The Adamawa State Police Command has confirmed the apprehension of five individuals who are suspected to be involved in an armed robbery case.
The suspects were arrested on Thursday and are accused of using dangerous weapons, such as daggers, knives, and face masks, to rob unsuspecting victims of their valuables.
According to the Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the authorities were able to recover several offensive weapons and face masks from the suspects.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Muhammad Ali (60 years old), Kalifa Muhammed (20 years old), Nuhu Muhammed (22 years old), Jamilu Muhammad (22 years old), and Abdullahi Isa (18 years old). All the suspects hail from the Mubi North Local Government Area in Adamawa State.
The Police Command has assured the public that additional details regarding the case will be shared at the appropriate time.
