His early career took shape at T2 Boys Studios in Agege, Lagos, where he also worked as a backup dancer for prominent Fuji musician, Pasuma. His rise to national attention came in 2019 after he released a Fuji-inspired cover of Davido’s hit song If. The rendition gained massive traction online and introduced him to a wider audience. Building on that momentum, Destiny Boy went on to create Fuji-style covers of songs by well-known artistes including Tekno, 2Baba, 9ice, and Small Doctor. Beyond his music career, Destiny Boy also experienced significant milestones in his personal life. In November 2024, he welcomed his first child with his partner, Iremide.
