Sanwo-Olu Pledges Smarter Governance for Lagosians in 2025

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has assured Lagos residents of his administration’s commitment to delivering even greater strides in governance and development by 2025. Speaking at the Lagos House in Marina during the launch of a book titled “Beyond Rhetorics: Sanwo-Olu Unprecedented”, the governor emphasized his dedication to building a brighter future for Lagosians.

The book, written by the Lagos State Governor’s Office Correspondents (LAGOCO), celebrates Sanwo-Olu’s leadership and achievements.

Promises for a Better Lagos

Sanwo-Olu shared warm greetings with Lagosians, especially Christians, as they celebrated Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. He expressed optimism for the coming year, pledging to work “better, smarter, and bigger” to improve the lives of citizens.

“We wish you all the very best of the season. Next year, we will work better, smarter, and bigger for the citizens of Lagos,” Sanwo-Olu stated.

Acknowledgment of Journalists

The governor also commended LAGOCO for their initiative, describing journalists as pivotal to driving growth. He noted that the book offers insights into the leadership principles and collaborative spirit that underpin his administration’s approach to governance.

“Through its pages, readers will gain an understanding of the governance and leadership principles guiding our administration and the collaborative vision we have for a better Lagos,” Sanwo-Olu said.

A Testament to Progress

LAGOCO Chairman, George Okojie, highlighted the governor’s achievements, which span various sectors and are comprehensively detailed in the book. He praised Sanwo-Olu for maintaining the momentum of development across the state.

The event was graced by prominent figures, including Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Secretary to the State Government Mrs. Abimbola Salu-Hundeyin, Head of Service Mr. Bode Agoro, and Commissioner for Information and Strategy Mr. Gbenga Omotoso.

Sanwo-Olu reassured residents that his administration remains committed to transforming Lagos into a hub of innovation, opportunity, and hope for future generations.
