Rhapsody of Realities March 27th 2025, THE FAITH-EXAMPLES OF JOSHUA AND CALEB

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13).

Numbers 13-14 recounts the story of the twelve spies sent by Moses to scout the land of Canaan, the Promised Land. They spent forty days exploring the land and brought back evidence of its abundance, including a large cluster of grapes. However, while Caleb and Joshua encouraged the Israelites to trust God and take possession of the land, the other ten spies described the land as dangerous and inhabited by giants.

The Israelites, overcome by fear and doubt, rebelled against Moses and Aaron, longing to return to Egypt. God’s anger burned against their unbelief, and as a result, that generation, except Caleb and Joshua, didn’t enter the Promised Land. Despite Caleb and Joshua’s attempts to reassure them of God’s power, the people refused to believe.

Here’s what I want you to notice concerning what the Lord said about the report of these other 10 spies: “And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel…” (Numbers 13:32). It wasn’t Joshua or Moses who labelled their report as “evil”—it was the Lord Himself, because it contradicted His Word.

What was the evil report? God had declared that the Israelites would conquer the giants and take possession of the land flowing with milk and honey. But the ten spies said, “Even if it’s true that the land flows with milk and honey, we can’t take it.” They disregarded God’s assurance of victory and accused Moses of leading them into trouble.

In Numbers 13:32-33, they said, “…The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” Learn from this. No evil report should come from you. Be like Joshua and Caleb. Our opening verse says we have the same spirit of faith; we believe and therefore speak in agreement with God’s Word.

What has the Word said about your health or prosperity? What has God said about your life and future? Affirm the same things in agreement with Him. Speak faith-filled words only, regardless of what your senses perceive. Hold fast to your confessions of faith, knowing that God’s Word is true and always prevails.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the spirit of faith at work in me. I believe your Word, and I speak in agreement with it. I walk in health, prosperity and victory; I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Amen.

I am enjoying God’s boundless grace; it is at work in me continuously. No matter what happens to those in the world, I stand firm in faith, and I enjoy my glorious life now. I bask in the provisions of Christ for my life, health, and all that concern me. There are no impossibilities with me. All things are possible with me. I am flourishing and bearing all-around fruits. I have significant attainments and supernatural productivity. I experience increase of every size. I have mighty harvest of blessings and miracles. My ground is producing new seeds and my seeds produce in rapid succession. There is abundance of harvest everywhere for me because protocols are broken for my sake.

All things are working for my good. I am blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus and I take possession of my inheritance in Christ. This is my season for exaltation. That favour of God that brings promotion now rests upon me. I have been given great power, prosperity, and control. I am rightly positioned for all the Lord has planned for me this year. God is happy to do me good. He delights in my prosperity, my promotion, and exaltation. I am wondrously and marvelously helped of God. I’m a victor in Christ Jesus. Fear, doubt, and unbelief have no place in me, for my faith in God and in His eternal Word is the victory that overcomes the world! Divinity is tabernacled in my physical body! I’m a new creation, not subject to the elements of this world. I live a transcendent life!

I live above the limitations of the human body and the physical realm through the ability of God’s Spirit. Health, peace, joy, and the glorious life are my present-hour inheritance. I am a king and a priest unto God and my words are full of power and authority; therefore I live a life of victory, success, divine health, abundance, excellence, and glory. I possess and eat the good of the land because I have a goodly heritage. The wisdom of God is at work in me causing me to bring forth good things from within. I have an excellent mind. I bring forth creative ideas, results and innovations. My mind is blessed of God. I’m extravagantly rich. I dwell in peace with safety and prosperity. My peace and prosperity are unending in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Speak in tongues.
