Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has once again emphasized his administration’s dedication to fairness, openness, and the protection of Lagosians affected by the removal of structurally unstable and environmentally dangerous buildings across the state. The governor restated that every resident displaced during these regulatory demolitions will receive the appropriate support, financial recompense, and resettlement packages designed to ease the transition and restore stability to their lives. This renewed assurance was delivered during the presentation of the second batch of financial compensation to affected members of the Oworonshoki community. Their properties had been cleared recently as part of ongoing enforcement of Lagos State environmental and safety standards. Sanwo-Olu noted that the exercise was not punitive but part of the government’s obligation to safeguard lives, prevent building collapses, and maintain a sustainable urban environment. He highlighted that the state will continue to prioritize the welfare of impacted families while strengthening measures to prevent unlawful constructions. The governor encouraged residents to adhere strictly to building codes, adding that urban renewal efforts will be carried out with compassion and transparent communication. He assured the community that the government remains committed to supporting them throughout the resettlement process.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work (John 4:34). The divine assignment God has entrusted to us is to bring salvation to the nations, expand His kingdom, and complete the work that the Lord Jesus started. The Bible says, “…he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand” (Isaiah 53:10). In Mark 16:15, He said, “…Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” This is our magnum opus—the grandest work of all history. Others before us began it, but we’ve been called to complete it. This generation has been chosen for the grand finale, and we will prevail. Hallelujah! We’re the most equipped generation in the history of the Church. We’ve been blessed beyond measure. We’ve received knowledge, insight, platforms, resources, and divine connections. We’ve been given all the grace necessary. There are no excuses. We have the message. We have the mandate. And we have the means. When you set long-term goals for career, travel, or personal success, make sure to consider setting your personal targets for the full preaching of the Gospel. The Master did. He said, “…My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work” (John 4:34). His focus was on completing His divine mission. The Lord gave us a clear vision; He said, “…this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matthew 24:14). And we’re the ones to preach it. We’ve been graced and empowered to do it, and we will not falter. The Gospel is penetrating every nation, every city, and every community. Give more of your time, energy and resources into the Gospel. Dedicate yourself wholeheartedly, knowing that your labour of love is yielding eternal harvest. Stay committed; intercede for sinners, persevere in love, and let your financial involvement continue to bear lasting fruits for the Kingdom. We’re in the final stretch. Stay fervent. Stay yielded to the Spirit. The Gospel will cover the earth as the Lord has said. Hallelujah! PRAYER*Dear Father, thank you for counting me faithful and making me a partner in the end-time mandate of completing the full preaching of the Gospel in the nations of the world. The Gospel prevails through me; and I thank you for your grace, wisdom and divine strategies being employed by the Church to finish the great work you started, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Experts Challenge FG’s Claims on Economic Progress

The Nigerian economyA wide spectrum of economic specialists, industry analysts, and policy observers have presented diverse viewpoints regarding the Federal Government’s economic reform outcomes over the past two and a half years. Their submissions sharply contrast the Federal Government’s self-evaluation, raising questions about the true state of the nation’s financial health. Recently, the Federal Government rated its performance highly, celebrating newly released macroeconomic figures that highlight improvements in major indicators. According to the administration, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is showing signs of steady recovery, inflation is easing, the exchange rate appears more predictable, and external reserves are growing.Based on these numbers, government officials declared that the economy has “turned the corner,” suggesting that current reforms are producing the expected transformation. However, independent investigations by LMSINT MEDIA, coupled with insights from numerous economists and industry stakeholders, reveal a contrasting reality. Although the reported statistics may indicate movement in a positive direction, experts insist that the lived experiences of businesses and ordinary citizens paint a far more complicated picture. They argue that many of the policy impacts reveal deeper structural weaknesses across several sectors, suggesting that the country still faces significant economic challenges despite the optimistic projections from the Federal Government. While analysts acknowledge that any improvement in macroeconomic readings is encouraging, they maintain that progress on paper does not automatically translate into meaningful relief for industries, workers, small businesses, or households. They also stress that various reforms continue to exert pressure on production costs, supply chains, and consumer purchasing power, underscoring the need for more comprehensive and people-centered solutions.

2026 WCQ Playoffs: Eric Chelle Praises Four Super Eagles Stars After Dominant Victory

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has expressed strong admiration for four standout players following Nigeria’s impressive 4-1 triumph over Gabon in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff clash held on Thursday. The players singled out for exceptional performance are Calvin Bassey, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Benjamin Fredrick, and Zaidu Sanusi—all of whom delivered solid defensive contributions throughout the encounter. Chelle noted that the quartet demonstrated remarkable discipline, control, and tactical intelligence during the match played in Rabat, Morocco. According to him, their defensive awareness, swift recovery, and ability to maintain shape gave Nigeria the stability needed to dominate the game. He emphasized that their overall performance not only strengthened the backline but also provided the team with the confidence required to push forward and secure a convincing victory. Chelle highlighted that maintaining such standards will be crucial as the Super Eagles continue their journey in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying series. The dominant win against Gabon has boosted Nigeria’s morale, with fans expressing optimism about the team’s evolving structure and the positive impact of players who continue to rise to expectations under Chelle’s leadership.

Nigerian Govt Aware of Policies Fueling Christian Persecution but Prefers Media Manipulation – Ted Cruz

United States Senator Ted Cruz has alleged that the Nigerian government fully understands the policies contributing to the rising concerns surrounding Christian persecution in the country but has instead chosen to divert attention through strategic media manipulation rather than taking direct responsibility. According to Cruz, the continuous issues affecting Christian communities across various regions in Nigeria are not hidden from government authorities. He emphasized that the administration is not only aware of the root causes but is also deliberately avoiding meaningful action that could address the increasing worries surrounding religious attacks, targeted violence, and community displacement. Cruz stated that the Nigerian authorities should prioritize genuine accountability by addressing the underlying sources behind these violent incidents. Instead, he argues that officials have opted for manipulating narratives through communication channels to shape public perception and silence criticism. He added that the alleged suppression of information and attempts to control how the media reports religious conflicts indicate a deeper unwillingness to confront the systemic factors driving these incidents. Observers and analysts have long pointed to leadership decisions, security loopholes, and policy shortcomings as major contributors to unrest in different parts of the country. The U.S. senator expressed disappointment that rather than adopting transparent strategies—such as strengthening security responses, implementing protection frameworks, and ensuring justice for victims—the Nigerian government has largely relied on deflecting global scrutiny through controlled messaging. In recent years, global human rights organizations have repeatedly highlighted worrisome cases of violence targeting Christians, calling for bolder interventions. However, Cruz insists that the lack of consistent enforcement of protective measures continues to worsen the situation, leaving affected communities in fear. He encouraged international institutions to remain observant and firm in demanding improved accountability from Nigerian leadership. Cruz stressed that media manipulation cannot hide the realities faced by vulnerable groups experiencing repeated attacks. This development has continued to spark conversations among Nigerians and global observers, many of whom believe that addressing the foundational issues behind religious tensions should be a top priority. Strengthening justice systems, improving intelligence operations, and implementing stronger policies could help restore public trust and reduce the rising anxieties surrounding faith-based violence. For readers seeking extended context on religious conflict patterns, you can explore global reports and security assessments available from reputable international bodies. For more news insights on Nigeria, visit our Politics and National Updates sections on LMSINT Media.

Rhapsody of Realities Friday, November 14th 2025, EMPOWERED TO CHANGE OUR WORLD

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high (Luke 24:49). The Lord Jesus spent about three years with His disciples before His death, burial and resurrection. During the period, they learnt from Him, walked with Him, watched His miracles, heard His message, and received direct impartations from Him. They had a message, they had the calling, and they had been trained. Yet, before they could take a step into ministry, He gave them this vital instruction: “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high” (Luke 24:49). In other words, even though they were ready in every other sense, they needed one more thing: the promise of my Father. That promise was the Holy Spirit, and without Him, their efforts wouldn’t produce divine results. But with Him, they would be effective. And that’s exactly what happened. Luke, in Acts 2:14-41, describes how the same Peter who had once denied Jesus (Luke 22:61-62) stood up boldly on the day of Pentecost and delivered a powerful message that transformed three thousand lives: “But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them…” (Acts 2:14). He didn’t stop there. In Acts 4:4, after he and John healed a lame man, he preached boldly again and the Bible says, “…many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.” That’s effectiveness. That’s divine speed. Through the Holy Spirit, Peter’s outreach expanded rapidly, resulting in thousands being saved within a very short time. Today, we have the same Holy Spirit, and the results are the same. He’s made us effective witnesses. We’re not trying to get into that place of power; we’ve already been endued with power (Acts 1:8). We’ve been empowered to change our world as able ministers of the Gospel (2 Corinthians 3:5-6). We’re making an impact, transforming lives all over the world. We’re functioning exactly as God intended, with power, with dominion, and with undeniable results. We’re moving with the speed of the Spirit, for the Bible says, “A quick work will the Lord do, and cut it short in righteousness” (Romans 9:28). This is not by might, nor by human power, but by the Spirit of the living God. It’s God’s wisdom, God’s speed, and God’s ability at work in us. The Gospel is prevailing. The nations are open. The harvest is abundant. And this is all to His glory! PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit who lives in me and has made me effective in life and ministry. I’m walking in power, wisdom and dominion, producing results that bring you glory, advancing your Kingdom with divine speed, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. WCQ: What Cristiano Ronaldo Told Ireland Coach Hallgrímsson After His Red Card – Full Details

WCQ: What Cristiano Ronaldo Told Me After His Red Card – Ireland Coach Hallgrímsson Republic of Ireland head coach, Heimir Hallgrímsson, has opened up about the unusual words Cristiano Ronaldo shared with him shortly after receiving a red card in their FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifying clash on Thursday night. According to Hallgrímsson, the Portugal captain made a comment he described as “silly,” moments after the referee dismissed the veteran forward during what became one of the most shocking moments of the match. Ronaldo, visibly surprised by the decision, exchanged a few words with the Irish manager as he walked off the pitch. LMSINT MEDIA reports that Troy Parrott became the hero of the night after scoring twice to give Ireland a 2-0 victory over Portugal at the packed Aviva Stadium in Dublin. The victory has significantly boosted Ireland’s chances of staying alive in their World Cup qualifying journey. Portugal, who entered the match as heavy favorites, struggled to settle into their rhythm before Parrott punished their defensive lapses. The pressure mounted further when Ronaldo received a red card in the 62nd minute, cutting short any hopes of a Portuguese comeback. Hallgrímsson explained that Ronaldo approached him briefly after the incident and offered a comment that the coach interpreted as lighthearted, shocking, and amusing despite the tension of the moment. Although the coach refrained from revealing every detail, he noted that the striker’s reaction was “unexpected” considering the seriousness of the situation. The red card shifted the entire dynamic of the game. Portugal were forced to reorganize with one man down, leaving Ireland to exploit more spaces and maintain full control throughout the remainder of the encounter. The result left the Irish fans celebrating a memorable win, while Portugal walked off frustrated, reassessing their next steps in the qualifiers. Ireland’s victory has now ignited renewed optimism for their World Cup qualification campaign. Meanwhile, Portugal faces pressure to avoid further slipups in their remaining fixtures. Though Ronaldo’s dismissal remains a talking point globally, Hallgrímsson’s disclosure about their brief exchange adds a fresh layer to the night’s drama.

Ekiti Court Sentences Seven Individuals to Death Over Armed Robbery and Cult-related Crimes

An Ekiti State High Court sitting in Ado-Ekiti has handed down death sentences to seven individuals convicted of conspiracy, armed robbery, and activities linked to a secret cult organization. The ruling, delivered in the state capital, marks a significant judgment aimed at curbing violent crimes across the region. The convicted individuals — Oyebanji Jimoh (32), Jimoh Azeez (32), Bolaji Ayodele Stephen (32), Ibrahim Alausa (33), Olorunfemi Busayo (32), Adeniyi Adewumi (30), and Idowu Sunday (32) — were brought before Justice Adekunle Adeleye on January 28, 2020. They faced a five-count charge that included criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, and confirmed membership in a proscribed secret cult. During the proceedings, the prosecution presented evidence detailing the defendants’ involvement in coordinated robbery operations as well as their roles within a cult group operating in the state. The court noted that the magnitude of the offenses, coupled with the threat posed to community safety, warranted the maximum penalty under the law. Justice Adeleye emphasized that violent crimes, especially those involving weapons and criminal gangs, continue to pose severe dangers to residents. He added that the court’s decision reflects a commitment to ensuring justice and discouraging further criminal activities. The defendants, after being found guilty on all counts, were sentenced to death as prescribed by the relevant provisions of the state’s criminal laws. This judgment underscores the Ekiti State judiciary’s stance on combating insecurity, with authorities reaffirming their commitment to eliminating cultism and armed robbery through strict legal enforcement.

Kofa Rejoins APC, Receives Warm Reception at the National Assembly

Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa, the respected legislator representing the Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has officially returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC). His comeback to the ruling party has attracted significant attention within the political landscape, especially as he rejoined together with Rt. Hon. Sagir Koki, the representative of Kano Municipal and its neighboring districts. The announcement was made public through a statement shared on Jibrin’s official Facebook page on Thursday. In his post, he expressed his enthusiasm about reuniting with the APC family, reaffirming his commitment to contributing to national development through the platform. According to him: “Today, I officially joined the APC with my brother, Rt. Hon. Sagir Koki, member representing Kano Municipal and its environs.” Their return to the APC marks a significant political realignment within Kano State, which has remained one of Nigeria’s most active political battlegrounds. Both lawmakers have previously played strategic roles in shaping political discussions within the National Assembly. Their re-entry into the party is expected to strengthen grassroots mobilization, legislative synergy, and political stability across their constituencies. Political observers also believe that their decision could influence future political calculations within the state, especially considering the influential role both men have played in national politics. With Kano being one of Nigeria’s most populated states, any political shift within its leadership often draws national interest. The warm reception at the National Assembly highlights the lawmakers’ longstanding relationships with party members and colleagues. Their rejoining symbolizes a renewed collaboration and a reinforced sense of unity within the APC caucus. As the political environment continues to evolve, their return may contribute to shaping upcoming legislative agendas, party strategies, and wider political engagements across Northern Nigeria.
