Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminialayi Fubara, has officially invited the leadership of the Rivers State House of Assembly, under Speaker Martins Amaewhule, to a crucial peace meeting aimed at resolving ongoing political disputes in the state.

This development follows the governor’s receipt of the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the Supreme Court ruling concerning the state’s political tensions.

Governor Fubara’s Invitation to Lawmakers

The invitation, issued through the office of the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, was addressed to Speaker Rt. Hon. Martins Amaewhule and other lawmakers. The scheduled meeting is set to take place on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Government House in Port Harcourt.
