Popular Nigerian crossdresser and internet celebrity, Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, better known by his alias Bobrisky, has once again stirred controversy online—this time taking a swipe at men living in the United Kingdom.
“UK men are too broke, avoid them,” Bobrisky declared.
He further described a lifestyle he finds off-putting, claiming that most men in the UK share apartments and go as far as splitting bills, which he considers undesirable and even degrading. The lifestyle of cost-sharing among men does not align with Bobrisky’s perception of wealth or masculinity.
“They share apartments and bills amongst themselves, ewwww,” he added, in an apparent expression of disgust.
Standards for Suitors: Designer Brands Only
“Before any UK guy can approach me, please come correct,” he said. “The least wristwatch I want to see you wear is a Presidential Rolex and designer slippers.”
Justifying his expectations, Bobrisky pointed to his own lifestyle, stating that if he, as a woman, could afford and confidently wear luxury items like a Presidential Rolex, then it should be no excuse for men not to do the same.
The statement has sparked a mix of reactions, with many questioning Bobrisky’s perception of wealth and class, while others defend his right to set personal preferences.
