Officer Found Hanging in His Room
Bawa’s lifeless body was discovered by his father, who entered his room and found him hanging from the ceiling. Authorities were alerted immediately, and the police swiftly transported his remains to the nearest general hospital in Kontagora Local Government Area, where he was officially pronounced dead.

“On February 8, 2025, at approximately 2 PM, it was reported that ASP Shafi’u Bawa of 61 PMF Kontagora was found dead, having allegedly taken his own life by hanging.
