_I and my Father are one (John 10:30).

In John 10:32-38 we read about the Lord Jesus and the scepticism of the Jewish leaders as they accused Him of blasphemy, seeking an opportunity to arrest Him. Verse 39 says, “Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand” (John 10:39).

Now, notice the latter portion that says “he escaped out of their hand.” Some have said He escaped out of fear; that’s not true, because He didn’t have it in Him to fear. Remember, He faced death and refused to avoid it even when He had the chance. He escaped on this occasion because it wasn’t the appointed time for His sacrifice.

If He had allowed them to harm Him, the Father would have intervened, and they would have been destroyed. Jesus knew this. He said in Matthew 26:53, “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?” This was the Son of God, fully aware of His authority and the power of angels at His command.

Consider Elisha and his servant when they were surrounded by an army. The servant was afraid, but Elisha told him, “…Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha” (2 Kings 6:16-17).

If that happened with Elisha, then think about the Lord Jesus. He knew He had myriads of angels with Him. His actions were purposeful, demonstrating that He was always in control. Even under pressure, He maintained His focus on fulfilling the will of the Father, showing us the perfect example of courage and confidence in God’s plan.

This same Jesus lives in us today by His Spirit, and His boldness is ours. Like Him, you must trust the Father completely, walking in the assurance of His love, power, and perfect purpose for your life. Psalm 118:6 says, “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?”

Furthermore, the Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 1:7 reinforces this truth: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” Hallelujah! So be bold in affirming who you are in Christ and your oneness with Him. That was what got the Jews mad; their religious minds couldn’t accept or relate with the audacity and conviction with which Jesus spoke of His oneness with the Father. And we’re just like Him.

CONFESSION
I walk in the boldness and courage of Christ; fear has no place in me. I’m bold, courageous, daring and audacious in affirming my oneness with the Lord. I live boldly in Him, full of faith and confidence in His divine protection, guidance and plan for my life. And I thank the Lord for the victory I have in Christ Jesus. Amen.

DAILY AFFIRMATIONS:

I affirm that my life in Christ is one of endless supply and abundance. I do not go up to come down. I am waxing great, going forward, and growing until I become very great. I am a marvel, a wonder unto them. I live the life God has ordained me to live. I live in dominion over and above sickness, disease, and death. God has brought me into a large place where I am lack free, poverty resistant and possessing all I need to an extent that I require no aid or support. I am blessed beyond measure and my prosperity is noised abroad. I am flourishing, enjoying every moment of my life in Christ Jesus. I am not the poor trying to get rich but I am the rich discovering what belongs to me in Christ Jesus.

As a child of God, my life is filled with His glory, beauty, and grace. I affirm that grace and peace are multiplied unto me! The eyes of my understanding are enlightened by the Spirit of God through the knowledge of God’s Word, to see and receive every good thing that God has made available unto me in Christ Jesus. I take control of my life, aligning it with God’s will. Through the power of my words, I shape a world of beauty and order. I walk in righteousness, victory, health, success, and prosperity. I fix my gaze on the eternal realities of God’s Kingdom. Despite challenges, my faith grows, prevails, and triumphs through the Word.

I declare perfection over my health, finances, family, and all areas of concern. They respond to my faith-filled declarations. I’m full of joy twenty-four hours a day, for the joy of the Lord is my strength! I’ve been brought into a life of rest, with joy unspeakable and full of glory. The Lord continually fills my mouth with laughter and joy in the Holy Ghost! Daily, as I look into the mirror of God’s Word, I see the real me—an associate of the God kind—with the life and nature of righteousness in my spirit. I am the effulgence of God’s glory, a dispenser of His grace, proof of His love and goodness! The Lord is the light of my life, and in Him, I live and move, and have my being in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Speak in tongues.
