Eyewitnesses within the university community disclosed that Pentagon Lodge consists of five separate blocks, and only one segment of one block collapsed during the incident. The collapse was verified by Elom Iyke Ubochi, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of AE-FUNAI, who spoke to LMSINT MEDIA in Abakaliki on Saturday. Ubochi shared his relief that the incident happened during school hours, emphasizing that the timing may have prevented a major tragedy.
