Isn’t it amazing that the Lord Jesus would say in John 20:21, “…Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you?” It means you have His authority. The Father gave the Lord Jesus the Spirit without measure because He sent Him and therefore honoured every word that Jesus spoke while He walked the earth. Likewise, you also have been given the Spirit without measure, and the Father honours your words spoken in faith. Do you now see why you should always be bold to affirm the Word of God? When you speak God’s Word boldly, heaven responds, angels act, and results follow. Speaking God’s Word boldly is much more than loud recitation of Scripture. Rather, it’s declaring divine realities with authority—words that carry the same power that created the universe. Remember, the Holy Spirit is the power of the God-head. For example, when God said in Genesis 1:3, “…Let there be light: and there was light,” it was the Holy Spirit that caused the light to appear out of darkness. He’s the “doer” of the work. The Master said in John 14:10, “…the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” Here, He was referring to the Holy Spirit as the Father in Him. He’s the Father in you. Hallelujah! Therefore, when you speak words of power, healing, deliverance and life, the Holy Spirit incubates on them and causes them to produce results. The Lord Jesus said, “…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63). That same divine quality is in your mouth when you speak His Word.
