Fresh reports from the UK Mirror have revealed the salary details of two high-profile Premier League summer signings — Viktor Gyokeres at Arsenal and Benjamin Sesko at Manchester United. The figures show a significant wage gap between the two strikers, despite both securing lucrative contracts.

According to the report, Benjamin Sesko, Manchester United’s newly signed forward from RB Leipzig, will be earning considerably less than Arsenal’s latest attacking addition, Viktor Gyokeres. Interestingly, Sesko turned down a more financially rewarding contract from Newcastle United in order to join Manchester United, signaling his desire to play for the Red Devils over accepting a bigger paycheck elsewhere.

Manchester United have agreed to pay RB Leipzig a total package worth up to £74 million — comprising an initial £66.4 million fee and an additional £7.6 million in performance-related add-ons — to secure the 22-year-old striker’s services. Sesko’s contract spans five years, with weekly wages of approximately £160,000, translating to just over £8.3 million per year.

On the other hand, Viktor Gyokeres made the switch from Sporting Lisbon to Arsenal in July, in a transfer deal valued at £64 million.
