Rhapsody of Realities August 9th 2025, BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT

Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation (Mark 3:28-29).

Some have asked, “God is love, and He forgives all our sins, how come He says anyone who sins against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven?”

First, understand that the Lord Jesus addressed this warning to the Jews; they were the ones to whom the covenants and the Law were given. The Spirit of God had been revealed to them, and they had seen His works throughout the Old Testament. They were aware of the Holy Spirit’s role in creation, how He moved upon the waters in Genesis, and how He garnished the heavens.

But despite this knowledge, when they saw Jesus perform miracles by the power of the Holy Spirit, they accused Him of working by the power of Beelzebub. Therefore, the Master warned them that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit would not be forgiven. The Holy Spirit is the One who leads a person into salvation, convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgement, and teaches and guides God’s people into all truth.

Without the Holy Spirit, no one can come to God or believe in Him. Therefore, if someone blasphemes the Holy Spirit, they reject the very One who is meant to guide and lead them in the things of God.

To blaspheme the Holy Spirit requires a deep knowledge of God’s Word and the things of the Spirit. It takes someone who knows who the Holy Spirit is to sin against the Holy Spirit. That’s why it’s rare to find someone who’s been a true Christian sin against the Holy Spirit. It’s very rare because to do that is to intentionally disdain the Spirit of grace.

The Bible explains this further in Hebrews 10:28-29: “He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?” It further shows that it’s not just any person who can do this but one with full knowledge of the truth, yet chooses to despise and disparage the Spirit of Truth.

*Dear Father, thank you for the precious Holy Spirit who convicts, teaches and guides me into all truth. I acknowledge and honour His work in my life and around the world, yielding myself fully to His guidance and blessings. I walk in wisdom and understanding, continually growing in the knowledge of your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DAILY AFFIRMATIONS:

I am blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus and I take a hold of my inheritance in Christ. My health, strength, and wealth are assured in the Name of Jesus! Christ is mingled with my spirit. So, I refuse to be sick any day, anytime. I am invigorated with strength always! My Father and I are one. The good life is mine. Health is mine. Joy is aglow in my spirit. My life is a complete testimony that there’s a higher life in Christ. Jesus suffered the shame of dying on the cross so that I may live the life of glory, honor, dignity, and excellence. When He died, I died with Him and when He rose from the dead, I rose with Him in victory. Now, I live in the finished works of glory and beauty that His sacrifice wrought for me.

The Lord, my God, is King eternal. His Word lives and abides forever. According to His supreme Word, I affirm that my whole being is saturated with light. I radiate God’s glory with health, success, prosperity, and excellence. My mind is flooded with the light of God’s Word and I only see pictures of life, strength, and health. I know who I am! I’m from above and my life is the supernatural life of God’s Word. I think the right thoughts, speak the right words, and receive the results of God’s Word in my life today and always. My spirit is conditioned by the Word of God. My spirit, soul, and body are daily transformed and renewed as I meditate on God’s Word.

I am full of the joy of the Holy Ghost, and that joy gives me strength and vitality every day. I have in me the indestructible life! I declare that my faith is alive and producing health in my body, therefore; I refuse to entertain doubts in my heart, for I know my faith always works. I’m not moved by what I see, feel or hear; I’m only moved by the Word of God. I’m living in health 24hrs a day, 7 days a week; no weapon formed or fashioned against me shall prosper. My body is invigorated by the Spirit of God who lives in me. Nothing in me or about me dies or succumbs to the corrupting influences of this world. I rule over all the forces of darkness as I manifest the glory of God everywhere I go in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Speak in tongues.
