Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind (Colossians 2:18). In Christianity, we don’t worship angels, neither do we ask angels to pray for us. No matter how much you call on them to pray for you, they won’t pray for you because they can’t pray for you. Jesus told us how to pray; He said, “…Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you” (John 16:23). We pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus. We’re the only ones with the right, privilege and blessing to use His Name in prayer. We don’t even ask Jesus to pray to the Father for us. Jesus said, “At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: for the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God” (John 16:26-27). So, we don’t say, “Lord Jesus, please talk to the Father for me.” No; the Father Himself loves us, so we talk to Him directly. I’ve always pointed out the difference between praying to God through Jesus Christ and praying to God in the Name of Jesus. They’re not the same. Praying to God in the Name of Jesus is what Jesus told us to do. Praying to God through Jesus Christ is making Jesus a medium, and after you’re born again, He’s not a medium to you. He’s a medium to God only for the sinner. Remember what He said: “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). But when you come by Him to the Father, you don’t need a medium anymore because you’re now in the presence of the Father. Praying in the Name of Jesus is a matter of authority. It means you’re using His authority. Why do you use His authority? Because He saved you, and He owns everything. His Name is on all creation; everything was created in His Name. Everything belongs to Him. The Father put the Name of Jesus as the stamp on all of His creation: “Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him” (Colossians 1:15-16). Therefore, everything listens to Jesus (Matthew 17:5). Everything! So, use His Name today with boldness. There’s order and grace in my life. I will never go down. When men are cast down, I will always be lifted. I am a child of the Most High God — Christ in me, the hope of glory. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10). What we just read in our opening scripture is extraordinary. There’s no better way to explain it than how it’s already stated. The message is very clear: Christ has abolished death and has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. The Church has to come to the knowledge and profundity of this truth. Now that you’re born again, you’ve passed from death to life; you’re in the place of immortality—deathlessness: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24). You have the transcendent life—the overcoming life that makes you superior to Satan, darkness, disease, sickness, failure, defeat, and death. Now, if this is true, and thank God it is, why are there still so many in the Church today struggling with their health and being buffeted by the elements of this world? The reason is their lack of understanding, consciousness and knowledge of this truth. God said in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for their lack of knowledge.” It brings to mind the lamentation of the psalmist, Asaph in Psalm 82:5-7, “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.” How sad! Being born again, you’re a god because you’re born of God; therefore, you have the God-life! That life isn’t subject to sickness; it’s death-proof and disease-proof! This is the truth, and unless you accept this reality, you’ll never live it. This is what Jesus came to accomplish for us, and He fulfilled it. He “finished” the work. On the Cross, before He died, He said, “It is finished”; in other words, mission accomplished; death is abolished; life and immortality are now unveiled! The Bible says, “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God” (Hebrews 10:12). Glory to God! He made life and immortality available through the Gospel and sat down at the right hand of God. Now the Bible says whosoever believes in Him has everlasting life (John 3:16). Today and always, God’s grace is active in my life and sufficient for me in all things. Thus, I rule dominantly over demons of darkness, sickness, disease, poverty, failure and death. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD …if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9). When you confessed the Lordship of Jesus, believing that God raised Him from the dead, you received eternal life; you were born into Christ and Christ came into you. You now have His life, His nature, and His spirit. This also means you’ll never go to hell because Jesus Christ, the light of the world, lives in you. He already went to hell in your place and defeated Satan and his cohorts of darkness in hell (Colossians 2:15). When He obtained the victory in hell, you were in Him. Accordingly, you have victory over hell, sin and death. No wonder the Bible says, “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17). In the Day of Judgment, you’ll boldly face the Master because as He is so are you. How is He? He’s righteous and holy; and so are you. Colossians 1:21-22 says, “And you…hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” It’s His doing; we didn’t ask for any of these: It pleased Him to make us partakers of the divine nature—associates of the God-kind (2 Peter 1:4). 1 John 5:11-12 says, “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life…” (NIV). When you made Jesus the Lord of your life, His divine life supplanted your human life. Like Him, you possess the organic and existential attributes of deity. You’re a God-carrying vessel; you’re one in whom all of divinity dwells. The Bible says concerning Jesus: “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9). Then the very next verse says, “And ye are complete in him…” (Colossians 2:10). This means you have what He has, for you’re a joint-heir with Him (Romans 8:17). You’re where He is; you’re seated with Him in the place of dominion, great glory, power and authority (Ephesians 2:6). You can do all things (Philippians 4:13), for you function in His Name and in His sufficiency (2 Corinthians 3:5). These and more are the realities now that Jesus is Lord of your life. PRAYERDear Father, I thank you for my new life in Christ Jesus; I rejoice that I am now in Christ and He is in me. His life, nature and Spirit are at work within me. I have what He has, for l’m a joint-heir with Him. I’m where He is because I’m seated with Him in the place of dominion, great glory, power and authority. I can do all things because I act in His Name and in His sufficiency. Blessed be God! When the challenges of life cast down men, I am always lifted above them. I am in the place of never-ending and superabundant wealth. I am being remembered right now in several places for good. I have received an overflowing of God’s grace. I enjoy promotions, unending success, and an extraordinary life of excellence, victory, and dominion. I am loaded with good things. I am exalted with Christ in glory; I know who I am. I am chosen, royal, and peculiar! I have the supernatural grace to excel in all endeavors today. I have sound knowledge and understanding. I have strength, might, and power. I speak excellent and princely things. I have an understanding heart. The opening of my lips is for the right things. My words are all righteous. I speak the truth always. God has given me wisdom. There is nothing beyond me. There is nothing I cannot handle. I have a wise and discerning heart. Christ is my excellent wisdom. My blessings cannot be humanly explained. I have money everywhere. I am a big-time kingdom financier. I have the supernatural intervention of the Almighty God in all my affairs. I am mightily blessed by the Lord! I am a blessing from God, a carrier and distributor of His blessing and grace to my world. Through me, God shows forth His manifold wisdom and excellent greatness. My family, workplace, neighbourhood, city, and nation are all blessed for my sake. I am an offspring of the Word, and the Word has pre-eminence in my life. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name (John 20:30-31). When Jesus declared that He was the Christ, the Jews accused Him of blasphemy because they understood what the term “Christ” meant. Christ means “Son of God,” and that expression means “God in human flesh.” Recall that in John 10 the Jews asked Him, if He was the Christ? and Jesus said, “Yes.” Then they cried, “…blasphemy; you, a mere man, have declared yourself to be God” (John 10:33 TLB). They understood the implication of Jesus saying He was the Christ and they vehemently opposed Him for making such a claim. But He was right; He is the Christ, the Son of God, and anyone who believes in Him has life. Hallelujah! Many years ago, as I took the Gospel to different places, I often would announce to the people that our purpose for coming to them was so they might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing, they might have life through His Name. Then, l’d give an altar call. Many believed in Him and the moment they did, they received eternal life for He has said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life” (John 6:47). In Romans 6:11, Paul tells us how to respond to this: “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.” So, today, if you believe in Jesus, it means you’re dead to sin but alive to God. You have eternal life. The Bible says through the Gospel, He brought life and immortality to light (2 Timothy 1:10). Here, there is no health scare, infection, or pandemic. No matter what happens to those in the world, I stand firm in faith, and I enjoy my glorious life now. I bask in the provisions of Christ for my life, health, and all that concern me. I walk in supernatural strength, supernatural health, supernatural supply, and supernatural abilities every day. My progress is unstoppable because I cannot be limited by sickness, disease, or the negativities of the ordinary life. As Jesus is above all things, so am I. The Holy Spirit has beautified my life. He brings colour into my life. I live a wonderful, colourful, beautiful, and productive life. The glory of God is beaming out of me with intensity. The Lord is my beauty, He is my sweet attractiveness. I am divinely enabled to see, think, say and, to do things that ordinary men cannot do. I am sagacious. I have an extraordinary amplitude of comprehension. I am a wonder and surprise to many. God’s wisdom is operative in me. This wisdom beautifies my life and causes me to inherit substance. The angels of wealth attend to me. The angel of money responds to me. The grace of God is working in me mightily and evidently. I experience a quantum leap in grace. I walk in exponential grace, and I take advantage of the grace of God. The Word of God has mastery over my spirit, soul, and body, and I enjoy divine health, success, and the good life. I belong in God’s superior class of divine beings; therefore, I look beyond the natural realm of existence to my heavenly rights, blessings, and provisions in Christ Jesus! I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and I have the life of God in me. My spirit, soul and body are vitalized through and through by the power and effect of righteousness and the fullness of the God-life that I’ve received through the Gospel. I’m walking in the reality of my divine heritage in Christ, conscious of His grace and awesome presence in my life, in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Speak in tongues. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14). Our opening verse says in Christ Jesus we have redemption (riddance) through His blood, and then in the concluding part, it says, “…even the forgiveness of sins.” That word “even” is in parenthesis, which means it wasn’t in the original text. The translators inserted it by their own prerogative, but it was wrongly applied. The correct conjunction is the word “and”: “In whom we have redemption through his blood, and the forgiveness of sins.” To say “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins” suggests that “we have redemption of sins through His blood, meaning the forgiveness of sins.” But that’s not true, because they are two different things: first, in Christ Jesus, we have our riddance or redemption, and secondly, we have our freedom from sins (forgiveness). We’re free from sins. That means you don’t have to sin. You don’t have to keep watching to be sure that you don’t sin; rather, just keep walking in righteousness; keep walking in the light in His Word—His Word is light (Psalm 119:105). 1 John 1:7 says, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” This happens automatically. As you walk in the light of God’s Word, and in fellowship with other Christians, He automatically cleanses you from all sins. Sin is everywhere because man’s world has been polluted. But the Lord cleanses you from all sins, including sins you didn’t necessarily commit but rubbed off on you. This was the reason they had all kinds of ceremonial “washings” in the Old Testament. If they wanted to go into the presence of God, they’d wash their hands and their feet; they had to wash all the time. But it’s not so today: the blood of Jesus Christ Himself cleanses us from all sin automatically. He takes care of any sin, whether from someone else, from the environment, etc., so that you can keep walking your way through life in victory, from glory to glory. Hallelujah! Then in John 15:3, He says, “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.” It’s the ministry of the Word to cleanse you of sin, guilt, and all unrighteousness so you can walk in perfection and excellence, producing works and fruits of righteousness. PRAYERDear Father, I thank you for my new life in Christ, a life of righteousness with freedom from sin. Thank you for the continuous cleansing that comes from walking in the light of your Word. I walk in perfection and excellence, producing works and fruits of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY:|| 1 John 1:9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. || || Romans 3:24-26 NIVand all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. || || Acts 13:38-39Be it known unto you therefore, men [and] brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. || READ ALSO: Daily Affirmations: My heart is full of God’s love, kindness and compassion; and I express these lavishly everywhere and to everyone. I function today, and always, in divine wisdom, manifesting the glory and virtues of divinity deposited within my spirit. I am set on the course in which I must follow, to fulfil my divine destiny in Christ! I walk in preordained pathways, for God has structured the course of events in my favour, and I go on to fulfil my divine destiny, to the glory and praise of His Name. I rejoice with profound joy because the Lord has filled my mouth with laughter and His joy is my strength. I do not know weakness, depression, or oppression of any sort. I am stronger, bigger, healthier, brighter and wiser today, than I was yesterday, for the invigorating power of the Holy Spirit works actively and mightily in and through me daily. It works in me mightily, causing my health to flourish daily. No weapon formed against my body shall prosper, for my body is preserved by the Spirit. I was born for the praise and glory of God; therefore, my life shows forth God’s praise and glory. No sickness can stay in me because the miracle-working ability of God is at work in me continually. I live by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus; therefore, I am beyond the reach of death and the law of sin. The Name of Jesus has been named upon me; therefore, my body is shielded and protected from all evil. I think the right thoughts and speak the right words. I am a testimony and the inheritor of the blessings of Abraham. I was born to be triumphant always and in every place. Regardless of the challenges that I may face, I will always win. It makes no difference what happens, where I find myself or who’s against me; I am more than a conqueror! I can never be disadvantaged, because the Lord God is mighty in me. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son (1 John 5:11). The term “record” in our opening verse also means testimony. The New International Version and a few other versions put it more clearly: “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son” (1 John 5:11 NIV). To get a better understanding of what John was discussing here, you’ll have to read the ninth and tenth verses as well. Let’s read: “We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son” (1 John 5:9-10 NIV). God’s testimony is that you have eternal life because you have Jesus Christ. You don’t have to feel it to know you have it. All you need is God’s testimony that you already have it. If you don’t accept His testimony, then you make Him a liar, and God cannot lie. That testimony also says anyone who doesn’t have the Son of God doesn’t have life. The 13th verse in the New International Version is so beautiful. There, the apostle John says, “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” Glory to God! If you believe in the Name of the Son of God, this was written to you so you can accept God’s testimony, and that testimony is that you have eternal life. Therefore, even now, say with confidence, “I have eternal life because I have the Son of God!” Hallelujah! PRAYERDear Father, I rejoice in your testimony that I have life because l have Jesus Christ. I walk in this consciousness today as I manifest your divine nature and power. I’m full of life, health and strength, and I live victoriously because eternal life is at work in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. I am identified with the Lord and branded by Him. I am a different kind of being, one that doesn’t fail, suffer, perish, or get ill. My life is fashioned by God for excellence. No matter how he tries or through which means he attempts to attack my body, the Name of Jesus gives me authority, dominion, and triumph always. My life is the expression of all that Christ is. His divine life is manifested through me. I live in the consciousness of my divine life and origin in Christ, knowing that the life I live is superior to sickness, disease, and defeat. The life of God in me has supplanted the human life that was susceptible to sickness and disease. The Lord Almighty is my defense and fortress. Satan has nothing in me because I am full of the Holy Spirit at all times. The environment in which I live is Christ. Here, there is no health scare, infection, or pandemic. No matter what happens to those in the world, I stand firm in faith, and I enjoy my glorious life now. I bask in the provisions of Christ for my life, health, and all that concern me. I’m rich in all things, having inherited all things, for I’m a joint-heir with Christ! I’m fruitful and productive, making progress in every area of my life. I’m complete in Christ and every facet of my life is perfected for excellence. When it comes to exercising your authority in Christ, it’s important to understand that you’re not doing it in your name but in the Name of Jesus. The focus is on Jesus. He didn’t say, “These signs shall follow them that believe they can do it”; no! Rather, He said it will “follow them that believe”; believe what? The And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…(Mark 16:17).! As a christian, you’re qualified, empowered, authorized and accredited to cast out devils, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers and raise the dead. So, it’s not about your ability but the authority of the one who designated you to do it. His Name is Jesus, and He has all power in heaven and in the earth. He said in Matthew 28:18, ..All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Hallelujah! On the basis of that authority, He said to us in the ensuing verse 19, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations….You represent Him. He’s given you the legal authority, the power of attorney, to act in His stead. When you speak, when you make demands or issue decrees to demons and circumstances in the Name of Jesus, they hear and obey you as though Jesus Himself were speaking. Because you’re the “believing” one, and Jesus Christ is Lord of your life and you’ve received eternal life into your spirit, you don’t need to exercise any more believing or faith to cast out devils. Just exercise the authority Christ has given you. Don’t try to believe; you already believe. It often helps to use the traffic police officer at the road junction to explain this. All he does is motion to oncoming vehicles to stop and they grind to a halt. If they don’t, they’d face the wrath of the law. That officer doesn’t have to first “believe” he can get the vehicles to stop. By his physical ability or personal power, he can’t. But as long as he’s in that uniform, he has the authority of the state that he represents. You sit on Jesus’ seat; that means you act in and by His authority. All creation—animate and inanimate—according to God’s sovereign decree have been commanded to hear and obey Jesus: .and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom l am well pleased; hear ye him”*_ (Matthew 17:5). This applies to you because the Bible says, …as he is, so are we in this world_ (1 John 4:17), and we do all things in His Name. Blessed be God! *CONFESSION**I’ve been qualified, empowered, authorized and accredited to cast out devils, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers and raise the dead. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18). In our previous study, we learnt that we’ve been transferred from the jurisdiction or domain of darkness into the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son. So, we’re currently in the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son. But what happens here? How are we supposed to live now that we’re in the Kingdom? Are we supposed to cry to God for the solution to one problem or the other? No! Having brought us into the Kingdom, we have Kingdom authority! The Lord Jesus said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy…” (Luke 10:19). Then recall what He said in our opening scripture: “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18:18). He’s given you the authority to determine the course and circumstances of your life. What you say is what obtains because you’re standing in the authority of Jesus Christ. If you observe that things around you or the circumstances of your life aren’t aligning with God’s perfect will, give the word and He’ll endorse it. He allows what you allow and disallows what you disallow. He’s given you the authority to effect changes when things aren’t happening right. Now you can understand why some people have remained in certain precarious conditions for a long time; it’s because they allowed it to continue. As a Christian, the day you decide you don’t want any particular issue to continue is the day it will stop. Maybe it’s sickness—perhaps a tumour or growth in your body—decide and declare, “l can’t have this in my body; my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit; therefore, I curse this growth and cut out this tumour in the Name of Jesus.” That’ll be it! Don’t say, “Oh God, please take this sickness away”; that won’t change anything. He’s not responsible for it; rather, He’s given you the authority to do something about it. It doesn’t matter what challenges you may be facing today. Don’t cry. Don’t beg. Don’t cower or complain. Exercise your authority in Christ! What does it take to exercise that authority? We’ll learn more about that in our next study. PRAYERDear Father, I thank you for giving me the authority to effect changes and determine the course and circumstances of my life in line with your perfect will. Even now, your blessings—health, peace and prosperity—are evident in my life. I walk in righteousness, propelled by your wisdom as I fulfil my destiny in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. I am the light of the world, and there’s no area of darkness in my life because I am the light of the world. The kind of blessings coming to me now, cannot be humanly explained. Unusual and unexplained monies, benefits and bonuses come to me. I have money everywhere. I am a big-time kingdom financier. I have the supernatural intervention of the Almighty God in all my affairs. My wealth is unending. My wealth is inexhaustible. I am the expression of God’s fullness; He is my completeness. It makes no difference what challenges I face in life; there’s a force – an empowerment – at work in me to blaze through the barriers. I live in health, prosperity, and excellence. I have no lack in this life because all my needs are met in Christ Jesus. Satan has nothing in me because I am full of the Spirit at all times. I manifest God’s glory, virtue, excellence, and greatness to my world, bringing glory to the Name of the Lord continually. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13). Our opening scripture says God has transferred us from the domain of darkness into the Kingdom of His Love-Son. That’s where you are now. The transfer wasn’t a process; it’s not something that happens from time to time; it’s already been effectuated, and it was a permanent transfer. Your present and permanent place of domicile is the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son. The question is: do you realize you’re in His Kingdom? It’s important to know this because it means you’re not under the dominion of Satan. You’re seated together with Christ, “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come” (Ephesians 1:21). Recall what the Bible says about our Lord Jesus Christ in 1 Timothy 6:15-16: He’s the “…blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto….” In other words, He only has immortality (life, “deathlessness”) and dwells in unapproachable light. He is light, and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5), and you’re in Him. That means in you, there’s no darkness, no sickness, disease or infirmity, nothing of Satan because you were born into God’s Kingdom of light—His marvellous light: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9). If this is true, and thank God it is, how can you have cancer? Where will diabetes, hypertension, heart condition, migraine headache, etc., come from since you presently and permanently dwell in the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son where there’s no darkness but light; where life and immortality reign? How can the devil oppress you when you’re not under his jurisdiction? In Luke 10:19, the Lord said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” It’s the reason you can say, “In the Name of Jesus, I refuse to accommodate Satan and anything from him; I belong in the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son, Jesus Christ, with dominion over Satan, sickness, disease, death and the demons of darkness.” Hallelujah! CONFESSIONI’m in the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son, where there’s no darkness, disease, failure or death. I’m seated with Christ, far above all principality, power, might, dominion and everything that’s named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. Amen. I am living the life of victory and dominion that Jesus purchased for me through His vicarious death, burial, and resurrection. I am preserved from the machinations of evil men. I have peace on every side. I am in the centre of God’s will for my life and I am equipped with all things that pertain to life and godliness. I am filled with the fullness of God! The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yes, I have a goodly heritage. I refuse to struggle for anything or respond in fear because God had not given unto me the spirit of fear. I declare that there is money everywhere, especially around me. Money is coming to me from everywhere. I don’t go after money, money comes to me by free course unhindered. Money comes to me in a continuous stream, never stopping, never-ending. Resources are locating me right now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. God is supplying me with continuous streams of finances. I am a king and my words are full of power and authority; therefore I live a life of victory, success, divine health, abundance, excellence, and glory. I am a victor, not a victim. God’s Word is producing what it talks about in my life. The Holy Ghost strengthens me with divine enablement in my inner man. I function today with the Spirit of might, dominion, and excellence. I have the life of God in me. That life destroys sickness and death; therefore, I walk in health and wellness. I cannot be sick! Divinity works and flows from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. I thank the Lord for this great grace that I lavishly enjoy. God’s stamp and seal of perfection are on me, certifying my health, success, victory, effectiveness, and glory. All I have and experience are glory, righteousness, life and immortality, joy, health, peace, prosperity and abundance. I live in God’s perfect will for my life and I am in sync with His plans and purposes for my health. There are no impossibilities with me; therefore, I refuse to be discouraged. I am filling the call

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him…(John 6:44). The Lord Jesus explained that God draws individuals through His Word and His message: “It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me” (John 6:45). When people hear the message and respond in faith, they’re drawn to Jesus because “…faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). This means for someone to come to Christ, they first need to hear the message of the Gospel (Romans 10:14). This underscores the importance of our individual responsibility in preaching and sharing the Gospel because it is through this proclamation that God draws people to Himself. So, more than ever before, preach the Gospel with conviction. In Romans 1:16-17, Paul’s conviction is palpable as he asserts that the Gospel is the definitive power of God for salvation. No wonder he preached it boldly, covering whole regions and territories with the Gospel, even at the peril of his life. He said in Romans 15:19, “…from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.” His valedictory remarks to the Christians at Ephesus, just before he rounded off his ministry, will provoke your faith for the Gospel and literally make you weep in intercession for souls. Read the entire portion in Acts 20:18-27. Paul knew that there are no alternatives; the Gospel is the singular pathway to salvation for all who believe. Therefore, like Paul, be resolute and absolute in your commitment to proclaiming the Gospel. Refuse to stay silent in your workplace, in the marketplace, and in your community. Consider the divine connections and opportunities God orchestrates in your life—the people you meet, the places you go—they’re not just for your personal gain but opportunities to share the message of salvation. Proclaim Christ to everyone you meet, recognizing that God networks us primarily to fulfil His eternal purpose of drawing people to Himself through us. Hallelujah! PRAYERDear Father, I recognize that it is through the proclamation of your Word that you draw people unto yourself. I walk in boldness and clarity as I share the message of salvation with those in my sphere. I see every encounter as an opportunity orchestrated by you to bring others into the Kingdom. By your Spirit, I’m empowered to be an effective witness of your grace and love to a hurting world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. I live in the ageless zone, where I can only grow without aging. Each day, I get stronger and healthier. Like the eagle, my strength and my youth are renewed. The plan of the enemy against me is completely null and void. I have peace all around me! I am never without strength because the Strengthener – the Holy Spirit – is in me. He ministers to my body and energizes me in health, strength, and vigor. Weakness is not an option in my life because the Holy Ghost dwells in me. I am empowered with might from within; therefore, I am victorious at every count and in everything. I refuse to live or function by natural abilities or within human capacities. I make full proof of God’s limitless power that has been deposited in my spirit; thus, I reign, rule, and dominate my world. The Lord is my Shepherd—to feed, guide and shield me; I lack nothing! He makes me lie down in fresh, tender green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. Therefore, I walk in ever-increasing prosperity, possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. The glory of God is evident in my finances, health, family, business, and ministry. Christ in me is my guarantee of perfect health, prosperity, and success. Eternal life flows into everything I lay my hands on to do, causing endless prosperity. God’s divine power has given unto me all things that pertain to life and godliness. I live in endless prosperity. I declare that I am reigning in life–in my health, finances, job, and every area of my life. I walk in the victory and dominion of Christ today. I manifest life, glory, and excellence in every fiber of my being, and I grow from strength to strength every day. I live above the systems of the world. There’s a difference between calling on the Name of Jesus and making a demand in His Name. It’s crucial to understand this distinction. Consider Romans 10:13; it says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Sinners can call upon His Name for salvation, but as Christians, we use His Name; we exercise dominion in His Name. Using His Name isn’t about calling out to Him as if you’re stil a sinner seeking salvation. Now that you’re born again, you belong to the household of God. The Name of Jesus is now named upon you and given to you to live by. You don’t need to call upon Him anymore for anything: rather, you use His Name with authority to create anything or effect the changes you desire. Notice in our opening verse that He didn’t say, “Call upon my name and I’ll cast the devils out and heal the sick”; no! Rather, you’re to use His Name to cast out devils, heal the sick, cleanse lepers, and raise the dead. His Name is an instrument; use it! In John 14:13-14 He said, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do…If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.” What a bold statement! That means you can demand anything in His Name and it’ll happen. For example, if you were in a distressing situation, instead of calling “Jesus!Jesus! Jesus!” out of desperation or panic, declare what you want in His Name. Speak with the authority He’s given you. You say, “In the Name of Jesus, I demand healing,” or “In the Name of Jesus, you devil of darkness, I command you to lose your grip and get out!” Always remember that you’re in charge and in control because you function in the Name of Jesus. Everything in life, physical and spiritual, including governments, thrones, the galaxies, principalities and powers, are all subject to the Name of Jesus. JESUS WANTS THE BEST FOR YOU PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the power and authority you’ve granted us to use the Name of Jesus. I walk in this authority and exercise dominion over circumstances and situations. I speak healing, peace and prosperity in His Name, and I thank you for the confidence and assurance that come with using the Name of Jesus to effect a change and bring your will to pass. Amen. FURTHER STUDY:|| Philippians 2:9-11Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; 11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father. || || Acts 3:16And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. || || John 16:23And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you. || Daily Affirmations: I’m full of joy and thanksgiving to God. I am basking in the grace and glory of Christ and the full blessings of the Gospel. I’m conscious of God’s love and care for me, for God is so detailed about me and everything pertaining to me. I live in peace, and function from a place of rest, now and always. The Word of God is working mightily in me. It doesn’t matter what may come my way; I’m a victor and I’ve overcome because I’m more than a conqueror. The life of God is working in my spirit, soul and body, and it’s manifested in all that concerns me. I declare that sickness and ill health are far from me. I’m protected from harm and I dwell in health all the days of my life. I declare that I’m a new creation, born superior to Satan and all the demons of darkness. I am seated together with Christ, far above all principalities and power, in the heavenly realms. I’m an offspring of divinity and a product of Christ’s resurrection! I’m a partaker of the divine nature and I dwell in Zion. I am full of the Holy Ghost and power. I do not worry about my health, finances, or anything else because the Lord has perfected all that concerns me. He has blessed my job and businesses. God has filled my barns with plenty. I am the pride of the ages, a joy to many generations. I am the pride of my family, city, and nation. I carry eternal life and when I lay hands on the sick, they recover. I have the life of Christ. That life makes me indestructible and impervious to sickness. Divine life and unfailing health and strength are at work in every fiber of my being, in every cell of my blood, and in every bone of my body! My body is invigorated by the Spirit of God who lives in me. Eternal life is at work in me. I am a carrier of divinity. The fullness of the Godhead dwells in me bodily. I live life in its fullness and I dispense virtues of healing and health to my world every day. Every day of my life is full of God’s glory, beauty, excellence, and grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Speak in tongues.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! (Psalm 139:16-17 NLT). Some people are afraid to allow the Lord Jesus have His way in their lives. They think He’ll change their dream; that dream they’ve so nursed all their lives; that picture they’ve painted for themselves. They feel He might lead them to become something they don’t want, so they become apprehensive. Well, the only people that think this way are those who don’t know who Jesus is. And because they don’t know Him, they can’t trust Him. If you ever get to know who He is, you’d learn to trust Him. Think about it: all He ever wants is the best for you. Therefore, you can trust Him with your life. He’s interested in everything about you. He loves you more than you love yourself. He has a plan for you, and that plan is to make you successful and joyful all the time. He said in Jeremiah 29:11 NIV, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” No one else has this kind of plan for you. It also brings to mind His endearing words in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” Think about that! It’s the reason He gave you His life, His righteousness, His glory, and His Name; so you can live transcendently above Satan, sin, sickness, disease, infirmities and death. Glory to His Name forever! Prayer / Confession Righteous Father, thank you for your unwavering love and perfect plans for my life. I trust you completely, knowing that your plans are to prosper me, give me hope, and secure my future. I choose to follow your guidance, confident that I’ll always live a life of joy and fulfilment, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Further study Jeremiah 29:11; 3 John 1:2; Isaiah 1:19 Daily Affirmations: I am enjoying God’s boundless grace; it is at work in me continuously. No matter what happens to those in the world, I stand firm in faith, and I enjoy my glorious life now. I bask in the provisions of Christ for my life, health, and all that concern me. There are no impossibilities with me. All things are possible with me. I am flourishing and bearing all-around fruits. I have significant attainments and supernatural productivity. I experience increase of every size. I have mighty harvest of blessings and miracles. My ground is producing new seeds and my seeds produce in rapid succession. There is abundance of harvest everywhere for me because protocols are broken for my sake. I possess and eat the good of the land because I have a goodly heritage. The wisdom of God is at work in me causing me to bring forth good things from within. I have an excellent mind. I bring forth creative ideas, results and innovations. My mind is blessed of God. I’m extravagantly rich. I dwell in peace with safety and prosperity. My peace and prosperity are unending. I yield my thoughts and mental processes to Your Word and Spirit, choosing to focus on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. I maintain an excellent mind that is creative, innovative, and free from negativity. My thoughts and actions reflect the excellence of my divine nature.
