Pump price hike: Nigeria is on the verge of collapse – Secondus The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s former national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, has issued a warning that Nigeria is getting closer to collapse as a result of the recent increase in fuel prices.In an interview in Abuja, he chastised the All Progressives Congress (APC) government of Bola Tinubu for its failure to exercise effective leadership over the previous two years.“Every indicator points to a state and democracy in collapse. The masses are suffering, so we must pray for our nation,” Secondus said, highlighting the plight of the populace. He pointed out that the cost of gas at the pump is currently N1,100, and in certain places, prices are as high as N1,200, which makes things worse for a lot of Nigerians. Secondus talked about the PDP’s current crisis as well, focusing on Rivers, his home state. He maintained that if everyone had done their part, the conflict would not have arisen and could have been prevented. He declared that the PDP in Rivers cannot have two leaders and that Governor Siminalaye Fubara is the legitimate leader who should be respected by all party members.A ship never has two captains. He underlined, “Governor Fubara is our governor and the leader of our state,” and expressed optimism that the party’s internal problems would soon be settled.Secondus asked for a lowering of tensions and advised the dissident party members, led by Chief Nyesom Wike, to acknowledge Fubara’s leadership in a subdued manner to promote the state’s advancement. “The state pains me greatly because investors and businesses are fleeing. “They ought to moderate it,” he suggested.In order to safeguard Nigeria’s precarious democracy, Secondus also argued for judicial reforms, emphasizing the judiciary’s crucial role in the government. “We all want to see reform and improvement in the judiciary,” he said in closing.

My Present Easy (Yet Highly Effective) Daily Skincare Regimen Three months ago, I made my first-ever visit to a dermatologist. Yes, that is correct—for the first time in my life. At 47 years old, that may seem a bit unbelievable. Upon reflection, it seems somewhat absurd, particularly in light of the fact that I know individuals who have spent the majority of their adult lives visiting the dermatologist on an annual basis.  However, since I’ve never really experienced any problems—aside from the very infrequent minor sunburn—and have no family history of skin conditions to speak of, I haven’t felt particularly concerned about it or pressured to develop a habit out of it. Yet, I felt it was about time to at least check in and see if there was anything to be concerned about, given my age of 47. Everything about my appointment went well. I pose very little risk. Nothing was alarming. They said to come back in two years. That’s okay with me! I wouldn’t say that I’ve always had a strict skincare regimen, but I did start taking it more seriously about seven or eight years ago. (Remember that you may always start a good skincare regimen at any time.) And even though I think I do very well in that area, I did ask for some criticism on my present regimen while I was in front of a professional at the dermatologist’s clinic. Do I go far enough? Overdoing it? Do you think I should add anything? I was informed—quite surprisingly—that I was essentially doing it correctly. Surprisingly, the doctor also emphasized that maintaining good skin just actually requires a few simple actions: Use a mild cleanser to clean. After washing, moisturize. Use sunscreen every day. Among the three, the one I wasn’t doing as consistently was applying sunscreen every day. Yes, I always use sunscreen if I plan to spend any time outside in the sun, but regardless of the season or if you’re sitting inside next to a window, you’re always exposed to the sun.   There is no “one size fits all” approach to sun and skin care. Selecting the appropriate items is crucial for any skincare regimen. Additionally, I refer to “the right products” as ones that suit your needs. Since every person has a distinct type of skin, what suits one person may not suit you. I’m constantly searching for amazing skincare products, and I’m willing to pay a premium for goods that are genuinely supported by research and dermatologists.
