The Lagos State Police Command has officially confirmed the unfortunate death of a 45-year-old electrician who was electrocuted while attempting to reconnect power cables to an electric pole in the Shasha area of Lagos State.
The incident, which occurred on Saturday, August 10, at around 11:30 a.m., has thrown the community into mourning.
Police Statement on the Tragic Event
According to Hundeyin, the electrician met his untimely death while working on live electricity cables connected to a pole in Shasha.
“The electrician lost his life while reconnecting electricity cables to an electric pole at Shasha,” the police statement read.
