Speaking during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the actress recounted how filming Omo Ghetto 2, a movie centered on street culture and gang life, attracted unwanted attention from local hoodlums within the filming environment. She explained that shooting in Ebute Metta came with constant interruptions from street boys who felt connected to the storyline of the film. “We were filming in Ebute Metta, and the boys around kept disturbing us because the movie reflected their real-life experiences,” she said. Despite being familiar with the area and having grown up there, Bimbo Thomas noted that this did not protect the production team from harassment. The situation escalated shortly before 1:00 a.m., when loud noises shattered the calm atmosphere. “We suddenly heard heavy banging and people shouting ‘Ole! Ole!’,” she recalled. Almost immediately, fear took over as it became clear that the hotel was under attack. Panic spread among everyone inside, with prayers becoming the only response. Bimbo Thomas described Funke Akindele as very prayerful, stating that everyone present began praying intensely as they tried to understand what was happening. Believing Funke was the primary target due to her celebrity status, they attempted to protect her. “I told them she was the face everyone recognized. Former Presidential Media Adviser, Umar Sani, has alleged that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, is intentionally fueling instability within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). According to Sani, influential leaders within the opposition party no longer feel comfortable with Wike’s continued membership, insisting that his actions have become harmful to the party’s unity and future. Speaking during an interview on ARISE News on Saturday, Sani provided insight into the widening disagreement between Wike and several PDP governors, the internal leadership struggle, and the potential consequences for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections. Sani explained that the ongoing conflict inside the PDP is not rooted in personal hostility but rather in resistance to what party stakeholders perceive as Wike’s excessive influence and disruptive conduct. Directly addressing the former Rivers State governor, Sani stated that if Wike believes the PDP cannot function without him, then he should consider leaving the party altogether. “From our standpoint, we want him to go. Let him move to the APC and see how we manage. We cannot continue accommodating someone who is destructive,” Sani declared. He insisted the party would regain strength once its legal matters are concluded. “Once the PDP overcomes this phase, the momentum will return. The political traffic will shift, and all roads will lead back to the PDP,” he said. On Peter Obi’s decision to move to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Sani stated that the former Labour Party presidential candidate still has the option of returning to the PDP. “If he is denied a ticket elsewhere, the PDP remains his only viable alternative, and we are ready to offer him the platform,” he noted. According to the council leadership, the attackers allegedly singled out Christian residents within the community during the assault. In addition to the confirmed fatalities, several other villagers sustained injuries of varying severity. The chairman further disclosed that the destruction caused by the attack was extensive, with residential buildings and valuable properties estimated to be worth billions of naira reduced to ruins. Reacting to the incident, Manship expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and condemned the violent act in strong terms. But in the New Testament, it’s different. When you received the Holy Spirit, you received a person into your life. You received the fullness of the Spirit without measure, not in parts or degrees. You have the totality of God’s Spirit resident in you, with power. You don’t need to ask for more anointing or more power from God. What you need is a greater consciousness of the One who lives in you. The more you’re aware of His presence, the more His graces and power function through you. Stop “waiting” for the anointing to come; it’s already in you. That anointing teaches, guides, strengthens, and empowers you for success and impact, as read in our opening scripture.
