed by the development, pointing out that the administration is more concerned with delivering on its promises of economic recovery, infrastructure growth, and improved welfare for Nigerians. He insisted that no amount of political maneuvering from disgruntled figures could derail the focus of the government.
The aide concluded by reiterating that President Tinubu’s administration welcomes constructive criticism and opposition, but not from those who are only seeking personal relevance after their political expiration date has long passed.
